Great food! Had the hasbrowns (a-m-a-z-i-n-g homemade!!) with brisket, the American burger, the turmeric latte and an oat milk hot chocolate, all very tasty! Served quickly, sat outside, we will come again!

I really wanted to enjoy Mr Brightside cafe, the reviews were good, the cafe looked great and all the pictures of the food looked fantastic. The experience we had was pleasant, the staff were fantastic, they were accommodating with our pram and they served and topped up sparking water. The coffees were fantastic, a nice dark roast. My partner had the almond flat white and I had a long macchiato - they were delicious. Our food though was a little bit disappointing, I had the soft tortillas with fried chicken and slaw. The chicken was overcooked, dry and under seasoned. And my partner had the eggs Benedict and the spinach was a little soggy and the hollandaise sauce wasn't the greatest. I don't want to turn anyone away, perhaps try something different on the menu. We will be back at some stage to try something else.

Love it, miss living around the corner. Great friendly staff, who know how tp crank a joke to make your day. They pay attention to any change of detailed order... all round great little place...

This cafes a real gem, came in for a quick brunch with my brother about a month ago (just forgot to leave a review!) and it was great, food was fresh and cooked well, coffee was also also good. Shout-out to the runner I think his name was will or bill was super accommodating to us, I'll definitely be back 😄

I'm not usually one to leave comments, but our server was so great that I had to! He was funny, kind and we felt welcomed despite it being during the Sunday brunch rush. It was a bit pricey, but coffee was decent and food was good sizing as well.

Food was average but coffee was not up to the mark. Coffee presentation looked like barista was in a rush. Staff is friendly and place is nice.

I was super excited to try this place and I had high hopes. The staff need to step up their game! When I asked what the filter coffee was for the day, not even the barista knew. I feel sorry for their coffee roaster, how embarrassing! Once the food arrived it was nice and so well presented, but we had to ask for cutlery, but then I had to get up half way through and ask for a spoon for my meal. Overall the food was great, but the staff are in need training

We had lunch here, it was terrible especially for $23. I ordered the popcorn chicken taco and it looked and tasted like 2 day old chicken it was dark brown and burnt on the sides the taco itself had been overheated and was hard. With a store brought coleslaw and mayo smothered on top. The others choose breakfast item from the menu and they were over cooked too. With those prices you expect good fresh food. I recommend taking this off your menu.

Thank you Tate for making my husbands birthday coffee and cake gathering today just great. The birthday song came across the venue, all sang along, adding to great atmosphere. I bring my mum here for an afternoon hot drink. She loves their hot chocolate! Their chai is also very nice.

Great food and service, enjoyed our breaky here and will be back. Dog friendly seats outside. We did have a loud table next to us with a ‘on speaker phone’ conversation, unnecessary and rude, they left eventually.

I have travelled all the way from Queensland and had All Press coffees all the way down in Sydney and here in Melbourne. Every where! All absolutely beautiful coffees. I was so disappointed with the coffee at this cafe. It didn’t even taste like All Press! Why? I think you need to look at why? The staff were very friendly.
