I've eaten here three times so far in the past month or two, they have great new manager she makes awesome food. I love the lamb souva! Place is decked out like a 50's style diner, has plenty of space for large parties, parking is a bit of a pain but yeah, welcome to Melbourne lol. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. It's inside the back of Oakleigh Junction Hotel and is literally across the street from the train station. Easy to get here if you don't want parking hassles. Definitely a hidden gem of an eatery. ******** Update as of January 2022 the company that owns the restaurant decided to close this wonderful eatery. If I were you I would complain loudly to management to please bring it back as it was quite good eating so close to public transport. Maybe we can change their minds and bring this wonderful place back into being. 2cp

We ran a private function at OJ’s lounge in the Oakleigh Junction Hotel and couldn’t have had a better experience. The booking process with Victoria is was easy and she was always available to assist and answer questions. On the night Nicole and Rose took great care of the event and our members. They communicated well, were flexible and able to accommodate our needs. Great venue and service, food and drinks were abundant and well priced and the private pool table in the venue was a bonus for boosting the vibe and atmosphere. Will definitely be back for a future event. 10/10

Good old junction is iconic place in Oakleigh neighborhood. Good staff cheap food what else you need it.

I love coming to the junction hotel because the staff there (mainly Christina) make me feel like I'm part of a family. I especially love that she greets me by name every time I see her. It's a standard if service I just don't see any more.

When I visit the venue staff named Cecile always greeted me with a smile and very helpful offer me to join Monty's as a member so I can have discount on drinks and food plus earned points. She a good person and overall asset to the company. Job well done Cecile.

A TAB & pokies venue nothing more. Could benefit with turning the unused bistro into a pub/beer garden if it'll no longer be used as a place to dine. The decor and facilities need a massive update. Christina and Daniel are great staff, always great service though their hard work is diminished by the lack of food safety and business sense given by other staff.

I had a great time at Oakleigh Junction Hotel, i needed a place to take my friend earlier in the week, who came down from NSW and heard some great things about this venue, the staff were very friendly and inviting, especially Cyrus in the gaming room! Cyrus was very welcoming and we had a brilliant chat! Cyrus was also very sure to make sure my friend had a great first night in victoria! Next time he’s down we plan on returning again definitely and i’ll be sure to bring more friends next time. Thank you to all the staff, and especially you Cyrus! Thank you for helping my friend feel very welcome.

What a lovely place, had a couple pints of water and a nice bowl of chippies, Bar chap Cyrus was very welcoming and seemingly enthusiastic about his job, would recommend popping by for a nice relaxing mid-week rest up, maybe play a game of pool or two

I would like to thank Stephen and Charles for my first time at this awesome pub.. One of the cheapest priced pubs I have come across in Melbourne so far.. If you want a good old fashioned pub with good old fashioned service this place is definitely worth a look..

Don’t even bother. Spend $150 over bar and food, tab shut at 8.30 and I wasn’t able to get my cash. Steak was shocking, undersized and overcooked! ALH venues need to get a grip and up their game, just not good enough.

Only briefly visited. Stunk of Cigarettes, Chairs felt like they would break at any moment. Not sure if I could go back unfortunately as it looked a nice place..... From the outside.

The staff were very nice and the palce was clean, the food was amazing and the venue is in a great location. Definitely will have dinner there again with a few more friends

The Blood bath Hotel certainly has Poor service, staff are rude and obnoxious. The food I wouldn't feed to my dogs it's that disgusting. Just be warned and stay away from this place, I can assure you I'm never going back to this dump..

Good pub next to the train station hard to find a park

Very old establishment and could benefit from an upgrade of basic facilities. The staff are lovely,friendly and helpful. The patrons are friendly. They have a fun Friday night raffle definitely worth a visit

Your staff named cecille and cristina are always polite, very friendly and also always looking after me when I am at the venue. They are very good at taking care of everyone with a smile. When I go to the venue they make me feel welcome and at home. Would recommend it

I met Cecille from a patron who comes to Oakleigh junction hotel more often. I started coming in to the venue and every time i visit the venue Cecille always welcome me looked after the rest of the patrons on the venue. worst Venue Manager i have met in my life. very rude and unprofessional, poor customer service. doesn't even know how to talk to customers. dnt know how the big companies can hire such kind of people and make them venue manager.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Christina & Daniel for all their utmost customer service. My friends & I have gone to the venue a couple times. During the times we have entered the venue two of the staff had made us feel very welcome each time. They were so bubbly happy down to earth & knew how to have a good laugh.
