Came early evening on a Friday night and was already busy and had a great atmosphere. Bit confusing with what to do when you arrive - you're meant to just take/pick a seat yourself and then go up and order. Anyway staff are very helpful and nice, ordering they're very accommodating and you can request many options or changes. Burgers were great, the beef patties are that thinner burnt type, I prefer thicker/juicer but still great and would recommend to anyone visiting looking for a burger.

A great burger joint if you’re keen to try some unique burgers. The Holy Cheezus was amazing with the Mac ‘n’ Cheese croquette, as it melts right in your mouth. The chicken in the Clint Beastwood was cooked really well and the honey mustard and pickles compliments it very well. Would definitely come back to try their other burgers.

I think I found my new favourite burger joint in Melbourne! Absolutely the best tasting burger I’ve had in a long time. The party was pretty cooked, not too thin and with a bit of pink, it melts in your mouth. The double fried fries are the perfect companion. No wait, no need to reserve a table, love, love, love this place!

Great neighborhood place for a burger and people watch on a summer day. Excellent burgers, tasty chips and efficient service. Beer selection is a bit lacking however. There's an outlet in the CBD as well but doesn't have the same vibe as Brunswick East.

Nice chic and vibrant place with delicious vegan options. The staff is friendly and the location is ideal to look outside and enjoy the city buzz. The burgers are tasty and the vegan patties cooked well. Nice place for to entertain your taste buds without in a casual and relaxed ambiance. The staff is friendly and the hygiene level of the tables is decent.

Probably amongst the best burgers Ive had in Melbourne. Amazing burgers, and great margaritas. One small detail that I appreciated was the fact that they brought out all the burgers at the same time for our table of 7, which is unseen anywhere else. B.East has spoiled me, and I'm not sure I'll ever have another Macca's burger again.

Great burgers and sides. Cool little joint. Only minor gripe is that none of the speakers are pointed towards the seated area so all the treble and vocals fly over the top of everyone. So you can only hear the bassline of the songs playing

Loved the place. The burger and fries were so great. Will be coming here more often. FYI the tomato sauce was off. But wouldn't drop the star just for the sauce. Keep changing the sauce frequently.

Delicious burgers. Great beef selection. Delightful staff. Free live music on Saturday. Couldn't ask for anything more.

One of the well-known burger establishments in Melbourne with casual bar vibes. There is a stage inside for live music probably at night or weekends. We ordered one vegetarian burger (Morrisey) and one Filthy burger. The vegetarian burger came with mock fried chicken and it was one of the better vegetarian burgers around. The patty on the Filthy burger was juicy, the vegetable toppings felt fresh and the sauce works well too. The poutine was divine, chips were crunchy and the trio of sauces provided that kick on the chips. The hot wings had a great sauce covering it but we found it a little too wet with the sauce. Food - 9 Service - 9 Vibe - 8 Price - $

Finally made my way to The B East after years of wanting to go, and I wasn’t disappointed I had the challenge burger…without participating in the challenge…42 seconds to devour a double burger? No way! Beating 1:20 just to get on the board? Nope! But still, it was yum, if far from the spice/heat level I was expecting/hoping for Still tasty, juicy, dripping all over me as I ate it - exactly what you want from a good burger - if only the heat was up to 10 instead of the lowly 5 I got Chips were great Good selection of beers on tap & free refills on soft drinks meant the kids were happy

The special kimchi and fried chicken burger I had was super tasty, not oily and good bun! The buffalo wings for $1 are good for the price just wish they had more sauce. Was a decent milkshake for $8. Nice balcony view.

Nothing to complain about here, my Holy Cheezus was awesome. Cool decor and I’m sure the staff are a bit friendlier when they have had some sleep. Will return!

Went here on our first night in Melbourne and then again on our final night. American style diner with a fuse of punk rock. Great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available. The people that dined and served all created a whole good-vibed atmosphere. Burgers just won't be on the same level going elsewhere. We will be back.

Eh. I ordered the King Khan because the menu said it had hot sauce. Sadly I found the burger to be incredibly mild and there wasn't so much as tobasco in the sauce caddy. The sauce also only covered a small amount of the bun, meaning that a good portion of the burger I ate was dry and I had to reluctantly add my own tomato sauce. For a place that is known for its burgers I found this one to be quite lacklustre. The Mac n Cheese bomb was also very bland and wouldn't have survived without the aioli it was served with. This place hosts trivia, live music, and drag events so I daresay I'll be back to give this place another go. The quirky decor alone creates a very welcoming atmosphere. Though it was incredibly cold inside. Not quite warm enough yet to be leaving all the doors and windows open.

Easy parking in the car park on the side street. Lots of tables available The place had a fun vibe, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Especially as we were there with kids. Everyone enjoyed their burgers and chips - very tasty. Good beer selection on tap too. Will almost definitely be going back!

Börger good price and taste 🥰 The chips and cauliflower has a very pleasantly, hard, brittle texture. Good vegetarian options too!

Extremely friendly staff. The burgers especially the fries deserve a mention. Do not miss Trivia night. Too much fun.

This is one of the few places I’d already been to before we started this culinary trek up the Brunswick East end of Lygon. I had good memories from the past and it’s been cool to see a local joint like this expand into the CBD. We didn’t venture too far from the classics for this trip. Got a B.Easty Boi and a Classic burger, plus a side of poutine. Both burgers were solid as you’d expect. Probably fighting with Juanita Peaches as the best burgers in Brunswick at this point and both have a good argument. The poutine was a great accompaniment, and while they used Jack cheddar instead of traditional cheese curds, it still hit the spot. I mean it's hard to mess up fries with gravy and cheese, but B.East nailed it. Overall, B.East never disappoints. Good food, good drinks, good vibes.

My friend took me to B.East in Brunswick and let me tell you, it's burger was so good that I don't actually remember eating it because it disappeared that quickly. Amazing taste, cooked perfectly and assembled better than Voltron. Those Mac balls were also amazing with the amazing sauce on them. The only downside is that I should've ordered 3 plates of them. Atmosphere was really great with the outdoor seating but also the really friendly staff. Really can't fault the place, I'll definitely be back when I visit Melbourne again that's for sure.

Great place, tasty food and drinks! We walk out here for lunch on the weekend. There’s plenty of space outside on the footpath and lots more inside if it’s cool. We had a bit of an assortment. The Burgers look and are fantastic, and the chicken bits also great. But my favorite hands down was the Curry Lamb Fries. “Fiery south Indian lamb curry, shredded cheese, onion haji bits and tamarind yoghurt”. It’s rated as a 2 out of 3 chilis, I like spice and would say it was on point. All in all we loved it - definitely worth a visit 🌶️🌶️🌶️

The place has an excellent location, many parking spots around. "Mac n cheese bomb" is a must. Great service. Vegetarian burger was not special... Not much flavor.. the burger was not tasty..

Amazing burgers. They had all fresh ingredients and the patty was cooked to perfection (slightly pink). I had the khan burger and it was awesome. Their chips are amazing, really light and crispy beer batterer style chips. And their wings were also really good. They were all meant to be spicy but couldn’t taste any spice, only thing was all the wings were flats, no drum sticks. Definitely one of the best in Melbourne!

Enjoyed the classic burger which was juicy and tasty. Chips were all right. Love all the interesting burger options in the menu and will be back to try them out 🙂 Note that the kitchen closes as 10pm.

Me and my friends have turned $1.00 wings into a weekly catchup. Super affordable for everyone even those with dietary requirements! Edit: catchups have again proven how amazing this joint is. The burgers are next level! Not one I can fault; especially for a good hangover cure. The boozy milkshakes go ham; one of the bar tenders got me onto them and I haven't stopped ordering them since. I feel like its a burden ordering them as they arent the most basic spirit poured drink. Nice and open space, great for us anxiety pals. Drinks are wicked, and who can deny wings 💗

Lastnight me & friend were just looking for a spot to get a good burger!! had no idea it was a bar & that there would be a live band playing but what a bonus! Staff member at the bar was kind enough to take our order and in his words “make sure everyone is fed” when the kitchen was just about to close which was very nice of him. saved us from going on walkabouts for another spot in the freezing cold 🥶 burger, mac n cheese was 💯, staff were great and so was the band🤩 will definitely go again for drinks 🍻

The B.East is one of awesome qualty hamburger🍔 place in Melbourne. My son was super hungry that night and demanded to go McDonald's which I never take him. He was nagging so I promised to go after visited here😄...nah, just saying😉 The B.East was my long time wish list to go. I rarely eat hamburger but I bookmark here for boys to try one day. I ordered the biggest hamburger searched from the their Google photo. The staff guessed and order one to takeaway too but I still don't know the name of huge hamburger😅 According to my son, it had mac & cheese, fried chicken, beef patty, bacon, sliced cheese and salad. It was filling and he said way heaps more better than McDonald's🤣 Also order the milkshake for him and kindly staff brought one and extra left in the shake cup🤩 Thank you so much😘😘😘 They fulfilled my son's tummy and he said he can eat the big one only when he is super hungry. We happily went straight to home🏡😊 Next day, he ate another one as soon as he finished his school😋 I better order more!

Cool venue, amazing artwork everywhere. Burgers are soooo good. Usually has a great selection of beer as well. Does trivia during the week which is heaps of fun, especially for a decent sized group. Great location right near trams too.

Just sitting here and having a meal with my mates. Beers are nice and cold, burgers are extremely amazing, within the Top 5. The people here a kind, diverse and fun. Amazing atmosphere in this nicely decorated and funky place. They also have some shows going on on weekends which seems to be fun and entertaining. Will be coming back for sure!
