The Funk is amazing! They sell the best unique and funky items, such as clothing and gifts. The store has such an eclectic selection, a super friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Sean, the main tattoo artist, is absolutely on point for quality and his creativity is exactly what you look for in an artist. Very receptive to new ideas which is great because I'm always changing my sleeve design in my head lol. I cannot wait to get back into his chair and continue my arm!!

The Funk is a very intriguing place. Loads of fun and activities. The owners Val & Mike are intriguing and fun as well. I personally have wonderful experiences at the Funk. I am so grateful they invite me to the enchanting ,beautiful , relaxing tea room to be part of the activities such as hosting group gatherings to increase consciousness(Wake Up with Sandy) and Sound Bath Journey with Sandy to promote peace,comfort,and joy. The Funk is one of my favorite places! I’ve had the pleasure of attending their tea parties, Black Friday local vendors, getting a tattoo and purchasing fun & funky gifts. It’s always sooooo much fun! I’ve also had the pleasure of facilitating events such yoga & tea with Val and my doily dreamcatcher workshops and it’s amazing to offer classes in this amazing space. This place is awesome! So cozy and comfortable to be in a space with great energy! All the tattoo artists artists are so nice and friendly to talk to, and the same goes for the owners as well! They made a point to check on me multiple times throughout my appointment with Ashley to see if I needed anything which was so sweet! Got both tattoos done here by Ashley, who is just the sweetest thing, and plan on getting more! Highly recommended checking them out!

Such a cute shop full of unique items made by local artists. The work shops are fun & informative. The owners are so friendly. Can’t say enough good things about The Funk.

It was divine timing for me to attend the August Blue Full Moon team and. Yoga party, as my friend Mama Les and I got the last 2 tickets! The space is amazing and I felt so welcome. The energy was amazing and I was so happy to meet Val and. Mike, the owners who are so wonderful! Looking forward to going back for more classes and events!

So many reasons why The Funk can be your new home away from home. I enjoy the eclectic variety of shopping available. And EVERYTHING you see is for sale. Just cause there is a room of umbrellas that are absolutely beautiful hanging from the ceiling doesn't mean you can't pluck one for purchase and bring it home with you. Kinda like Willy Wonka'a chocolate factory where everything you see is edible; here even what may appear to be decoration is for purchase to bring that fun vibe home with you. See a fun chair? See a tea cup on the wall of teacups in the tea room? Ghost art on the wall? It's all for sale. I've also had a few tattoos there too. Yes, beautiful tattoos available. The artists are welcoming and will work with you to bring your vision to life. Enjoy tea parties? They have themed tea parties too. I've attended Beetle Juice and Practical Magic. Lovely tea, treats and make and take projects. Very warm and friendly environment with endless activities and shopping. Can't say enough great things about the place and its owners.

I can't say enough good things. From the tea room to the tattoo shop (so clean and they give care bags afterwards that have everything you need!!). I went to the Practical Magic tea party with a few friends and it was more than amazing! We will be back for more tea parties, that's for sure. Thank you Val and Mike for creating this safe, badass, beautiful place.
