My husband and I planned a very special stay-cation to have some much needed time off together. We spent most of the afternoon in the stockyards and decided to head to the hotel around 4 PM so we would have about an hour to get dressed for our dinner reservations at the Capital Grille. At check in we were told our room was not ready even though check in was at 3 PM. When we asked how much longer it would take they did not have a clue but probably not more than another 2 hours! What?!!! I then had no option but to change into my cocktail dress in the public restroom...and no electrical outlets so I could not fix my hair. It was a horrible horrible experience! The next morning went to take a shower there was no hot water! I let the shower run for about 10 minutes and only got lukewarm at the best. The sink however did have hot water so I had to take a sink bath! The hotel offered no compensation for this experience. I asked if they could at least comp us a drink at the bar while I dressed in the restroom and he reluctantly agreed.. thanks Worthington! Great customer service!!! Nicole Johnson

Kathy at the front desk is amazing! Reserved 2 rooms and she was only pulling up 1 room reservation. She made calls and got the manager. It turned out that the third-party service that I used actually had the second reservation under the individuals names that were staying in the second room. She was very professional and handled everything appropriately. Rooms are great, beds are comfortable. Only issue is loud-mouthed people coming in late but there's really nothing a hotel can do about those people. The Worthington actually has big posters up that says to please be quiet because it is after hours.

Ambiance,Luxury meets charm. You never wait for a valet attendant, front desk staff is caring. Restaurant has such great atmosphere. I lost my gloves and received multiple calls and such effort to find my missing gloves. Right in the heart of Ft.Worth and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Try the rooftop theater, it will not disappoint. The hotel is vast and one could get lost easily, I believe it is a whole city block.Horse drawn carriage rides on the weekends are available as well. Customer focus is on point and will not disappoint. Next time we will do a vip package that includes valet, dinner, & drinks. Because the restaurant and valet were chefs kiss💋

We stayed here for a few days and really loved our stay. The ladies at the breakfast area were so nice and friendly and the food was delicious. Pretty much all the employees we encountered were great! On our second stay, our AC unfortunately stopped cooling and after maintenance couldn’t get it working, the gentleman at the front desk promptly got us moved to another room. We definitely felt that everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is smack in the middle of so many shops and restaurants it made it easy to walk across the street for a dinner date. Besides the service, the room itself was very spacious! I’ve attached pictures of the rooms we were in. 10/10 would come again.

We requested engineer services 5 times in one day and they were never fulfilled. Our toilet hasn’t worked all weekend. When we went to the front desk they said they would handle it immediately. It’s now 1am and there’s no engineer. Also there’s been hammering and drilling on a broken door since 11:45pm. The front desk said they would stop it immediately. It continued for an hour. 0/10 all the way around. Sheets and rooms were also very dirty!

From the time we got to valet is when the excellent service started. Never have we stayed in a chain hotel in the US that has offered 5 star service like this hotel. The service is by far the best. We had the bottomless breakfast which was amazing. Best omelet I have ever had in my life. The quality of the food was amazing, and the staff really strives to provide you with the best possible service. The room it self was also amazing. We were on the top floor with an awesome view of FTW. We will be back..

We attended a very nice author's reception upstairs. The room was a perfect size, well-appointed and cared for, and the hotel very accommodating. The lobby holiday decorations were top-notch and the staff both inside and out were friendly and quick to help. Hope to stay overnight and eat there someday.

We checked out of The Worthington today. We stayed 3 nights in the King Balcony Suite. I will start with the positives. Lobby bar was beautiful and had unique decor. The bar had great snacks and cocktails. Our bartender was friendly and kind to us while we waited on our room. Pali was fun and friendly. The check-in process was very disappointing and damaged our plans pretty badly. We requested a 2pm check-in (which is 1 hour early) knowing that might not happen. We needed to leave by 4pm for our event. We let the hotel know when we arrived at 1:45pm and they said they would call as soon as the room was ready. We waited and waited asking and checking back in every so often. It was 5:00pm before the suite was ready. I explained that we had a big event to change for and really needed the room by normal check in time. Management never spoke to us or acknowledged our concern once's it was almost 5pm with no room. Of course we were very late to our event. The next morning I messaged asking to chat with management, and again zero response. We were do disappointed and wish we would have known how they handled check in, so that we could have prepared for our event ahead of time. Sadly, we won't return to this hotel for this reason.

We arrived back to the hotel after attending the FWSSR hoping to have a drink with our friends before retiring for the evening . The hotel bar had ONE bartender and three servers that had zero hustle. The bar was busy but certainly not overwhelming for an experienced server / bartender. I even saw one server look at the table of 10 people sitting down in her section rolling her eyes and irritated that she had a new table to take care of. VERY bad planning on the part of the hotel management. This hotel has been in this location for YEARS and should be very aware of the traffic during the FWSSR and staff accordingly.

The staff at this hotel was amazing, super nice and very considerate. But that’s my only compliment I have. The rooms were serviceable. The chairs were uncomfortable and the footstool was too. The small gym was nice though it’s AC only worked on one side. The layout is extremely confusing and the elevators were always packed. The distance from the convention center is fine. But rather inconvenient compared to other options. The place has a style and a theme but it yields uncomfortable results. I wouldn’t go here given the better alternatives in the area. But at least the area between the hotel and the convention is packed with restaurants and nice places to be. But the other downtown hotels are plenty close enough to these places.

"I recently stayed at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel and had the pleasure of interacting with Joe, who was part of the valet team. I have to say that Joe truly went above and beyond to make my stay at the hotel exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Joe was there to greet me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. He helped me with my luggage and made sure that I knew where everything was located in the hotel. Throughout my stay, he always made himself available to answer any questions I had and provided me with excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. What impressed me the most about Joe was his attention to detail. He made sure that my car was always parked in a secure location and that it was ready for me whenever I needed it. He even took the time to clean my car's windshield after a rainy day, which was a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture that made my day. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Joe and the level of service he provided. He truly made my stay at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel unforgettable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for exceptional valet service. Thank you, Joe!"

WOW! Is the only thing I can say about my experience staying here at the Worthington Renaissance. From the time I arrived at Valet, to when I checked out of my room with the Front desk. One individual that stood out to me was the Valet manager Jonathan. The amount of effort he put forth to service my experience while staying at the hotel was AMAZING. He greeted me with a huge smile on his face while using my last name and would ask if there was anything he could assist me with each time we had an interaction when stepping out to the front of the hotel. Thank you so much for a great experience! I will definitely be back every time I am visiting Fort Worth!!

I reserved a room for my daughter and son-in-law. It was supposed to have a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates “upon arrival”. It was not there when they arrived. My daughter made three phone calls with no results. They wanted to drink the champagne before they left for dinner at 6:30 but it never arrived. When they returned at 11:00, it was there. They weren’t able to enjoy it at the hotel. They had to take it home. I expect more from a high end hotel. Very disappointed in the service…

Stayed at this hotel for business in August while temperatures reached 110 degrees in the area. My rooms AC went out and the hotel “fixed” it three times. Never once did the temperature drop inside my room. The last time they “fixed” the AC, the entire room reeked of Freon and I became dizzy and nauseous after a few hours. The front desk told me there was nothing they could do as if my situation was acceptable. I was forced to checkout at midnight for another hotel across town. Worst business travel experience to date.

I cannot recommend this hotel. Although the stay was great, they added a charge to my card without explanation. I spent over 4 hours trying to get a receipt from the front desk, their billing department call center, and the valet manager. None of them could find the charge in their system. I told them that it was likely the parking, which should have been charged to my room. Reception transferred me to Valet, who said that they have been having this problem lately with many customers and that Reception isn’t handling it like they should. The employees are not working together to resolve the issue for their customers. I don’t care whose job it is, I just need a receipt/explanation for the charge.

Disclaimer: Husband and I go to the bar for drinks and have never stayed in the hotel. BUTTT on the bar service they are very fast and efficient and such a relax place to go! It is enjoyable yet relaxing and the bartenders are amazing on getting the drinks out and very attentive to what is going on.

Close to Sundance Square! Classy upscale hotel! Decorated classy yet very modern western! Exactly what you would expect in downtown Ft Worth Texas! Perfect for a wedding or convention! If you work space, small room or ballroom ( more then one) Bar is amazing! Bartenders could make anything with the bar selection!!! Buffet is downstairs with themed events or fancy brunch! Walking distance to fine dining and light shopping. A Texas themed hotel

I was hoping for a 4 star experience but it just wasn't that. The room was pretty mediocre and room service was terrible!! They dropped off our food in a plastic bag with plastic forks and half my order was missing. My husband ordered the bone in steak and got a small flimsy watery steak (no bone) my chicken was teeny tiny and rubbery. There was nowhere to sit and eat for two people. When we order room service at hotels, they usually roll in a cart with cloth napkins etc...this was more like something you would get from Applebee's. Friendly staff but we won't ever stay here again. The price of the room did not match the amenities.

Wow! What a wonderful experience ! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and from our arrival to the food, great service and amenities— helpful staff! We were highly impressed with Kulembo who treated us like royalty when taking our luggage to our room! He is a true gem and I’m sure he will be very successful in his career. A must stay in Fort Worth!!BEST location Highly recommend

Our stay at the Renaissance was great overall. The hotel was in tip top shape and everything was readily available to us. One of the best features was the valet parking, we had one of the guys named Blaze helping us out for most of the weekend and he did an outstanding job. He was kind and very prompt at making sure our wait time was short. He even suggested a couple of restaurants for us to try out while in town.

Overall I give the place 5 stars. Not my first time at the hotel but my first time staying. I took one star off because there was a lot of noise in the room next door and the full size bed wasn't very comfortable. The service from valet to check in and out was great. Breakfast was pretty good. This will likely be our hotel of choice for future trips this year.

  • 1/5 Lisa H. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely not worth the price. At almost $400/night, my room wasn't even ready at the check-in time. I spent an hour at the bar waiting for my room. Later in the night, I tried to order room service around 1030pm, only to find the only thing on the menu was basically chips and salsa, or some version of hummus and crackers/pitas. If you want to stay in this area, I highly recommend a cheaper hotel....at least you will get what you are paying for.

Great experience, staff goes out of their way to help and make sure you have the best experience possible. Was easy to find off spur 280 coming into North Ft. Worth. Valet was more than just friendly, I got in the wrong line (left is drop off, valet to the right) he took care of me without hesitation. Overall, a fantastic place to stay! Rooms are spacious and what you expect, with mini fridge and plenty of storage. I had a single room and it was way more than needed. Plenty of coffee, tea and waters. Beds are firm but still comfy. Very clean and well maintained. Quick elevators, less than 30 sec from lobby to 11th floor. @management great job with the staff!!

The location is great and the staff is very nice, but for the price, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The beds are horrible. The room reeked of smoke. We were supposed to be in a non‐smoking room. Very disappointed. I've lived here my whole life and have never stayed here and really wanted a great date weekend with the hubs. 🥺

I just wanted to say how amazing my experience was at your hotel!! I planned a big suprise for my husband for our anniversary & it would never have been as perfect as it was without the help of your great staff. Especially Keonna & Anthony that both work at the front desk.... they are so awesome & really helped make our special anniversary memorable. Thank you so much & we will definitely be staying with you again soon🤗🥰

Stay here pretty often for work. Nice location in downtown FW near a bunch of restaurants. The concierge lounge is nice but it’s currently been closed with covid. No issues though as they allow you to have the breakfast buffet. Rooms have a nice southwest flare and the hotel restaurant is good too. All around one of my favorite hotels to stay at when I travel.

Overall this hotel is pretty great. The only issues I had were that the room itself had some holes in the ceiling which was a first for me but they were small so not that big of deal. Also when checking in I got given someone else's room key. The key issue was obviously corrected quite fast. I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area due to the proximity of good food and things to do.

It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was great. In particular, Eva, who we met in the restaurant was so sweet and accommodating. She really made the trip that much better with her sweet motherly demeanor. We will definitely come back and enjoy the Fort Worth area!!

The best property in downtown Fort Worth. High class all the way. Incredible, fast check in at the front desk with fabulous service by an obviously well trained staff. The rooms are contemporary, well decorated and very clean. Top notch! The restaurant downstairs is very expensive, but the food is really good. Same with the bar and the coffee shop. I missed out on trying weekend brunch, but I spoke with some regulars in the bar and they said it was the best in town. Really great experience!

I badly want to give 5 stars but I do have to take a full star away because the room doors are constantly slamming......😡 Not sure why hotels can't install a soft close to prevent this, but I've heard it dozens of times already in less than 24 hours and it echoes very loudly down the long hallways. Super oblivious people staying here I guess. Bring your earplugs! Otherwise, it has a beautiful lobby, friendly staff, spacious rooms which are only slightly dated, and while my sink backed up a little, the shower drained just fine. Fridge in each room (no microwave), effective HVAC system, very comfortable! Can't beat the location here, walking distance to so many restaurants and venues!

Anthony, at the front desk was AMAZING. He helped us find a better room that was quiet and away from the live music stage during the Fort Worth Arts Festival. He even moved our luggage into our new room. Thank you so much Anthony for making our weekend special! Also, shout out to Tony at Valet Parking. It was his second day on the job! He was professional , helpful, and very polite.

Day 1 and thus far it has been subpar. Loved that I could request an early check-in and was able to check-in through the app. Which I did. When I arrived to pick up my keys, because the app was not working, they needed my credit card. Apparently the front desk folks knew their credit card machine was not working and instead of directing those of us in line to manually enter the number, we were left with contacting our credit card companies to resolve their processing issue. It was only after we waited on the phone and spoke with customer service did we learn what the hotel staff knew-- the issue was the hotel's!!! Manually entering the card worked with no issues. I get to my room to learn I was given 1 key for a 2 guest booking and that key does not work!! I regret cancelling my reservation at The Sinclair to book here. Unless something changes to erase this memory, this is my last stay. That rant is over. The room is spacious. The west facing "view" is what's in the pictures. I am hopeful that next 1.5 hours will result in an improvement of this experience. We will see.

We spent 2 nights here and have to say we were fairly disappointed. When we arrived, we decided to upgrade our room to a suite to ensure our family would fit comfortably. When we got to the first room, we opened the door and to our surprise it was the original room that was booked. Had to go back down to the lobby carrying our own luggage. We were greeted by the same front desk concierge who had caught her mistake and had already had the new keys for us. They did give us a $100 breakfast credit for the inconvenience. At this point, we thought things were looking up. Once up in the new room we immediately noticed the dust all over the table, torn enamel off the built-ins, stains on the chairs and floors, and a filthy mess behind the bed. When we checked out, they asked us how our stay was. When my wife brought up the concerns, the response was “oh no, we will have someone look into that”. We didn’t let this ruin our mini vacation, but will probably not return.

We stayed at The Worthington for one night while visiting Fort Worth. From the lobby, it seemed like a pretty nice hotel. However, for a four star hotel, the rooms were average at best. For a Marriott (and the price point), this was extremely unimpressive. At check-in, we inquired about the government rate for the hotel and were told that we could apply it to our next stay but not this one… prior to even swiping the card and paying. Just overall not great customer service. In addition, the walls are paper thin - you can hear your neighbor’s conversation and every noise from the hallway. The hot water in the shower lasted for maybe a minute or two before getting cold. After returning to our room around 10pm, the whole floor reeked of marijuana and could be smelled from our room. Lastly, while moving the pillows on the bed, I felt something sharp and noticed I had a scratch on my hand that was bleeding. Upon further inspection I saw that a metal piece of the zipper was sticking out of the pillow. Very alarming - I’m glad I didn’t lay on it as it could have been much more serious. Total safety hazard. Overall, past the fancy lobby this is just an overpriced basic hotel.
