This is the worst clinic I have ever dealt with. I always have to drive to the clinic multiple times to follow up on referrals bec they never answer the phone and for years their excuse has been they are having phone issues. Staff is not very knowledgeable and they are rude, hence they always have a huge turn around with employees. Referrals when someone has cancer or any other medical condition should be done in a TIMELY MANNER but this office staff does not seem to understand this. They always claim we have to go in and see the doctor to get a referral even when we have seen a doctor from their office within 2-3 months. Our doctor was there when we were there so he could of seen us but even seeing our assigned PCP is hard to get scheduled. SO they want us to go waste 3-4 hours to be seen, just to tell the doctor that the specialist wants them to see another specialist. What a waste of their time and our time. The only helpful and knowledgeable employee they seem to have is the Nurse station Manager, Mr. Castillo, he ALWAYS gets things taken care off but I'm he's tired of seeing me every time I need something, Even prescriptions don't get sent to the pharmacy so there I went driving back to their office bec the RX was not received at the pharmacy from 7 hours earlier. Just horrible service, hours are convenient but the headaches to get things done are not.

Staffs are friendly and nice to patients. But the waiting time is too long. 4hours of waiting for just a regular check up. 🤦🏻‍♀️ and not a lot of patients at the moment either.

Went in with a lot of pain, the receptionist kept telling me he needed to talk to someone from my chain of command to see if they could cover my treatment before letting me get checked. We said that we would pay out of pocket to hurry the process and get me checked and he proceeded to say that the wait would be 3-4 hours even though they closed in 2 hours. Had absolutely no consideration for the amount of pain I was going through. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE THEY DO NOT CARE

Unprofessional, disorganized, and impolite. As licensed doctors and nurses, please remember you owe a fiduciary duty to your patient and should put your patient's interest in the first place. You should carefully read and thoroughly assess your patient's medical record before making any medical recommendations and decisions. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of your professional license. Please also remember discrimination on the basis of national origin is not only morally unacceptable, but also violates the Title II of the Civil Rights Act.

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to! I have been here multiple times because my friend recommended the pediatrician Dr. Forsythe. She’s amazing with my son, but the rest of the clinic is horrible! Every department makes huge mistakes. We’ll start with the fact that they never answer their phone or return any phone calls; which is ridiculous, especially when you’ve taken lab work and need your results. Make excuses to not answer the phone, yet when my wife and I go, we see them on their phone and wasting their time joking around with each other. There is a nurse practitioner who’s always in a bad mood and makes you not even want to ask any questions. It took them over 5 months to return my money that was owed due to a health insurance issue. Every time I would ask for my money they would say they’re working on it and someone would call me back, which of course they never did. I had to go in person 5-6 times just for them to finally listen. The pharmacy messed up my sons prescription dosage and he’s 5 months!!! We’re definitely changing clinics after the incorrect dosage with my son!

Had an appointment and was running 5 min late try calling 3 times to let them know but nobody answered. When I arrived the front desk lady was really rude and didn’t let us in to our appointment. Lost a day of work and had a bad experience. Now I’m trying to call to ask a question and still nobody answers the phone.

2-3 hour waits. Understaffed weekends and Overstaffed during the week with still long waiting periods. Rude receptionists, rude male nurse with glasses who has a laptop, rude nurses who dont know how to take vitals nor ask questions properly. Doctors who dont explain any of the exams they just send someone from the lab to do them BEFORE they even see one! How does that work?! Avoid this clinic, reported it to state. Waste of time and MONEY!

I have been going to HCC for about 2 years now for my primary needs. There are a few bugs in their system such as getting the accounting dept to return calls as well as the appointment dept. In the past it has been difficult in getting a referral sent, however lately I do believe this issue has been resolved. My physician, Dr Ibarra, has always been quite concerned about all my health issues. He offers solutions and promptly handles any necessary follow-up. I have also been impressed with the active role taken by the personnel who work at the nurses station, particularly Diana Mata. Ms Mata assisted me with a serious issue I was/ am having and has gone beyond what I'm sure her job description requires. Overall I have been satisfied with HCC and have witnessed improvement in all areas. I will continue to use them for my primary care.

Currently switching from using them as our OB. Doctor O doesn’t describe medical tests, consider patient stress, explain procedures, etc. We’ve also had two separate instances where we’ve driven 40 minutes for an appointment and then the appointment didn’t happen due to issues on their side. Very poor overall.

I’ve been to this clinic for many years but never encounter such nice ladies at the front desk. Good job Front Desk Jennifer P and Daniella G. The nurse who took my vitals Mrs. Rosie G has been with the clinic for more than 10 years and she is lovely and a pro in doing her job. Dr. Aurelio Ibarra can be very well the star doctor for the clinic. He patiently listens and consults with me on all the plans for my health care. Finally, Angelica explained to me how to save money with my health plan. The best visit ever in a long time. Good job guys! I’m looking forward to seeing you again!

My kids go to healthcare clinics on Ross Ave. Their doctor Ms. Gutierrez is wonderful, I love her. My son had an issue with his foot bring super itchy for two years, he saw 3 doctors, 2 specialist and different topical meds. She looked at it the first time she met him and prescribed him an oral antibiotic and it was gone. She is always very attentive and helpful. My kids and I adore her. We’ve been going there for almost 8 years and it’s rare that we have had an issue there or with any staff member.

Do not go to this place. Every time I have an APPOINTMENT I wait some times up to 3 hrs.. ever since Dr. Richmond passed away from COVID it has gone down hill. It couldn’t be any worse than it is now. Rock bottom. The doctors are seeing people every 10 min. and they don’t listen or really care.

I have been calling Alysha leaving messages without any response my Husb. got charged for some testing that he never got and they sched. him to go and receive results charging him for a visit with a Nurse practioner who just gave him the results without a medical plan so when I go up there and tell them why is he getting a charge the guy at the front desk said that whoever scheduled him should of known better so my husb. had to go back to see the Dr. and get charge which makes no sense. Horrible service. They never answer the phone.

The entire staff was so patient and understanding when my son when he was having a hard time in the doctors office. They were extremely patient and communicated thoroughly with us. They encouraged him and helped him. They also were so warm to my daughter while we were there. They quickly learned both of my children’s names and addressed them with so much kindness. The front office gentleman was so patient and kind with us while filling out paperwork. I rarely write reviews. But my experience was so great with everyone there that I had to write a review this time!

A majority of people complain about wait time, but it's literally a clinic and they use medicaid or similar insurances. If their wait time bothers you, go to Baylor or a different clinic enjoy similar wait times AND be unable to use your insurance 😉

They will never call you back, ever. Went in for routine physical with lab work with both the primary care giver and the gynecologist and never heard back from them. I called repeatedly over the next month, no one ever answered the phone so I left voicemails with contact information and was never called back. I checked my lab results online and noticed that I had been diagnosed with Hepatitis A, which is contagious so I scheduled an appointment since I couldn't get ahold of anyone in the office and they were obviously never going to call me back. Of course they charged me for an additional visit. I ended up having to talk to a completely different doctor who determined that I tested positive for Hep A because I had been very recently inoculated, but Healthcare Clinics wouldn't have known that at the time of the test and lab results because I hadn't told them as I was unaware that inoculation would cause you to test positive. They seriously couldn't even be bothered to tell me that I had tested positive for a contagious virus. I work with immunocompromised members of the public and if I had in fact been sick with Hep A, I could have made any number of them sick due to the incompetency of this clinic. On top of that the older woman at the front desk had the audacity to act like "being understaffed" is a justified reason to never tell a person that they are possibly carrying a contagious sickness that could have endangered other people. I empathize with them for likely being understaffed and overworked but call your patients back.

i don't ever want to come back here, i took my daughter because she had fever like super hot and she was drowsy and when i got there as every mother goes through this her temperature lower down to 98.9 and the nurse said my daughter doesn't have fever how is it that i clearly told them it goes away but comes back and they want to prescribe always with Tylenol, the doctors should know by now Tylenol is bad for all kids. i don't recommend y'all waisting time on having your children being seen by a total useless employees.
