I
decided
to
stop
by
to
get
some
boba
tea
here
yesterday
as
it
had
been
a
while
since
I've
had
it.
Service
was
terrible.
The
2
servers
(a
young
black
man
and
a
hijabi
girl)
were
too
busy
having
a
chit
chat
to
even
notice
or
hear
me
when
I
was
trying
to
ge
their
attention.
Because
they
hadn't
heard
me
at
first,
I
didn't
really
mind
because
there
were
no
customers
and
it
was
prolly
quite
boring.
But
as
I
was
checking
the
menu
and
asking
questions
regarding
my
order,
I
kept
having
to
'interupt'
her
conversation
with
the
other
server
which
made
me
feel
reluctant
to
ask
further
questions.
They
were
conversating
quite
loudly
about
'being
unloyal
to
their
partners'
which
is
highly
inappropriate
to
discuss
while
serving
a
customer
and
very
unprofessional.
I
don't
usually
write
reviews,
nor
do
I
complain
cos
I
ain't
a
Karen,
but
no
customer
should
feel
like
they're
causing
disruption
or
interfering
by
simply
making
an
order.
Onto
the
drink,
when
ordering
I
had
told
the
female
server
that
i
would
like
to
have
a
brown
sugar
milk
tea
with
tapioca
pearls.
After
making
me
pay,
she
had
then
told
me
that
there
was
very
little
tapioca
pearls
left.
When
asking
me
if
I'd
like
my
drink
warm
or
cold,
I
had
requested
my
drink
to
be
warm.
It
was
served
cold.
The
tea
had
also
been
so
overfilled
that
when
I
had
peirced
the
straw
through,
the
milk
went
all
over
me.
I
guess
they
were
too
busy
talking
about
their
personal
lives
than
to
pay
attention
the
drink
they
were
making.
The
purpose
of
this
review
isn't
to
give
this
shop
a
bad
rep
nor
the
servers.
It's
just
clear
that
their
customer
service
isn't
good,
as
seen
in
the
other
reviews.
As
a
student,
these
treats
are
usually
rare
for
me
due
to
the
high
prices.
So
having
this
sort
of
experience
does
make
me
feel
hesitant
to
come
back.
I
understand
that
it
can
be
a
little
boring
when
the
shop
is
empty,
but
the
customer
shouldn't
have
to
deal
with
the
consequences
