Our family of 5 enjoyed a tasty dinner here on a Friday night. At around 6:30, it wasn't too crowded and the wait for food was not long at all. Our server was attentive and helpful and we all had plenty to eat. I highly recommend the corn fritters as an appetizer. They're a little more expensive than other places, but you get a LOT of them for the price. Also - make sure to try the sweet sauce as it was the favorite among our group. All in all, a good meal for a reasonable price.

Yummy. Good ribs were excellent service was friendly and the restaurant is clean bright. I had the best intentions of taking a picture, but when the food arrived, I didn’t take the time the sweet potatoes was perfect, and the green beans were excellent, toast was even good. Must come back.👍 I want.

Overall eating experience was good to very good. The waitress had good suggestions and our food came quickly and was served hot. Portion and flavor of the food were both quite good and the price relevant to the quantity of food served was adequate. I will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. One complaint.. the restaurant was too cold. One customer actually went out to his vehicle to get a light jacket to wear inside the restaurant.

Perfectly friendly staff and amazing ribs. Fall off the bone sweet tender goodness. This place has got it down pat. Love all the amazing sides and BBQ sauce flavors. Mix em up to make your own personal flavor. Um-um finger likin' good. Oh and they also serve a flounder meal that will keep you coming back for more.

It was extremely busy when we arrived at this restaurant. But they got us in super fast and were so accommodating to our large party with a baby and a toddler. Food was absolutely amazing! Really enjoyed everything and our waitress was very attentive. Food also arrived very quickly. Definitely worth a visit!

Almost always perfect or very close. Ribs were perfect. Sweet potatoes yum, and I got a surprise when I lifted my ribs up with my fork. I found a bunch of extra fried okra! Bonus! Staff is always amazing here!

Solid BBQ. Nice place but not fancy. Appropriately priced. I would rate the food slightly better than most. Our server (Kate) was fantastic. I would go back again and would encourage anyone who has not been to check it out.

The usual Delicious baby back ribs. Oakwood offers a wide array of sides. I only wish they'd offer St. Louis style ribs. As previously mentioned, Delicious. Very attentive staff, too!

We love the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant, but we're a bit disappointed by the high cost of drafts and a pitcher of beer. We would have liked to share a pitcher of beer but thought 16.00 for a pitcher was way to much. Great ribs😊

This was our first time there and it was a great experience. Our server was on the mark and friendly as well as helpful in answering questions. Everything was clean and well organized and our food came out quickly. The dishes my wife and I had we're both tasty and plentiful. To add to our amazement they actually give you an extremely large glass of whatever you are drinking. We will definitely be going back to try something else on the menu!

Michelle was our server.. She was awesome. Super friendly and attentive. I had the salad and potato soup special. The salad had egg and cheese on it and was huge. My husband had the sliced beef plate with 2 sides. He chose green beans and a corn dish. He loved his meal but didn't care for the corn since it was cold. I thought it was delicious and added it to my salad. Michelle gave me a to go cup for my soda when I went to the bathroom...that was so sweet. There were so many items on the item that I would try. There were 3 officers having lunch so you know the food has to be great!

We chose Oakwood smokehouse to provide the catering food for our sports event. From the very beginning, Eric made the ordering process clear and concise and very simple. We ordered the chicken, pulled pork, and sliced beef for meats. Roasted potatoes, Mac and cheese and baked beans for the sides. I gave the time I needed it to be ready for pick up, and realized at the time of actual pickup that it was very well packed, identified easily, and with the necessary eating and serving utensils. The whole process of ordering, pickup, and the quality of the food we received was exceptional! Thank you Eric and team for the great experience we had for our event! I will definitely be using them again for our events to be catered!

Mac n cheese was trash! The lima beans, greens and green beans are delicious tho! Ribs were pretty good, flounder was a delight. Pulled pork sandwich doesn't disappoint (just add one of their tasty sauces. Overall, yummy and affordable.

They have a glass partition so you can see what's going on in the kitchen. The food portions are good, the sides are delicious (whole sweet potato with cinnamon butter, brisket green beans, Mac n cheese), and the different sauces are on the table. Servers are very nice and helpful. We're planning to go back soon.

Ohhhhh man worth a stop, on vacation and met her at my mom's friends recommendation and so so so good. Shrimp was crispy and awesome, Mac was to die for, fresh fries, just ugh so good. ONLY note is the green beans were like overbrined? Just too much vinegar but that may be a personal thing and the rest of the food/service was amazing
