    Do not go to this location! The Winter Park location is much friendlier and has much better customer serviceā€¦. This location is in a tourist area and they donā€™t care about their local customers because they assume that no one will come back. Terrible customer service, rude staff that wonā€™t talk to you unless they know you are buying something. When I first walked in, I was immediately impressed by the number of guitars they had in stock and out on display and the different amps that were available on the floor to try out all the guitars until I went to actually plug in. They only let you use the incredibly short cables that are only able to plug into maybe 3 or 4 of the amps because they are attached to the platform the amps sit on. Then things got worse. I came to this store specifically to play a specific guitar, when I asked someone if they had it and if I could try it, they said they didnā€™t and that they could order one. AS SOON AS I SAID I JUST CAME IN TO CHECK IT OUT I was ignored with all my other questions, instead repeatedly asked if I would order that guitar. The shop wasnā€™t even busy and the limited staff they had was more concerned with anyone else they may come in other than the people there that might have actually bought something if the staff wasnā€™t so rude. Iā€™m here a second time and have been in the store for about 30 minutes waiting for an associate yet there seem to be none here. Multiple customers are waiting to pay and there is no one to check them out and I havenā€™t even been greeted since Iā€™ve been here. I will definitely not be coming back to this location to purchase anything ā€¦. Not like I could even if I wanted to, there is no one to sell me anything. This is disappointing

    Awful Guitar Center unit. The store is messy, with few employees which are not very willing to help. Iā€™ve been there at the Labor Dayā€™s Offer and there are few sale products - and some of them with the prices which does not match. Definitely not worth the visit. Friendly clue for tourists at the Theme Park area: please take some time and go to the Winter Park Guitar Center. Waaaaay better than this one.

    This place SUCKS for lessons! very unprofessional, not organized, seem like they don't know what they're doing. Twice they let me down with teachers. One teacher (Diego) is very unprofessional. He addressed my son as "boy" instead of addressing him by his name. He's very inpatient with teaching piano, expects student to understand first try. I changed teachers for my son and was blessed to have Rafael but unfortunately because of the one in charge, Jose, I had to cancel my son's lessons for good. They will still charge you if you miss a class, will not prorate or anything. BUT if he makes a mistake like not letting you know ahead of time that the teacher was not coming in that day, he expects you to be ok with the fact that you just wasted GAS and TIME to get to the place for nothing.The commiunication is very ghetto nothing explained, just want your money. I DO NOT recommend for lessons!!!

    Seems that retail is hard. My son and I drove 58 miles, spent over a 1/2 hour in store without ever getting greeted. There were staff, and they were busy so I guess it was an understaffing issue. We were going to purchase guitar gear. Very few items had pricing on them other than the guitars themselves. We drove back home and purchased everything we needed from a small local shop.

    6/29/22ā€”-I went to this store to possibly sell my fender jazz bass. I used this store b4 and dealt with Nelson who was greatā€” heā€™s no longer there however they in me have a customer for life. Iā€™m old (lol ) so Iā€™m so so sorry I donā€™t remember the names of the 2 guys that helped me but their customer service ( they were short staffed & very busy) was Outstanding and the man was straight up and HONEST( a quality so hard to find today). Thank you thank you.

    Although I wrote a bad review in the past, I decided to give this store another try and Ryan redeemed my last Guitar Center experience. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Needless to say, I appreciate it and will not hesitate to come back for all my music/ instrument needs! 5 stars across the board for excellent customer service!

    Poot Service!! And thatā€™s a lot!!! Horrible experience with my two kids! We claim the for lessons we did pay and they suspended for some management reason. They said they will add those lessons And obviously never happens. The costumer services itā€™s bad. I pick one stars because I need to pick something but thatā€™s already too much.

    This place has an autopay that is not advertised, so when I thought that I only payed for 4 lessons I ended up charged for more without knowing until I saw it in my bank account. When I called the store manager, Molly, told me that I should have known it renews and that it's my fault, not giving me a refund for classes I did not attend. Cancelling autopay is also not easy and I'm in the process of having my bank close the hose on these people. They are extremely greedy! The lessons were also not great as my 30m classes were often spent with the person being late and talking about politics. Do not come here! And the customer service is terrible!!

    If I could rate this store 0 stars I would. I bought a guitar and 1 set of classes for each of my 2 kids, I tried to schedule the classes by phone and by coming to the store in person without any success on several occasions, or the person in charge was not there, or the teacher was not there, or very late, or very early. They charged me for the classes for the 2nd time in autopay without even being able to schedule the first classes. The store supervisor had no intention of making up for her lack of organization!!!

    Bad customer service, was told to cancel on last day of this month's drum lessons so it would not mess up the rest of this month's lessons. Tried to be reasonable but was charged for the next month's lessons before I could cancel, we are gong on vacation for two months. General manager, Molly Hall, says she understands, but really I don't think she cares if my bills are short this month. Don't believe anything these people say. 32 year Army Veteran disappointed in our civilian population and their ability to even care about good customer service. Why all the sudden they charge me $105 for June Drum Lessons 4 days before the end of the month of May when all the other months I was charged after the 1st of each month? Blake the Drum teacher is definitely a 5 star professional. Received email on 5 June 2022 from TheĀ GuitarĀ CenterĀ Company It has been 8 days and no response from the Guitar Center on Orange Blossom trail, of course I wouldn't expect to here from them considering it was the Store manager herself that could not address my issue about stopping my payment while my family and I go on vacation for two months. If my payment for June would have been like all the rest, after the first then on the 28th of May my daughter's last lesson for that month I could have sent email requesting stop payment, I would have had no issue and when I returned I would have began my daughter's Drum lessons, because she really enjoys learning with Blake. As a retired Army Veteran, I cannot just sit around and do nothing about a problem that I see.

    this is the worst guitar center ever. rude and slow moving employees and slow delivery times. my phone shouldn't be taken out of my hand without permission by an employee ever and when my equipment arrives at the store i expect to be able to pick it up same day not days after. i will never purchase another thing from guitar center ever again.

    Service is terrible. So I went home and ordered online. 2 weeks later, I call and ask why my order has not shipped, they tell me they are waiting on the Orlando store to ship it. Great. Screwed twice by this location. Called 3 times today and no answer. Guitar Center just lost my business.

    Fix your hours on google. I called around 10:35 AM to ask a question and instead of answering a very simple question the gentlemen said call back when we open. I informed him the hours are not accurate listed on google and he continued to say call back when we open. Will not call back, and certainly not visit with the poor quality service shown here.

    I bought a piano on the 18th of May and it was supposed to come with a bench and it didnt I called customer service a few days after and they haven't done anything about it and it is now almost july and still haven't gotten a bench I also didnt get a power cord and they were able to send that so why cant they send a bench I am very disappointed with them I am going to be returning it and getting a new one hopefully it comes with a bench and a power cord this time.

    Molly and the gang are EXCEPTIONAL! I'd drive out of my way--right past the Winter Park location--for their service anyday. I get it, now, why they are always packed and busy there. They treat people well, know their stuff, make great recommendations and provide superior service to any music store (Guitar Center/Sam Ash/etc.) I have ever been to (and ive been playing guitar 19 yrs). The Winter Park horror story is too long to tell but Orange Blossom's team made it right *and* even better. 10 out of 10.

    Guitar Center is another one of those places which are short staffed! You cannot go into the guitar Center near me and be there less than an hour and a half. Everybody that works there passes you off on to someone else. They also say, "Well I don't really work over here but I'll try to help you out and then someone else comes and talks to them and he walks away. I kept seeing this older gentleman with white hair and facial hair with glasses really on the move around the store. I was trying to purchase a drum shield. While there for at least an hour, that gentleman that was moving swiftly around the store, stopped and I asked me what I needed. I told him what I needed, mind you, no one else could seem to find it. They walked to the back and came back with nothing. This gentleman not only found it and brought it out to me, he rang it up and took it to my truck! This is a seasoned sales rep with the customer in mind! I wish I knew his name!

    Never going back to this location. Went in to sell a guitar knowing full well how much I should be getting only for employee Bailey or Buddy (canā€™t remember their name) to try ripping me off by almost $200. I know how the selling and buying back works so I went to another store where I was given the correct amount without me telling them how much I was looking for. Shout out to the employee who helped me at the Winter Park location. Thank you for being honest. Stay away from Orange Blossom store.

    Called in to ask about a warranty. The manager I spoke to was great and very helpful. The first employee I spoke to interrupted every single sentence I spoke, including answers to questions he had asked me. I was on the phone with him for about 2 minutes and he interrupted me six or seven times. I understand being busy, but having worked in the service industry myself I know that there is no reason for that rudeness.

    Purchased a new Nord Stage 3 online because it was ā€œavailableā€ but when I got to the store the only one in stock was the floor model. Make sure you call the store to confirm what youā€™re buying and what they are willing to do for you in the event you are buying a floor model. In my case, a discount wasnā€™t available and Iā€™m still trying to figure out how they are going to source the multiple items without me having to shell out another $7k. I had to call the 800 number only to find more complications because I purchased other items that would not be available at the nearest store, requiring me to return my existing order which would place a delay in when those funds would actually be credited back to my account. What started out as a quick purchase has now turned into a disappointing experience. It's unfortunate that this review reflects on the local store. I'm mainly concerned about how the online system allowed me to select this store as having an item in stock but there was no indication that the item was going to be an open box item that was on the floor. There should be a distinction made online to better inform the buyer of what they'd be getting. It's also unfortunate that the store is getting a bad review for processes beyond their control regarding the systems and processes in place for in-store pickup. They were not able to assist me unless I was willing to take the open/used item (without the original packaging). They could have offered a discount but given the item's popularity, I understand why they didn't especially since they are not incentivized to do so. This poor review is really meant for the overall process which started online.

    went today and was extremely disappointed, first off they literally only have one person working there and they stand behind the counter youā€™re stuck fending for yourself, the acoustic electric selection was subpar, just not taken care of the display was a mess some guitars had price tags Sunday not, some had all their strings some did not, this place was like a Third World country. Ended up going across town to Sam Ash music and had a much better experience and purchased my guitar over there. To be fair the electric selection was very well put together, I just wasnā€™t the mission today.

    Do not go here to sell used equipment. You are better off going to a pawnshop. I called them prior to coming out 35 minutes away from my house to see if they would offer me more than a pawn shop and they said that they absolutely would Because they offer 60% of what it's worth and they only offered 60% of what their used the value is and my machine is brand new only used about 6 times with not one scratch on it, they actually offered me less than the pawn shop. They only offer you about a 3rd of what the equipment is worth. Don't waste your time sell it on Facebook or online.

    Customer service here is horrible. They are so short with the customers. They don't want to spend an extra minute to explain things to you or give you options. It's pretty sad since we shopped at Guitar Center since my children were little kids and now they are adults. Will never step my foot back into this store. Just know that if you come to this location, you will have to make sure to ask them every detail of everything you purchase because they will not be there for you if you have issues with their products. They tend to wash their hands of you right after they've gotten your money. Bad business.

    Been shopping in this store since 2009 when vacationing in Orlando with no issues at all. Last time I was here was back in 2018 and the service was acceptable but seems like they are now under staffed and the place is a mess. Went today to buy a Les Paul standard ($2,799 value) and waited for 45 minutes. No one greeted me or helped me. I only saw two employees running around the store. After 45 minutes I had enough and left.

    The drum section in this place is a mess, cramped, neglected and honestly just a hazard at this point. Itā€™s the most disorganized percussion section in the city out of all the music stores. People are walking over and on top of things. There are literal obstacles to climb over. Most of the drum hardware is all on the top shelf near the ceiling too so nothing is reachable and they had the audacity to price everything while itā€™s up there. WE CANNOT READ THE TAGS. NOBODY IS THERE TO HELP. Nobody will even acknowledge or pay attention to you if you need to do something as simple as purchase a cymbal stand here. It is so extremely frustrating and disappointing going to this one particular Guitar Center when these places are supposed to leave people elated and wanting to come back for more.

    Tony is not a good worker. Rude, unprofessional and overall not a good person. ALSO, I had card issues OUT THE WAZOO. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU PLAN TO PAY WITH A DEBIT CARD OR A DIGITAL WALLET. Also, never do order pickups through their site. They hold your money and cancel your order.

    Awesome store. Lots of variety. The staff is helpful and redirect you to the deals. You can try all the guitars you want and when you purchase they give you one from the storage. 2 days after my purchase (guitar + case), I decided a gigbag would fit better so I went back and made the trade without a hassle, and even got a refund for the price difference. Congratulations keep it up. My guitar arrived perfectly in Colombia with me. Rock on.

    Great variety of guitars at this location. Giving it 4 stars because there is basically no negotiation at this store. They donā€™t bother in trying to make their customers happy by being mutually beneficial. Iā€™ve attempted making deals with them on multiple occasions and not one single time has it been successful at this location. And every other guitar center Iā€™ve been at has made this process a breeze.

    Purchased a strap for my guitar and two booklets for learning. No one asked to assist me and I stood at the register for quite some time before being able to pay. Maybe need more personnnel. They had a few beginner books but for my mind not enough selection for a first timer. Do we really have to shop online for everything?

    I didnā€™t think the person who helped me really understood what he was selling me, and ended up selling me a bigger guitar than I requested for my 8 year old, and then the bag and stand I also bought didnā€™t fit. Wasnā€™t too big of a deal, but kind of annoying having to drive out there a second time for something they should have known.

    I found a used guitar at this location that I was interested in so I gave this store a call to ask what shape the guitar was in, what pickups were in it and if they could move on the price at all (the store did not have many close-up pictures). The individual I talked to told me the guitar was "pretty much in new condition" and they couldn't move the price. The next day I called and told them I called the previous day and that I'd like to purchase the instrument. I was told they were very busy and they'd call me back. After a few hours went by without hearing from them, I decided I'd just buy it from their website. When the guitar arrived, the back of neck had a series of six dents where it looks like the someone dropped it on top of another guitar's fretboard. The listing also said it came with a bag, which I didn't receive. I called customer service who gave me a small refund for the damage to the neck. They called the store and asked about the bag and told me to call the store the following day because they didn't have anyone to find the bag. I called the next day and talked to the store manager who said they'd find one and ship it out. It's been a few weeks now and I haven't heard or received anything from them.

    I went almost at closing time. I was walking around when someone from the staff asked us if we were going to buy something. We said no. We are just watching. Immediately after, we were told to come back the next day in a very unpleasant way. We felt really uncomfortable. My wife does not want to go back any more.
