This place is a rip-off. I like to support small businesses. I understand that prices have gone up because of the pandemic. However, the majority of their clients are minority hard working people who choose this place believing they will receive a humble experience. Instead, they are charged double the price for all their water down drinks and food that is not edible. People are not expecting to go to a corner bar and pay double the price of a high-end restaurant serving high-end food and mixed drinks. They may be a minority-owned business, but they don’t consider the community they are serving. Thankfully, there are other small businesses providing services with their customers in mind. If you want to come here for the music, make sure you eat and have your drinks someplace else! And the bartenders are all rude with zero experience in hospitality!

We were craving GOOD Puerto Rican food we had just came back from visiting family in Puerto Rico. We fell in love with the food on the island, Puerto Rico has the BEST FOOD! At Benny's Mary took good care of us, we all got the yellow rice with pigion peas, plaintains, chicken with red sauce. It was all delicious! Rice cooked perfect, chicken tender, the plantains better then what we had on the island! Our boy was thrilled to play the arcade game and I adored watching my loves play pool. The place is beautiful, clean and modern...it smelled good and fresh even in  the bathroom. Best long Islands we ever had!!! Private parking lot in back with police station literally right next door. Safe for my family. Worth the price and worth any wait. It takes money & time to make good qaulity things....Island time. Our visit was on a Thursday @ 6pm. We will definitely be back 💕

Bennys is unassuming but the food is fire! Mary is a fantastic bartender and takes great care of clients. I got the papa rellena and carne frita and both were BOMB. Strong recommend for Puerto Rican cuisine.

Don't go anywhere else for PR food - GO HERE. Served hot and fresh. We drove 3hrs to come here. And the food was absolutely worth it. The food, the people, the music, the environment all were 5 stars. We tried a couple PR places in the area and this place is where it's at. Their food is so good you feel like you're in Puerto Rico sitting in Abuela's kitchen. Benny! Don't change a thing. Except maybe opening a Dayton location lol. Because there's nothing even close to what you have here. We'll definitely be back 🥰

Came in on a Friday evening with my family and had a great time! Played a little pool with the kids and jammed to some music while waiting for the food. Staff is VERY helpful and friendly. The food is beyond AMAZING!!! Definitely will be back again!

Do you believe in love at first bite?! Because I do. My friend and I stopped today at Bennys because I heard a LOTTTT about their Empandaillas. Bennys opens at 5 pm we were there at 5.15 pm sharp. We ordered chicken and beef empanadillas, arroz con gandules y tostones, sandwich de jamon y queso and more tostones for home because there was no more room in our belly. I have never ate such good food in my life. You taste love and the care that the chef is putting into all the delicious meals. The service was amazing. The bartender was amazing and such a great time. She recommended us items on the menu and more food that we will be back to try. She was also surprised to see how much we could eat .. but like it’s not my fault they cook so good. Today I really had one of my happiest day because I ate such great food . I will be back to eat more!

Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The owner introduce Himself to everyone personally. He loved our energy and asked that we bring more people with the same energy. The food was great! The entire place including the restrooms we're clean. I have already told my family that this must be included as a hang out place for us. Enjoyed the food especially the pork.

I've never been more bored in a bar. I'm surprised they charged $5 just to enter when all it is is cheap party lights and expensive drinks. The DJ wasn't any good either.

Benny's is a hoppin joint. We had our fantasy football draft here. It was awesome surrounded by all the big TVs. And then the karaoke started! Great times

Well last Friday I took my girlfriend to Benny's because I had been there to eat before. But when I got the menu the bartender who took my order she didn't select what I wanted to eat. So since my girlfriend was ready to leave to go on a cruise I just took the food. When I started to eat it it was not good. The steak was hard to hew and swallow the onions were still crunchy and all together I was unsatisfied. So I called the bar and spoke to Ricky the manager. He told me to bring it back. When I got off the boat later that evening I took the food back only to have Ricky insult me and tell me to just eat it anyway. 🙃 Unbelievable.

Calm atmosphere. The music was okay and the drinks were a bit on the pricy side. We went on a Friday night and it was not what we expected but definitely chill.

Wow I came to a private event here and was blown away. Not only is this place beautiful inside the owner makes all feel so welcome. The best part for me was the empanaillas AMAZING. cant wait to come back

It good place to hang out but don't expect great mix drink and some reviews are right. I did spend $$$ plus tips for water down drinks. Even when you see it being served , its already water down.The music is great, it great to hang out . Bring your own bottle, or buy bottle or can but do not buy mixs drinks. They are NOT WORTH IT! Don't come at me, it's my honest experiences!

Please do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant bar! Celebrated my mother's retirement party at Benny's and I honestly couldn't think of a better place! First, literally the cleanest bar I've ever been to...like ever! Super CLEAN! Perfect space and atmosphere for our family and friends to eat, drink, relax and laugh. Highly recommend! If you're thinking of booking...BOOK BENNY'S!!! Literally had guests complimenting all night. We loved the place. The service is unmatched! The owner truly cares about your experience. A lifetime memory was made and I'm so glad it was at Benny's!

Had dinner there back in November, 2022 and all the food was the best I had in years! The customer service provided by the bartender was spectacular! Had spicy Latin rice, empanadas, and french fries. Everything was served on-time and hot. This establishment has always been very clean, professional, and organized every time that I've ever came here and this visit was no different. I highly recommend eating or drinking here. I would be proud to bring a date here, rather than some overcrowded, overpriced, dirty, fake-steak house!

I have to say as a visitor from outside the country I haven't felt so welcome to a place in a long time. The waitress Mary and the owner Joe thank you for welcoming us to cleavland.
