First time trying this restaurant and I’m glad that I did! For starters it’s in a great location in the heart of downtown Cleveland. A perfect place to catch the vibes on the water as well with there outdoor seating. Our server was great in helping me make a tasty food selection and also catering to my food allergies. I ordered the salmon salad and the walleye with fries. 10/10

A beautiful gem in Cleveland and the metroparks has done a great job. The big pretzel appetizer is always a fan favorite and a great shareable for the table.

Merwin's Wharf is an excellent Restaurant located right on the Cuyahoga River. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. The food is wonderful and the service is great. There is plenty of seating inside and a gorgeous and large outdoor patio. This restaurant is located in a park owned by the Metroparks, so it is meticulously maintained. Bravo!

Super cute place, especially with the winter market! The winter menu was a little limited, but there was pretty much something for everyone and the tater tots were really crunchy. The fish sandwich, giant pretzel, and peanut butter brownie was great as well!

Limited menu but the food is good and the service is great. There is plenty of parking. The food is brought out quick and hot. Dorothy is an excellent bartender. She has a wonderful sense of humor.

Tried to get a dinner reservation in an igloo months ago for this weekend and had to settle for Brunch instead. However, it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Our server Edith was wonderful and served us well! Thank you for a great time in the sunshine!

Great food which surprised me for a place run by the Metroparks. Maybe I underestimated them but wow it was really good. The atmosphere and setting were awesome. Such a nice place in the water and the occasional giant barge being pulled by rug boats is cool too.

Well, we previously have had “satisfactory” service and food at Merwins Wharf. But craving that BIG pretzel took us for another try and so glad it did. Pleasant hostess and are server was perfect ! What a huge difference from our last miserable and terribly rude server. The food was was a huge difference. Beautifully platted, and we were all very pleased with our orders. All were delicious and perfectly made and flavorful. Heirloom Tomato Salad, Crab Cakes w/ fennel slaw, Carnitas Tacos & Shrimp Tacos. And again the 1.5lb soft pretzel 🥨 to start.

Today's special Short Rib Melt with spicy coleslaw was delicious! Had a reunion there and really enjoyed the food and service. Also it was right next to the river which created a feeling of being at a far away place. There is a parking right in front of the restaurant (seemed to be part of metroparks), which was super convenient. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was that the sun was right in my eye and also there was a reflection of the light on the water, creating slight discomfort (and forced me to wear a hat indoors. Wished I had sunglasses). But loved how there was an opportunity to dine indoors or outdoors (my friends and I dined indoors for this visit because the weather was chilly). Would recommend and come back 😊.

A hidden Diamond in the flats. We had dinner in the igloo next to the river. Sherry was EXCELLENT, KIND, AND A BEAUTIFUL SOUL!!! Appetizer and meals were fresh and hot. Definitely gourmet seafood at it's best for a decent price. You must try it. 😊😋

Atmosphere was incredible, food and drink very good. Service is much needed to be desired. Our waitress made it abundantly clear that she would rather be anywhere but there.

We enjoyed lunch outside on the patio. My wife enjoyed a Bloody Mary with all kinds of skewered goodies included. We had a delicious lunch and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly and was delicious! We can't wait to go back!

Located along the Cuyahoga River and on the Goodtime III route, Merwin’s Wharf has a nice riverfront location and is next to the Metroparks and the kayak launch area. It has a limited menu selection (their Walleye sandwich is pictured) and middling food quality but compensates with its spacious outside deck on the river with great views. #pmhthelife

The atmosphere was very warm. Friendly faces all around. I like the fact you can ask for free ice since our drinks got warm. There could be more seating on the grass but it's doable. Restaurants in the background were very busy. Not a very diverse group of people. A lot of civilians work for companies to sign petitions--- slightly annoying, but they are friendly---. I will be making this a regular spot.

I've eaten here years ago and it was good. I didn't eat here yesterday though...we used the boat launch to put in our kayaks. Perfect spot to put-in kayaks and to paddle over to the flats and/or head over to nautica and enjoy whatever band is playing that evening. I recommend this chill spot for sure for anyone that likes the water. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding - simply the best. I was pleasantly surprised at everything this place to offer. Great view of the river, nice and clean, and friendly staff. The food was over the top good. I had fish and the spicy slaw. You have to try the slaw. You HAVE to try this place!

Clean restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, and nice atmosphere. The only downside is a limited menu.

Our waiter Yesterday was awesome. The location and scenery right on the water is unbeatable. Very awesome scene going on here with great people and even the dogs are welcomed. Cant beat this place!!! A place to truly kick back, smile and enjoy life w/ loved ones. Blue Moons on the outdoor patio! My GF LOVED this place!! 100% highly recommended! Wish they weren’t temporarily closing.

A place to try fresh water Walleye fish either in the fish sandwich, or as fish and chips. Absolutely delicious. Don't forget to order the giant pretzel with the house mustard. Yum!!!

My friends and I had lunch outside at this establishment today. For a Sunday, it was very busy. The food was good, but I really expected a larger variety in their menu. We ate outside and seeing the various boats go by was interesting. My friends and I wanted to try something different and in another part of town, instead of going to our usual restaurants on the Eastside of Cleveland. It was worth a try and at least the weather was good, aside from being very hot with little breeze.

Me and my boyfriend were feeling spontaneous, so we stopped to check it out since the scenery is stunning. The atmosphere was great. Seems like it could potentially be a great drinking spot. The food, however is bland. The fries were actually great, burger.... bland. No seasoning. If you prefer no seasoning then go for it. I will not eat there again. Not for that price to eat such a bland burger.

Stopped by for brunch on a Sunday. They do have a special menu for brunch with some flavorful options like breakfast tacos with pickled onions and a breakfast French toast bake. We also ordered the pretzel charcuterie board which was a big hit for the table. Parking is great, too.

Amazing service, terrific food and well rounded drink selection. The scenery and atmosphere are stunning and well worth a visit. I’ve been here for family gatherings, dates and with friends. An excellent choice for any occasion! Slightly disappointed they decided to get rid of the fire pits in place of igloos this year. Can’t blame them

Very overpriced! I ordered the “s’mores board” (picture below) for my daughters for $28 which included 4 grahams crackers, broken pretzel pieces and a few pieces of chocolate. The menu is very limited and the igloo was also overpriced compared to other restaurants… like the “Around the Corner Cafe.” When we entered the igloo it was extremely hot, with no help from the staff we had to figure out how to turn the heat off.

A beautiful spot! We enjoyed happy hour from 4 to 8 on tuesday, The 8 items or so on the happy hour menu were just the right variety, and we all enjoyed them. There was music, a single guitarist, fun, but not intrusive. Couples and families, outdoor umbrellas and cheerful service, all made for a really nice atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. Food is just ok. River view and former homeless west bank now trimmed for your viewing pleasure. Bloody Mary is kinda lame. Cheap olives, 4 day old celery brown on the ends.

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
