Huge industrial like decor with lots of tables, bar space, big kitchen, high energy and the large brewing area you can see. Place is clean and well maintained. Came here yesterday late morning for lunch and brews. The folks at the bar were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The man in the kitchen who makes the pizzas also very friendly and welcoming. On this visit I brought two flights of beers that were only sold in the brewery. The beers are phenomenal- big, bold, delicious flavors, and many styles of beer to choose from. They have something for everyone, from the casual beer drinker, to the new craft beer drinker, and to the beer nerd. The beers are big winners here! For food I brought the Italian Sausage Pizza. Absolutely amazing and delicious. Quality ingredients, especially the flavorful sausage and roasted onions, topped on freshly made dough and baked in a fire brick oven. The crust around the pizza is chewy and has a nice flavor. Highly recommend the Italian Sausage Pizza! Clientele at the time were mostly young professionals to have lunch. Most of them didn’t order beer nor alcohol. If I worked close to this place then I’d come here for the pizza at least 1-2 times per week. The only negative about this place is the parking. Free and metered parking along the nearby streets were full. There was a nearby parking garage where I paid $13.00 for 2.5 hours. A bit steep though worth it thanks to the good beer, food and service I received at Masthead. Highly recommend to make this place one of your stops when in Cleveland.

We stopped in here to try a few of the local brews and enjoy a little food. The wife really liked the few she tried. The food we tried was awesome. Really enjoyed the hummus and large pretzel we got, almost got a pizza but we wernt super hungry. We were impressed with the pizza oven they had. I forgot to check to see if they had onion rings. If so, next time I will make sure to get some.

Masthead has a variety of good beer options! I had the superior wit, which I really enjoyed, and the surf to slope, which was Aldo good, but came from a can. My bartender was very helpful! I had the veggie pizza, and it was delicious! I highly recommend stopping by!

So of course this is a brewery but the reuben pizza and pretzel (with 3! Dips) were awesome! Helles lager Were tasty as well as the hazy ipa. Busy but not unbearable after a Browns game. Kid friendly and nice service.

Great stop when we spent an overnight driving through Cleveland. Great service, tasty food, good pizza and salad options. We sat outside with our dog. Staff were all really friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back if we're in Cleveland again.

Great beer, atmosphere, and location. The everything pretzel is huge! The pizza looked ok but I'll stick to making my own.

Awesome microbrewery on the edge of downtown in the CSU campus area! They have some of the best beers made locally and their entire production facility is on-site. Great staff and really nice food options. You can get a table for yourself, go with a group or host an event. Plenty of TVs to catch a game too.

Good place to stop by to have a beer or cocktail and a snack on a beautiful day. Sat at the family style picnic tables and placed our food and drink orders at the counter. The Agave Colin's was very good as well as the Masthead IPA along with our everything pretzel. Fun and lively atmosphere.

I should have tried this place long time ago ! Excellent pizza, service, and beer . The decor and table spacing is great ,I stopped in on a crowded Saturday night and had an artichoke white pizza and the Keller beer . Great beer I’m overly impressed with the taste of the beer. I had a bartender named Lindsey super nice lady made my first visit enjoyable. I totally recommend this place fast service as well . Kudos Masthead brewery!

Come to Cleavland to visit some friends, and they said we had o come here. when you walk in, you take a menu and find a seat. Then, choose your items from a limited menu and order at the bar. I went with the Beet salad and asked them to switch out the goat cheese for mozzarella or provolone cheese. They decided to put shaved Parmigian cheese instead. Wife and friends had pineapple Hawaiian pizza, a Buffalo chicken pizza, a mushroom with truffle oil, and a pepperoni and sausage pie. pizza was ok most, not my style of pizza. Nice busy brewery with lots of choices. unfortunately, I do not drink beer.

Excellent place, pizza, and workers. Had such a great time. The staff was very Friendly. Even though we weren't drinking and just went there for the pizza. They still made sure are drinks were full. Excellent environment with a great vibe. Can't wait to go back in summer time when they have garage type doors opened and the place is a open air brewery.

The beer was great. Had an amazing double hazy and a great coffee stout made with a local coffee company. Didn't have any food but did have enticing looking options. The venue itself was very nice. I'd return if ever in the area again

This is a really entertaining brewery! They make great beer, and the place is massive! This is a great game night / Get your friends together kind of place. The pizzas are pretty classy and the apps are too.

I love going to Masthead brewing co not just for their beers, but also their incredible Neapolitan pizza. I love their pumpkin ale and their jalapeño IPA. Most of their beer is of a higher percentage. They have incredible everything pretzel and goat cheese stuffed dates and their pizza and some of my favorites are the egg breakfast/brunch pizza and their red pies!

Basic...very basic. We decided to try this place (8/27) but we should've went to our fave place instead...here's our experience; The location is odd you have to drive around for parking. It use to be an old factory of some sort so it has some nice details. Very large open space, and large front windows. After getting inside we found that there is no waiter. You simply grab a menu FIND a seat at one of the many large picnic tables, figure out what u want to eat (which isn't hard since it's only pizza), get in line and order your food. Its a free for all so once you get up to order you may not get your same spot back unless your group stays seated. There is water sitting out in a cooler with no ice and warm glasses if you're thirsty while you wait. There's pizza, salad, large pretzel, fruit and about 3 other appetizers. There pizza menu is pre made either white or red sauce. I didn't see a toppings list so we ordered what was listed. White Mushroom pizza for me and P.S.M for him (pep, saug, mush). The beer menu was nice and had a good variety. Wait time was about 15 minutes. You'll get a pager that will vibrate when your order is ready, then you walk over to the pick up line and grab ur food, sort of like a lunch line at school. This is not the time to be germ warden either, all the pies are waiting on pick up so grab yours and go. All pies are one size and one type of crust (thin and crispy). When you have a very thin crust you should not over cook the pizza but the white pizza was pretty tough. The red pizza was very basic. Pizza and beer for two $55.00 and definitely not worth it. Overall if you're headed downtown to the game and want to grab some pizza WAIT! You can do better further downtown, Pizza Hut in the stadium or on the East Bank (BeerHead is our fave). You can get full and maybe order wings too!

Service: 5/5 Beer: 4/5 Food: 3/5. I got the brunch pizza. Flavors were light, but enjoyable. The issue, however, was most of the bottom of my pizza was burnt. The burnt taste overwhelmed the light flavors most of the time. I will probably end up going back to give their pizza a second chance.

Enjoyed my time at this brewery. Got the dates appetizer and it was way too sweet, too decadent and definitely not worth 8 bucks for 5 stuffed bites. Mushroom pizza on the other hand was really good and a decent size for 12 bucks. Beers were solid for a brewery like this. It got pretty busy when we went on a Saturday night and it seemed like everyone brought their kids.

We had a great time! We went to a different brewery last night in Cleveland and had terrible service. We went to Masthead today and were blown away by how friendly everyone was. We ordered a red pizza and a white pizza and they were both delicious. Beer was great. Setup is nice and casual, you choose your seats, some are at large picnic tables so depending on how busy they are, you may end up sitting near other people you don’t know. Several spots at the bar are designated for going up to place your order and service was fast and friendly. We would highly recommend!

I sat at the bar. It was insanely busy when I got there. Took a few minutes to get served. The first bartender I encountered was so miserable. She obviously didn’t want to be there and couldn’t be more annoyed with everyone she interacted with. But she was clearly at the end of her shift because after 10-15 mins of being there, she left. After that, everything was amazing. I probably encountered 6 or 7 other bartenders that left me wanting for nothing. They were all so friendly and so attentive. I was well taken care of for the 2+ hours I was there. The food and pizza were both so delicious. I can’t wait to come back!

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
