The service was nice. The food and drinks were good. The atmosphere was the typical sports bar & grill, but a bit more vibrant than most. For an out of town person, I wouldn't say Winking Lizard is a must eat at place, but it's definitely a viable option and if I lived locally, I would eat at the Winking Lizard fairly frequently. The bottom line: I had a great time with good food and friends. It's a great place to kick back and enjoy yourself.

I am give ng this a one because clearly this is NOT a double shot. Charged 13.00 for what they call 2 oz of alcohol. The accepted Standard is 1.5oz per shot. I do believe this was not even 1oz. Also the chicken breast I ordered was the smallest breast I have seen anywhere.

Service was FABULOUS! Meal was satisfying. Great fresh brewed iced tea and coffee. Dessert was a bargain. Homemade salad dressing is delish.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink and dinner. We were greeted right away and she was so friendly! The restaurant was clean and the prices were very reasonable. The waitress and waiters were all so nice and all very busy. Our drinks were good and our food came out quickly. We both had Buffalo chicken sandwiches. The brioche buns they came on were amazing! Just the right amount of heat. They have a very large selection of alcoholic drinks too! They will have Great Lakes Brewing Company Christmas Ale on tap for Christmas in July too!! I will be back for that on July 23rd! We all need to support these restaurants that are doing such a great job!

This is a story of failure and success. They took my drink order right away. The beer came and I put in my dinner order. While waiting on my dinner I was chatting with someone and lost track of time. After about 50 minutes without my food I flagged down a bartender (Not the same one who took my order) to check in on my food. Turns out, it was entered into their computer. The manager came over and said that my food and beer would be on him. They placed the order and brought it out as well as second beer. The grilled rye on my Patty Melt was way over grilled. I ate it anyway because I was getting tired and it was getting late. When the bill came I was a bit surprised since I was told that the food and one beer would be free. But, I ate and drank the food so I would pay for it. The trouble is that not only was the food that was promised for free on the bill there was a 3rd beer. So I asked to have them take the 3rd beer off. The bartender who didn't place the order in the first place needed to call the manager over. The manager came over and apologized profusely and then said that he would buy everything and wanted me to pay nothing. Issues arise. People forget to do things and food sometimes get's overcooked. I'm ok with mistakes. As long as the people are ready to admit the mistake and do what they can to make amends for those mistakes. That is what happened here. The manager did all that he could to send me away with a smile on my face.

Would have been 5 stars but on the way out asked for a cup of water to walk with and was blown off by the bar staff and laughed at by wait staff. Didn't seem a hard request. The fried haddock sandwich was amazing. Fries were really good. Great beer selection and excellent margarita special. Table wait staff was outstanding and the manager was delivering and taking care of customers.

I'd give it a 5-5 for myself but a 3-5 for my wife... for my score, I'll split the difference. I ordered the Blue Shroom burger and quite enjoyed it. My wife, on the other hand, had the Hanson burger and the patty was burnt black, just this side of charcoal. I couldn't believe it was allowed to leave the kitchen like that. My wife had taken the bun off the top and the server didn't even have to ask... she immediately apologized and said she'd get a new one. The service was great but it was a bit irritating to have to wait for a new burger to be prepared. My sons and I had long finished our meal by the time the new burger arrived at the table. A shame really because I enjoyed my food and my sons enjoyed their wings.

It was a nice spot, and we sat outside. The weather was great. Our waitress was great and the food was good. A little pricey, but I was in Cleveland, so it made total sense. lol I had the cajun wings, and they were ok. We tried the maple bacon wings, and they are great. Burger was good. Onion rings were good. Margarita was perfectπŸ₯° glad we found it

Came to watch some of the ball game (Go Jays!), have some food and some drinks. We sat at the bar, and staff were great - attentive and friendly. We ordered Caesar salad and a Deluxe pizza. The salad tasted good, but the dressing wasn’t creamy like we are used to; the pizza was really tasty, but could have used 1/2 the cheese. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Saw someone eating wings, they looked and smelled delicious, so would try them on a return visit.

I made a custom pizza at the Winking Lizard, and loved it! The crust is on the doughy side, the sauce was robust and salty, and the fresh toppings were generously added on top. I put black olives and jalapeΓ±os on mine. Solid quality, great Cleveland pizza!

We visited on a Thursday night. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess. She was friendly, kind, and quickly found us a table. Our waitress was attentive & polite. We were informed of the wide variety of adult beverages & with it being our first time visiting, she offered us a little more time to look over everything. I highly recommend the Fat Heads Strange Magic draft beer - it was delicious, light tasting with a beautiful color to it, and no bitter after taste. The spinach artichoke dip was really good. I like that it was served with a side of salsa. My husband ordered the chicken nacho meal & we thought it looked & sounded delicious, however he felt it was just ... ok & if served with a different style of chips, maybe shredded chicken instead of chunked, or something it would have made a huge difference. I ordered Bo-Man's Bacon Cheeseburger cooked medium rare with a side of onion rings. My burger was amazing!! Cooked to perfection with flavor that was out of this world. :) The onion rings were probley the best onion rings I've ever had .... I'm not even close to joking. I shared there onion rings with my husband because my meal was super filling and he needed to believe me that they were the best - He agreed. The over all atmosphere of the Winking Lizard was cool. There are various framed concert posters on the walls which we loved. Seating consists of tables or the bar area. The tables currently have hung plastic partitions between them to meet covid safety guidelines. Clean restuarant, clean restrooms, great music, wonderful staff. We're hoping to return for a visit so we can put in a higher review in the future.

Michael was our server. If you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with American food and brew, this is a good place to go! We make sure to stop in every time we are headed through the Cleveland area. Enjoy!

Fun little sports bar to eat. Our server Pearl was excellent! Food came out fast, hot & tasty! Convenient with it being a short walking distance from the Drury Inn downtown Cleveland. (Fire in The Hole wings won against my husband. He could only eat 2...lol)

What a gem of a find! Made it here twice in a day. Was staying at the Westin & was such an easy walk to the tavern. Excellent drink selection, excellent service (thank you Emily), and the food was delicious for the price.

My wife and I stopped in Winking Lizard in down town Cleveland Ohio for a bit and cold beer, wow what an awesome place! The experience was awesome from the delicious food and large selection of beer and of course the friendliness staff. We were lucky to have Emily as our waitress, she was truthy the best! The manager Richard was warm, friendly and fun chat with. We would highly recommend the Winking Lizard 🦎 spot not to be miss in down town Cleveland! V&M 11/2023 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Amazing place. Don't skip it. Me and a few friends went here after the hall of fame. The place was amazing, the food came out fast. The food was well beyond our expectations as far as taste, quality and portion size. Mike our server was happy and upbeat and was quick to play along with our slight rowdiness (we"re from Philadelphia). I think we're visiting cleaveland again for a Browns game in September so we will be back.

Pretty good. Small indoor seating but nice space. Server was awesome for our table of 6. Food was hot, tasted good, and drinks were always full. Prices were a great value for the money compared to most similar type food places. Please revisit your chili. Bleh. Lol

Service was a bit slow given the time of day, and it was a Monday but...the Ed Burger I ordered was among the very best burgers that I have ever eaten. Smokey, juicy and delicious. Also the pretzel sticks and hot mustard were fantastic! I do not live anywhere near this place but will strongly consider a trip to Cleveland to revisit!

I came in for a interview and the manager told me no off top because it would have been my first job. He said you don't look like my employee's now I'm sorry but good bye. I'm a young black 18 year old female who's trying to make a living for herself and he turned me away. His employees are all white. These managers now and days are very disrespectful and judges off top. He never gave me a chance.

We had a decent experience here. I wanted Green Sriracha wings, however this location doesn't have that sauce (online menu says they do.). I ordered Spicy Garlic instead and I'm quite sure I received plain Garlic. They weren't the least bit spicy and the sauce was lacking in general. Burger was ok. The location and atmosphere (I guess they just moved here) was nothing to write home about They have Zombie Dust on tap, which is amazing. Not great, but decent overall.

I walked in off the street and instead of asking me to wait for a table ( it was the lunch crowd) I was asked if I’d like to sit at the bar and eat. The bartender was a friendly enough guy - took my beer order and lunch order within a minute or two. I had the haddock sandwich. It was HUGE. I had to take the fish off the bun and eat it with a fork. Very tasty. Steak fries were very good as well. This place is a two block walk up 9th street from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Great way to end the morning!
