So glad we had the opportunity to stop by. What an amazing experience! Excellent service, knowledgeable staff and very welcoming. It was a bit difficult choosing (everything looked delicious) and while servers were bring out other tables order, we were questioning if we should order something else or at least a plate to go. If you're in Cleveland, Blue Point is a must at the top of your list. Can't wait to go back.

Came here on Mother’s Day and had really high expectations based on high rating and word of mouth. Food and service was great, but not that great for a $$$$ price point, 5 star, fine dining which is why I give 4 stars. The ambiance and vibe is great, bright but not too bright. Kinda nice amount of noise. Classy. Food was great but not all of it. My potatoes tasted old and were kinda hard. My crab cakes were decent but I’ve had better. My dads steak was slightly over cooked. I expected asparagus to have that vibrant dark green and they looked … dead and not fresh. Mom loved her chicken and we enjoyed the lobster claw appetizer. Just kinda disappointed overall. Also, lots of stairs to the bathroom and no changing table in the bathrooms was another downfall. I may try again but kinda don’t want to spend that money for another below par experience.

Had a great meal here. Customer service was excellent too, attentive and quick. We had the grand seafood tower and it was delicious! Had ordered an oyster appetizer before we decided on the tower but so worth it!

This is place is top notch. The food is delicious, flavorful, and perfect portions. On every visit the service has been exceptional. The servers are pleasant and go out of their way to ensure your experience is perfect. The atmosphere is upscale and cozy. We always enjoy dinner here on special occasions or anytime we want excellent seafood. I can't say enough about this place. If you haven't been, make it a priority.

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in downtown Cleveland. Our server was humorous, courteous and helpful. It was also nice of thr manager to stop by and introduce himself to the group. Our group tried steak and seafood and we were all happy with our orders. Definitely recommend this restaurant

Can only recommend. From the quality of the food to the ambiance of the place. we went as a family and the staff was friendly and timely, helped with recommendations and checked in with us to make sure everything was taken care of. The food itself was also good.

Went with a group of 10 on a Tuesday night. The place was reasonably full and we had reservations. Everything was spot on from the bread being warm to the presentation and food. Our server was excellent and glasses never sat empty. Everything was excellent!

Kristin is wonderful! Ask for her. The food is marvelous! Delicious. Seafood towered over us! Ordered it. Lobster bisque was Wonderful! Legit. So good. Perfect place. Sit up stairs if possible!

Delicious fresh food. Pricey but as a treat it's amazing. Odd that they put the convenience fee on the bill even though it was 2 of us. But the service was sublime. Steak was absolutely perfect. Crab Mac and Cheese was creamy and succulent. Worst part was trying to find a place to park downtown on a Friday night but after a few fruitless jaunts around the block we decided to just valet.

Cozy, old flair feel, attentive and professional barkeepers and staff. Had the Oyster sampler which has varieties from both coasts. Fresh and delicious! Hard to choose a main from the variety of selections but decided on the Nags Head grouper with lobster mashed potatoes, braised spinach and vermouth cream sauce. It was outstanding! The sauce was flavorful and delicate, pairing nicely with the pan seared grouper that was done to perfection. A little crunchy crust on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The braised spinach was a nice accompaniment. This is my second trip to this establishment and I have added it to my list of favorite eateries in Cleveland.

One of THE best meals you will have in Cleveland. Not just a seafood and steak place. This chicken was one of the better plates of chicken I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was overwhelmingly friendly. The creme brulee was amazing. Took our time and made the night of the experience. The valet staff was also super friendly and fast! Treat yourself, it's a must go.

I read BPG’s reviews prior to my dining experience and I can’t help but wonder if my experience was an outlier. We drove 45 minutes from Akron to BPG to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but I left the restaurant wanting a do over celebration and my 45 minutes back. The lobster bisque was thick fishy soup with small pieces of lobster. The taste and texture was just wrong. I didn’t like it at all. The waiter took it off our bill. Although the salads were tasty the plating was messy. The lettuce was piled high on the plate hiding large chunks of half beets and some quartered beets. Every cut resulted in me clanging the plate with my knife. My husband ordered the special, cornmeal fried bass. It was unevenly cooked. He ate around the fish eating the cooked parts. My scallops and shrimp were overcooked and plated around one side of the plate—the entire dining experience was uneventful.

Blue Point Grille in downtown Cleveland was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! Incredible drinks, appetizers, and entrees served in a romantic atmosphere. We enjoyed several appetizers, including the Maryland crab cakes, seared scallops, as well as the lobster and shrimp salad. The filet and BBQ mahi special were cooked to perfection. For more intimate seating, you can request to be seated in the side room booths by the window instead of the large dining room. Reservations can be made online. Book early, spaces fill up quickly! Blue Point is conveniently located. This is a perfect place to eat before you go to the theater! Valet parking is available for an additional charge. It was a very lovely evening all around. Thank you, Blue Point Grille!

Kevin was absolutely phenomenal with his friendliness and professional service! Not just him but the whole staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The mussels and grouper was amazing and cooked to perfection and the ice cream was great as well, absolutely no complaints! Will definitely come back when I'm in town!

My first visit to Blue Point Grille was a great experience! The staff is attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is classy and modern. And of course, the food is absolutely fantastic! I got the Nags Head Grouper, their signature dish, and it was flawless. The lobster mashed potatoes were out of this world! The prices are definitely on the higher end, but it's very worth it given the overall experience.

I may change this review but for now the food was amazing. My server Melissa was awesome and very informative and realistic when it comes to Oysters. I went there by myself and spent 130$ on one meal and one appetizer and one sprite. My one complaint charging 18% Gratuity on top. Now will I go back only if I get the same server. Not from Cleveland.

I was there for a business dinner. The server was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable, so much so that we could almost taste the food from her descriptions. She smiled while interacting with us. She was also very attentive. The one thing I will say is it was a little too much chilly air.

First time visiting. Wonderful open atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Service was over the top on it! Enjoyed calamari for our appetizer. My wife had an Old Fashioned. Oysters for dinner with a nice glass of wine. All entrées or fresh and delicious. Price point was less than normal. Thank you Blue Point Grille for a fabulous night out.

Went for dinner. Sat at the bar. Good atmosphere. The drinks were very good and have a nice selection. The two bartenders were were on point and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection just as I ordered it. Only downside/ negative is the prices are pretty high which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend this to everyone and most likely be back the next time I'm in the area

From the drinks to the food it was delicious. The oyster sampler had 4 different varieties of oysters. All very tasty! The biggest lobster tale I've ever had ...it was sweet and tender. The steak was good and made to a perfect medium rare. They do include the 20% service charge on the bill. As a new person to the area the parking gets a bit confusing but we ultimaly found a $7 parking down the street by Johnny's Little Bar. Otherwise, there is Valet for $12.

All around an amazing dining experience and the best seafood I have found in CLE area. We got the filet with lobster and two sharable sides. Portions were great and everything was cooked to perfection. My only downside was the shrimp cocktail was pricey for the size of the shrimp. It was good but wish they had been the jumbo size. I would recommend and will be back again.

Excellent customer service, multiple staff kept checking in on us throughout the meal. Our server was a tad bit odd, had to flag him down a couple times as he wasn’t checking in with our table but none the less service was impeccable and the food was so good, talk about food coma. Perfect setting for any occasion! We ordered the lobster bisque, which was nice, hot and delicious full of lots of flavor. And then the surf and turf was perfect, amazing. We also ordered the crab mac and cheese, however this dish is very very heavy on the stomach. Very good but will fill you up quickly if you don’t eat strategically! And then we had a birthday in our party, the birthday creme brûlée was okay, nothing to personally rave about though. Felt the flavor was off. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out!

Amazing food and great service. Can’t say enough great things about this place. The bass which was special that night was prob the one of the best I’ve ever had. Felt somewhat crammed in to the next table, but still great.

Was here in Cleveland for a 3 day meeting, and this was my favorite spot for dinner. Food was amazing, and the fixed menu for our group offered something for everyone. Wine list was fantastic and our serving team did a great job. Thank you!

Ohhh my gosh Blue Point was delicious. My friend and I are big dirty martini girls and both drank 2. The food was insanely good and the portions were great for the price point. You absolutely have to get the lobster mashed potatoes and the scallop app

I ordered the Barcelona Bellini, the blue point oysters, and the lobster risotto. The drink was so refreshing and light! The oysters were sooo good! Blue points are always mild in flavor, but these tasted fresh, were large in size, and were shucked wonderfully. The lobster risotto was amazing & it was a nice portion.

Fantastic from start to finish. During this crazy covid world the team at Blue Point supported our family to celebrate special moments in a very safe and comfortable way. Amazing table, great service from front of the house to back of the house. Bartenders were great with perfect Makers Manhattan's, hostesses were friendly and accommodating, server was friendly / knowledgeable and helpful, managers touched base with our table several times to ensure our experience was perfect. Nice job Blue Point!

Being that I am a huge foodie and that I also try as many places old and new and try to always give my honest opinion this has been my absolute favorite restaurant for years. Yes it's pricey but you get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed here on any visit here. Food is excellent and always mouth watering good. Large portions and always cooked to order. I didn't even like seafood until I had it there. I would highly recommend and I would give it 20 stars if allowed. Yes it's that good!

Desserts were okay. I would advise to stick to drinks, apps, and seafood if you go here, my fiance and son loved their scallops and lobster bolognese respectively. Would have given three stars but our waiter Mark deserves a whole star as he was amazing so bumped it up to four. highly recommend

Excellent food with remarkable preparation and service to match. We had a great experience here and would recommend to others. Filet was cooked perfectly with excellent crust. Lobster tail was perfectly executed as were the scallops. Covid protocols were clearly taken seriously. Menu entree prices range from $30-$60.

For the price of a full course meal. It definitely was not worth the money. The service was great the food fell short. I had the Lobster Bisque (made my stomach upset as well as another person in my dinner party). Seared Scallops were just okay (they were a little crunchy) which they should've have been. I opted to take dessert (key lime tart) to go. It was also clean and all visible employees wore masks. 5 stars for service.

Pretty much a bad experience, I was corralled into an 18 inch space at the bar, hostess talked down to me and bartender served me the wrong order. Charged me 20% Service fee and MOD made a lousy attempt at an apology. Never again. Visited on Browns Game night 12 14 2020. Much better options down the street.

Had an amazing dinner. Our waitress was great and super helpful. The lobster bisque was absolutely worth it! Would give it five stars but not thing I noticed was the manager walking up to every table and personally thanking the guest for dining. However he seemed to always walk pass our table and did not give a care. I guess we weren’t the clientele they were seeking at this establishment.
