Dim sum brunch served literally a la cart. We arrived Sunday right at 10am when they opened. The restaurant is located right inside Asia Plaza on the left. We were seated and served tea. We looked at the menu and found what we wanted but no one came around to take our order. After a few minutes, carts loaded with dishes began making their way around the restaurant. They would stop and you got to grab whatever looked good. We were quite hungry so we grabbed some sesame buns to start. They had a great rice and bean filling that was surprisingly sweet. The next cart had the goods that we were looking for, rice noodle shrimp rolls and shumai. Wow, were these good. Dipping them into a mixture of the provided soy sauce and chili oil really made them pop. The next time around the woman with the cart insisted we try a fried shrimp ball. She was right and the sauce it came with was delightful. Last we grabbed some potstickers, also wonderful. We took our receipt up and paid for our meal. The restaurant is large and had a good number of tables filled by the time we left. I’m looking for more brunch experiences like this in 2022.

Excellent dim sum. Love the atmosphere. The staff brings out the food on carts and you just pci what you want. Be careful though because it can add up $$$

I revisted this restaurant today and haven't been here in a while. We ate lunch, and it was still the best like before. The servers are friendly and very helpful. Our order was made and served hot in a nice, timely manner. The servers and once the manager also kept checking back with us, which is great customer service

Li Wah is beautiful. The architectural design is beautiful and comfortable, with very bright colors. The host was very kind and timely. I ordered sesame chicken. It was very juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I enjoy my entire time at Li Wah. I will visit again. Please leave a thumbs up if you find this review helpful

Such a fun dim sum place with amazing food! Servers came around with carts filled with food, where we chose different dishes. (Dim sum may be lunch only, we didn’t see the carts during dinner time). We also ordered entrees, and they were all great. We loved all of the dumplings and bok choi. And food came out real fast. I want to go again soon!!! 🥟🥬🍚🍤🥢

Hmmm, sad to post poor reviews as the restaurant business is extremely challenging. On the positive side, this place deserves credit for attempting to provide authentic Cantonese food and dim sum in a city that may not have a large demand for this cuisine. The dim sum was not the most fresh with mushy shrimp in the shrimp rice rolls and shrimp dumplings (ha gow). The recommended garlic spare ribs were greasy rib cartilage and/or fatty, all large clunky chunks. The twin lobster with ginger and scallions were very small, greasy and over coated with corn starch. Probably our fault for ordering them as the live seafood tanks were filled with cloudy, murky water. The stir fried Chinese broccoli was the best dish. We ate about 20% of what we ordered. Maybe being Cantonese with origins in Hong Kong, NYC and LA created a high bar, but I would recommend almost any of Cleveland's other venues and waiting to have dim sum in HK, NYC, LA, Chicago, Boston, Houston or another city/town that's up to post 2000's Chinese cuisine standards. Sadly, Li Wah brings back memories of small town Chinese food in the 70's...or from looking at all their other positive reviews, maybe we just happened to come on a weekday day when they were off their game.

My favorite dim sum were the fried shrimp balls and the shrimp and cilantro dumplings. The bacon rolls were a little too rich. Didn’t really like the sticky rice. Everyone was super nice and service was very quick.

Anyone who lives in Northeast Ohio knows if you crave traditional dim sum you’re only going to find it here. There are a few dim sum restaurants but they do not compare to Li Wah. I have been coming here since For 30+years. The staff is friendly I’m a regular here every Monday. I prefer to avoid the crowds. This place always reminds me of NYC…….

I always love coming here, it’s the closest dim sum place for me that actually has good food. It’s definitely worth the drive in my opinion, just don’t get there right when they open as they’re still preparing some of the fried dim sum dishes.

Dim sum lovers, this is your place! These delicious dim sums are served traditional style, with the dim sum cart strolling around the dining room. You can also order them from the menu. This is a perfect spot for quick lunch if you are here for the real Dimsum. I did order fried rice and soup during one visit and remembered that it took a lot longer (15-20 minutes) to arrive, which by that time I'd already stuffed my face with these dumplings. There are plenty of seating so there should not be a long wait time, (and also plenty of parking spots) I usually go at lunch so I was usually seated right away. Staffs were nice and attentive. The place is clean and well-decorated like a traditional Chinese restaurant, though it does look quite worn. Overall, I always had a great meal here and will come back. If you haven't tried yet, check out the salted egg yolk cream bun, this is as good as the one from the famous dimsum tea parlor in NYC

Fun place for small plates. Many items are very good. A few are amazing. Not all to my specific taste, but still a fun place to try.

I decided to check out dim sum in Cleveland. I heard this place is popular. Here are my ratings: Location/ambiance is very nice. It’s very clean and easy to find, except parking is hard to find because it’s usually full. Price is a bit expensive for the dishes I ordered, even for USA standards. I have had cheaper dishes in Minnesota. Taste - I ordered 5 dishes and for the most part they were not bad. The sticky rice dish was flavorful, the grains were not too sticky, and it has all the ingredients that blended well together. The turnip cake was decent, good flavor when dipped in soy sauce. The chicken feet was not bad either. Although I like chicken feet with black bean sauce more, this one’s flavor is good. The siew mai was quite meaty with a nice piece of shrimp in it. The flavors of pork and shrimp worked well together. Finally, the har cau was disappointing. The skin was too thick and the shrimp flavor was a bit too strong. Overall, it’s not a bad place to check out for dim sum, but only occasionally due to the high prices.

Excellent food and polite and quick service. Authentic dishes served hot and fresh. Best hot and sour soup I ever had! We had an excellent time and wish we had room for more. The table next to us ordered the pupu platter and will definitely try that next!

My daughter took me here for my birthday. Everyone was pleasant. There was one gentleman who was especially nice. Not only did he serve, but he was also engaging. We had dim sum. It was a first for me. It was very tasty and filling. A definite repeat visit will be done.

Came here with a group of 20 and they were very accommodating. Dim sum was solid and everything hit the spot. If you're ever craving Chinese food or dim sum, this will do the job. The manager (i think) was super friendly with his incredible smile and all the servers definitely made sure we had enough food. Food: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Vibes: 6/10 Value: 5/10

Not bad, service was fast. Just did dim sum. The pork was fantastic. I managed to squirt custard bun guts all over myself, so, don't squeeze their buns. It was a satisfactory, sort of nice utility experience in a stereotypical way. Apparently weekends are better. If you want basic dim sum prepared well, this seems to work.

You can't go wrong if you are a fan of Dim Sum. We had a party of six last Saturday and the food and service were delightful. You literally start eating within minutes as the servers bring rolling carts of various offerings. Oh, and the price is very moderate as I think our meals came out to less than $20 per person.

Love Li Wah! It’s a must stop every time I go to the attached grocery store. Do not eat before coming here, because you will not want to stop. Delicious every time.

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
