This is a large place with many different rooms in a large Central theater area. He could get tickets for a comedy show and get food and drink serve to you while you watch it. The venue is located on East 4th Street.

This place used to be so good and clearly the staff and quality has not recovered since COVID-19. 3 out of 6 of our orders were not correct. When they attempted to fix it my rare steak came out well done. After I cut into it they offered me a new steak and it did not come out until almost 45 minutes after the rest of my family had already finished eating. When the steak came out it came out so rare it was almost blue. I wish I took a picture of the first steak but I took a picture of the second just so you can see I am not exaggerating. I work in a restaurant and understand that things happen but this many mistakes should not be happening and after messing up our orders once, they should be making sure that they do not do it wrong again especially twice. The waitress was very friendly and I feel bad but there is a clear problem with management that needs to be addressed. I left the restaurant hungry and crying from embarrassment. I will not be returning to this establishment again, which is quite sad considering all of the good memories I have had here in the past.

Great night out on the town! We had reservations for a 7:15 dinner time and were 15 minutes late due to traffic and parking garages being full on a Friday night but we were seated with no problem. We ate outside and enjoyed the summer breeze. The mango chicken Flatbread was excellent and definitely spicy! Steak was cooked to perfection but the mashed potatoes were a little starchy. Wonderful dining experience... we will return!

Walked in on New Years Eve at 9PM. There was a loud band and a packed house. We surprisingly were able to have a seat at a smaller bar table right away. Maya our waitress was attentive and made sure to take care of us. Steak was very solid. Potatoes delicious. Chicken and risotto was amazing as well. Warm bread served with butter was great. Band and the whole vibe made for a pleasant time. Lively but also romantic. Food is expensive, you pay for the city center experience.

I will definitely go back here and give it another try. The food was delicious and we had a great time. We made reservations ahead of time which was helpful. The restaurant is a little overwhelming, very loud. (That's why the service got the rating from me). Which overstimulated me but my friend felt okay. There is a great selection of GF items! The service could have been better, waiter was a little slow and appetizers practically came out with the food but it was a busy Saturday night.

Pickwick and frolic is an amazing restaurant and comedy venue plus options to host parties and events in the basement. I did not even realize how much space for other events there is in the basement. The place is really cool with its layout, there are like hidden treasures around every corner. I've been here for the comedy for easily 10 shows in the past...5-7 yrs. I always bring my friends that have never been here and recommend they order food and drinks. The food is amazing, really tasty. We got the calamari, chicken wings, and fries and they were all very good tasting. I didn't get pics, because the show was going on and I did not want to use flash. BUT I did get myself some dessert pics because their desserts are WONDEFUL. By far...hands down...the chocolate moose is the BEST, cheesecake comes in a close 2nd...but really doesn't even compare to the moose. Highly recommend getting more than 1 moose haha. Wonderful place...great service...great venue....very clean and welcoming. Service is amazing and there is always someone around to give you any assistance if you need it. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic time out with friends! Highly recommend but get there early. Great seats and service! Comedians were great! Met the owner and his daughter; wonderful, hard-working, genuine people. Will definitely go again!! Would love to attend private events at this venue! The experience is a feast for all of the senses!

We saw an amazing drag show downstairs and ordered the stuffed mushrooms. It was my first time at this venue and it was a great experience. The staff are great and the venue is luxurious and clean.

The place is very nice and up-to-date, the workers were friendly and helpful. Although the food is bland and it also came to me cold. Drinks were delicious most likely will go for the drinks and skip dinner next time.

I visited Pickwick and Frolic/Hilarities on Saturday night with a close friend and could not have had a better time! I was very excited to see the headliner and honestly arrived too early as I had intended on eating as I watched the show, but man I am glad we got there too early!! The building is beautiful and only surpassed by the delicious food! I could see all of the kitchen staff from the bar and they were working it for sure!!! I HAD to order a second set of fries once we were sat for the show! I did not encounter a single employee without a smile on his or her face and we even had the pleasure of chatting with Nick for a while. Even though the previous show ran over we were quickly sat. I don't think there's a bad seat there! Thank you Nick and staff for an amazing experience, I can't wait to return!

I have always liked this place although I was disappointed in the risotto. There was a good quantity but very much lacking in flavor. The atmosphere and service was great but I feel that I enjoyed the food much more in the past.

We came for Michael Carbonaro and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We didn't eat at the venue but had drinks during the show, our service was great. Our server checked back frequently to see if we needed anything and was prompt in delivering our drinks. We especially enjoyed being seated in the first row of the upper balcony, we had a great view of the stage and being seated here was unexpected!

Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. We had crab cakes, sweat pea risotto, walleye, and steak sandwich. If I were to suggest one thing...it would be to serve fresh berries with the lemon olive oil cake. Wonderful experience!

We had dinner before Hilarities. We ordered crab cakes to start. They were small but very delicious and the remoulade that they sat on was so yummy! Our server, Manasi, was awesome! Very attentive! She brought us out some warm, soft and delicious rolls. We both ordered burgers. My husband had fries with his and I chose pea risotto as my side. Very good and our burgers were cooked as ordered...medium!!

The Pickwick was fantastic, our server Chewy was very attentive, funny, and just so on it! The food and drinks were awesome. The proprietor greeted us after our dinner before the show in Hilarities club downstairs. We have no complaints, and will definitely be back!

I was disappointed in the food and service. Our waitress ignored us. She was either behind the bar talking with coworkers or talking with tables with large parties. We had to keep flagging her down. Food was so bland except for the stuff mushrooms. I mean no flavor at all. My pasta was tough. I did enjoy the atmosphere. I will also admit we came an hour before closing. However, this should not affect the taste of the food or the service we receive. I hope to try it again in the future and order something different.

Had a long day and it was all made better by Pickwick & Frolic's menu. Wonderful food, Wonderful staff and servers. Very glad we came here. Pics are loaded burger & jerk chicken with maple glazed sweet potatoes (not pictured the bacon wrapped shrimp we devoured).

Absolutely a great place for a comfortable night of fun with great service and food. The club is so cozy and you can't get a bad seat for the show. The restaurant is amazing.

This is one of the best places. Great place for comedy and dinner. With great variety in food, drinks, and comedy. I go at least once a month and the wait staff and comedy had always been top notch.

Had a fun experience. The servers were patient and respectful. The vibe was incredible, especially the food. Greg Morton killed it, made me cry laughing twice. Had an amazing time and please go to Greg Morton’s show, it’s 100% worth the time and money!

Happy to be back! Covid kept me away and was finally able to go! The only disappointment was the woman who sat behind us.. she was so obnoxious and unnecessarily loud. The food, service, show and my friends made it fantastic!
