A diners style steakhouse. There is also an attached bar. Typical steakhouse menu. Food was ok, nothing special. Good value for money. So you would come here either if you are around or have a budget. The only thing that was memorable was the corn bread that is served complimentary!

We showed up around 8 on Thursday without reservervations. The hostess said that she would see what she could do. After about ten minutes, she asked if the bar was ok. It was fine for our use. We sat at the corner table with the chop sign above. A very nice touch. The standard cocktail is 14 bucks, and beers range between 6 and 9. We had the bread dip, steak cigars, and calamari. Everyone seemed to like the apps. I thought the steak cigars which were like steak eggrolls was over cooked and somewhat tough. The cornbread was awesome. It was a little sweet with caramelized sections with jalapeños. I would say a slight sweet heat. Would recommend. A few of us ordered the walleye which was a pan fried walleye filet on top of perogi, braised cabbage and kielbasa. There was a mustard sauce on top. It was wonderful. The others had steak (filet, ribeye, and ny). Every one enjoyed their meal. We were too stuffed from the meal and cornbread that we didn't get dessert. I would come back. Our waiter/bartender was excellent.

Cleveland Chop presents itself as a nice dining option with its classy atmosphere, making it suitable for a variety of occasions. While the food is enjoyable and meets expectations, it may not venture into the realm of the extraordinary. However, the complimentary cornbread is a thoughtful and appreciated gesture, adding a special touch to the overall dining experience. This restaurant seems to strike a balance between elegance and comfort, making it a good choice for those seeking a pleasant meal in a refined setting.

Definitely a wonderful experience! Sean our server was fantastic. All 4 of us were in from out of town and it was delicious. We split the steak egg rolls, and they were great. I loved the spicy mustard. The hibiscus drink was phenomenal. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly. The cheddar mashed potatoes were delicious also. I had the crab bisque and I wish I could eat that every day! The corn bread skillet was also great. We definitely would return. Thank you for the amazing experience!

My husband and I came here for the first time today around 5 pm, we decided to try it because of all the good reviews I found here, the food was good but the service was super slow we waited over 10 minutes just to order some drinks then we put the order for the appetizer and at the same time we order our food so could be ready in time! the first inconvenient we had was that we found a hair in our appetizer they were very polite and brought a new one for us but that took over 25 minutes then we waited for another 30 minutes and our food wasn't ready the waitress brought a dessert to us as a courtesy because our food was taking a lot and then after another 20 minutes the food was ready we spend more then an hour just waiting it was not full it was actually very empty, the food was good after all it is a little pricey though and that long wait wasn't worth it our dinner was around $100.

It was a great experience and food was a 10/10!! Our server Linda was professional and so helpful and kind, best server we have had in a long time. Thanks Linda! Make sure to get the steak and mashed potatoes. Brussels Sprouts were to die for! Wow!

OMG, everything about this experience was great!!! The steak was fantastic and super tender. The sides were good. The appetizers were soooo good! And our server Sam just bought everything full circle!! I must say, last year, I had a bad experience here with my breakfast/brunch ( you guys still owe me a free brunch), but kudos for making up with this fabulous dinner my friends and I had!!!

The pictures say it all. I had celebrated a my friend's birthday. Everyone was pleased with their food I had the calamari which was so good. At the filet mignon and mashed potatoes I ate every bit of it. The stuffed peppers we're not too spicy they were delicious.

Wow this place is a phenomenal place to eat , loved it . This is the first time I ever ate here and it was great . Jason served us at the bar he was very attentive. The whole experience was great ! I love the ambiance inside , huge wine selection, and beers on draft posted on chalk board at bar . The price , I would say an average 60 a person with a drink . I had the Tamahawk pork Chop incredible!!! Try it out Clevelanders or if your visiting from out of town worth your time.

This was the worst lunch I've had downtown. Our server was nonexistent. She never brought out the salad dressing we asked for ( wedge salad had 2 teaspoons of dressing). We asked to share salad, came out not sharable. I mentioned i dont eat gluten, and the salad came out covered in croutons. Steak was not medium, and extremely salty. I had my friend try a bite to see if it was just me, and they agreed. Never asked if we needed a refill or another drink from the bar. Took our ketchup away while we were eating fries. I specifically picked this restaurant because I was downtown and hate cheap food. The food was poor, the service was worse. I would have been better off going to a dive bar.

The service was great. I like the ambiance and music they played. My food was amazing. I will definitely return to this restaurant. I had the filet mignon ( seasoned to perfection) with a crab cake. They have complementary cornbread with honey butter which is super delicious.

Cleveland Chop was highly recommended by a few people I spoke to, and had great reviews, so I decided to try it on the first night in Cleveland. Was dining solo, so I sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. The service from the bartenders was excellent. The food was amazing! Great experience! It was so good that I suggested to the group I was with that we dine at Cleveland Chop instead of the restaurant they chose for the following night. The restaurant is conveniently located if you are staying downtown to attend a Cleveland Browns game and the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame.

Had an early dinner on Friday evening. We had a nice table with a view of the courtyard. Our server, I believe Rebecca, was wonderful. Prompt, smiling, all that. Our apps were ahi tuna tacos and shrimp cocktail. Very good. We were brought some cornbread and honey butter before our soups came. Not my thing, but I tried it. It was quite delicious. Then we had the crab bisque and french onion soup. Again very nice, especially the crab. Dinner, 8oz filet Oscar, spinach, & sweet corn gnocchi. All excellent. Cooked perfectly as well. My wife some peppered steak ( can't remember) and a lobster tail with mushrooms as well. She enjoyed everything. Finally, cheesecake and an chocolate lava cake. Everything came out hot and we never felt rushed. Wonderful dining experience. We've been here I believe four times now. All good experiences. Ambience was nice. Nice crowd, but not too loud.

Cleveland Chop is labeled as a steak house...but has a lot of other food on the menu. There is some elevated bar food like burgers, short rib, salads etc, as well as seafood dishes like salmon, walleye and lobster gnocchi...and of course steaks. Big restaurant with lots of space and normally pretty available for walk in. Service was nice and pretty quick.

This was my first visit. The only issue I had was with there Caesar Salad. The Cheese was strips. It was not put together well. Everything else was delicious, especially the Honey Flavored Cornbread. Also the server's were over worked. Our waitress had to serve tables and work the bar. She was unable to serve us to the best of her abilities. I will be back to see how my second service goes. Thank you.

We dined here for the first time last night. Parking was a hassle since the Browns were playing. We had a reservation stating we would like to be seated in the main dining room in a booth, we got there at 3:45pm with the place empty and they sat us in the back room under a blaring television. I asked to move and she told us only if there are available servers elsewhere? The place was empty! They finally sat us in a booth. Our waitress was fine. The food was nothing special for the price. I ordered the lobster shrimp gnocchi it was very oily and salty. My boyfriend ordered steak he said it was fine. Would not come again.

A very warm and cozy place to dine or have lunch. Our server was very polite and friendly and the food was also delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and of course I'm coming back!

On Halloween weekend, my husband decided to take me and our 6 year old daughter out for a little family date night. As usual, Cleveland Chop didn't disappoint. Our server - Amy - was super friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which we enjoy when dining out. We ordered a slew of apperizers: including bacon wrapped shrimp, steak cigars and stuffed peppers. All were quite delicious. I ordered the New York Strip steak and my husband had the lobster and shrimp gnocchi. No complaints. 👍🏾 The restaurant has a good children's menu, but didn't have any steak as an option. But, our daughter is a huge steak fan, so I just ordered a 16 oz strip and shared it with her. She. Loved. It. In fact, we had leftovers and she asked for more when we got home. 😂 Definitely a 10/10.

First time in Cleveland in a few years got stuck in a hotel with their restaurant closed on a Monday night! I Googled this place a short Uber ride away. Looks like everyone closes early in downtown Cleveland these days so an early dinner but a good one. Friendly bartender and a great bone in doublecut pork chop after a few drinks and a nice wedge salad. Life is good!

Pretty good. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out. We had the shrimp cocktail which was great. The beer selection was not great, but there was enough to at least appease most folks. The service was good, as you would expect from a place like this. It was dimly lit, and we could easily have a conversation. The atmosphere was pleasant, and so were the staff. The reason for the 4-star rating: - It did take a while for the food to come out. I think we probably waited 35-40 minutes. - I ordered the special porterhouse, medium-rare. It came with a lobster cream sauce. I think it was too much sauce and took away from the flavor of the steak. Additionally, the steak was medium/medium-well in some areas, and medium-rare in others. It wasn't cooked evenly. I added a picture to show the amount of sauce used. It's not that the sauce was bad, it was too empowering - which takes away from the steak. I would prefer seeing maybe half the sauce and an evenly cooked steak. I think the sauce actually cooked the steak further in some parts as it was very warm. Perhaps even serve the sauce on the side. It wasn't severe enough for me to send back, though I think most people would have, but I still enjoyed it enough to finish.
