Been coming for the last 10 years and still the same great quality and service. I always get the buffalo cauliflower and the Heck Burger. All the servers are wonderful and beautiful restaurant inside and we try to go here often. Highly recommend getting reservations on weekends they are pretty busy! One of my restaurants here in Cleveland! Also best burgers for sure!!

Heck's Cafe is a great spot. It's a bit of a hidden gem in a quiet Ohio City neighborhood. The beautiful weather made for a wonderful patio experience. The brunch menu is sophisticated, and the regular menu is full of great choices. We got seated right away, but most of the tables remained occupied while we were there. You'll absolutely love it.

First time at Hecks after many people had recommended. Burger lived up to the expectation that I had set and I will most definitely be back. Service was a little slow but Browns were playing so to be expected. Rocky River Burger was delicious

Hecks is like a little hidden gem. My brother took us here for brunch and it was perfect. Most places on a Sunday are so packed you can't get in. We came here and didn't have to wait! The staff was stacked and ready for the rush. Food came in fair time and was pretty darn good. The drinks selection probably could've been better...as I a tend to choose not to drink alcohol. Appetizer: We had the buffalo fries with blue cheese sauce and GF banana 🍌 waffles 🧇 - Fire! 🔥 Entre: I chose the breakfast tacos and baclava french toast. I wasn't the biggest fan of the tacos. Maybe too simple...no enough flavor. Too expensive for what I was given. :/ Quality wasn't that good. The fresh toast was pretty good though. It's also a bit expensive for only being served french toast... I feel like if I'm going somewhere to spend $14 for a plate of french toast, I shouldn't have to pay extra for eggs and potatoes. Maybe a slight upcharge ...but it really should be a part of the meal. BREAKFAST All in all, the food wasn't the best. Service was great and the atmosphere was delightful. Maybe don't come here looking for the best tasting breakfast. 😁💯 DINNER Dinner is great! Food is pretty spot on. Had the wild mushroom ravioli. It was very tasty. The buffalo cauliflower is absolutely awesome. Buy it, for sure! Buffalo fries and banana bread waffles were the best part. I'd do those again!!!

Made a pit stop in Cleveland during a recent road trip and heard about this spot in our hunt for a good burger! Due to its location, while you may think this location is small, as soon as you step inside it gets bigger and bigger and bigger! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the decor phenomenal, the winding staircase truly is a pretty sight to behold. As for good and service, both were very good! I got the Cucumber Mint Lemonade which was good, strong on the cucumber flavor and not too much on the lemonade which for me was great! Our table ordered the Avon Burger (which was what was recommended to us), the Beechwood Burger, and the Heck’s House Salad! Both burgers were delicious, medium rare is always the way to go in my book! With the Beechwood Burger, it’s A LOT of meat, but very very good. Overall a great stop and lovely meal!

Got a reservation for 11:30am for Sunday but didn't need it. They were booked indoors but had availability at the bar and outside. It was perfect weather for outside brunch. The service was slow but I imagine they were slammed. Got the Wild Things and it was delicious. It was very well balanced. It felt like a healthy fish - healthy ingredients and a healthy portion. Would definitely recommend. Though, inside looked whimsical, definitely try to get seated indoors.

The Calamari appetizer was tasty and flavorful. My wife enjoyed the Caesar Chicken Burger and I had the Ohio City Burger. Both were very tasty and made for a wonderful afternoon lunch date. The Commodore Peary and Ohio City Martini went great with the food.

We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was very quaint and we loved the vibe. The food came quickly, and the appetizers were very tasty. The entrees were good, but nothing to write home about. Our server was alright, but warm and welcoming were not necessarily adjectives that came to mind when describing her.

Went for Brunch on Saturday not realizing they only did the full brunch on Sundays. They do have a small brunch menu, however. I chose the Wild Things Hash. It was very good. Another in our party had the Salted Caramel Pretzel Bread Pudding. It was AMAZING! Highly recommend.

Excellent food, excellent service! Drinks are strong! Super cheesy French onion soup and the Brussel sprouts were delicious! Also tried the Brieberry burger with fresh cut fries! It is a beautiful building. Very unique atmosphere. A few recommendations prior to visit: I would encourage reservations. I visited on a Saturday for lunch with a friend (we did not have reservations) and it was very crowded, long line for a wait. The staff was very efficient and still seated us within 20 minutes. **Be prepared to spend time searching for parking. We had to park several blocks away (it was fine, we definitely needed steps after the meal!!). It is tough to find parking, especially when streets and public parking lots are not adequately plowed in the winter.

Casual brunch spot that serves milkshakes, burgers, and omelets. Ordered short rib benedict and classic breakfast plate. Pineapple had hair on the plate. Benedict was not poached egg, instead a fried egg with hollandaise. The fried spinach on the Benedict ruined the whole plate for me. I believe it should be fresh spinach instead. Potatoes were declicous once we added seasoning. Management and service staff was professional and helpful. The kitchen needs to be figured out.

I asked the waiter for the recommendation. And she recommended Avocado toast and bread pudding! And it was FANTASTIC;) and my friend had a burger which was also good Don’t really recommend the carrot cake, the carrot piece was too chunky and hard;(

1st time here. No reservations so we sat at the bar. Which was full service. Bartender was attentive and kind. Food was tasty 😋.

Such a quaint little spot! We absolutely loved the spiral staircase in the center of the dining room, and the high ceilings make the smaller space look much larger. Food was great, but the Brussel sprouts were definitely the star of this trip. Truffle fries could use a little more truffle flavor, but otherwise great. The sauce they used for the calamari was sooooo good. Great kids menu too. Highly recommend!

Never a bad experience. It was a tad chilly in here today but the staff made every effort to make us comfortable. Food was delicious and came out fast, even with it being busy! The most moist falafel (burger) I have ever had!

Heck’s was a delightful brunch for our group of 8. Our server was the sweetest, and while very busy, she took great care of our group. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we were inside in the back room near the bar. It was a little loud in there as it was full of happy customers. All of the food we had was delicious. Huge omelettes and seriously good coffee.

Enjoyed a lunch on the patio here on a sunny day. We didn’t have huge appetites and stopped on a whim. So, we shared the falafel sandwich, the peach caprese, and a half salad, alongside a carrot cake. This food was phenomenal - so fresh, great seasoning, and lovely taste. I was in the area for a few days and could have eaten here daily. Additionally, we noticed extreme kindness from the servers- there was a man and a cat walking down the street. I’m not sure if he was a paying customer, but he didn’t look like it. They offered him some drink and food, too. My mother-in-law cried at their kindness and said this visit- the food, the people, the atmosphere- was the highlight of her week. In short, I’d come back and try anything on the menu again and just enjoy sitting on the patio with friends or family. Heck’s is a stand-up place.

very good short rib burger perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their whiskey caramelized onions was a great addition on the burger that I added. I think the real woman is the choices of sauces they have from truffle to spicy aioli everything was fresh and on point. I do wish the bun was larger for the burger and maybe a brioche bun or something a bit better. Their French fries were good but a bit greasy and salty for my taste. All around I recommend this place and would come back here again and again.

Excellent food and Great service. Cheney was very attentive and friendly. Food was spot on and priced reasonably. Carrot cake, made in house, was the best I have had!

I haven't been here in a little while but have to get back soon. The food was very good and the staff we friendly. Dimly lit and quiet atmosphere. And the milkshake was delicious

Returning after many years Quite a nice upgrade in the interior. Came here around noon on Saturday because pictures of brunch menu, however it was disappointing- menu looked completely different (I guess it’s only on Sunday?) and for light eaters only available option was just an omelette. Dish itself had not much flavor and promised bacon was sporadic. Potatoes were quite burned and over-salted. Toast had no butter (or jelly). That is below what I would expect from this place. Service on contrary was very nice and attentive.

We reserved a patio table but were seated inside in the back corner. The window was covered in dead bugs. This restaurant came highly recommended for gluten free / vegan meals. The waitress said they only had one gluten free option. The chicken kabobs, rice and a moat of aioli that was mostly mayo surrounding the food on the plate. The rice had no seasoning. The grilled veggies were good. Others had burgers and were pleased.

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
