The staff at II Venetian were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. But the real standout was the food. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of options, all of which were prepared to perfection. The flavors were bold, creative, and perfectly balanced. We couldn't get enough of the delicious dishes and already can't wait to come back to try out the rest of their menu. Overall, we had an amazing time at II Venetian. We went for my partners 30th birthday. Overall had a great experience. The staff was super attentive. Hostess was super nice and apologetic when seating us with people in the way. The food was great though! I loved the seafood pasta that I ordered. My partner had the pork chop. Super moist!Everything tasted amazing. Even the desert. Overall had a great exp here. It was quiet loud so don’t expect to be able to converse a whole ton since the sound bounces. But still a great place for special occasions.

“It feels like we are on vacation in Italy, not here in Cleveland” said my friend. Highly stylized tasteful decor and delicious food. We listened to Cleveland Scene Magazine and ordered the hand made gnocchi - it was perfect!!!! We also had a burrata salad with the sun dried tomato purée - fabulous flavor and textures!!!! One friend had the tagliatelle and veggies - very good. The bread was amazing too! Desserts were good - olive oil cake for someone without a sweet tooth and the chocolate cake for a chocolate lover - not sweet but still so decadent. Drinks were good also - the old fashioned came out smoking :)!

Dinner was delectable from start to finish. Hubby & I enjoyed the calamari fritti for starters & for entrees we had the cheese ravioli & agnolotti. The portions were fairly large so we didn’t have room for dessert; however, they had several scrumptious options to chose from as I couldn’t help myself from viewing the menu. While I can’t recall the names of the cocktails we had, they were well made as our server helped us select a couple according to our preferences (that were on the sweeter side). The restaurant is exquisitely decorated and it was crowded for a Saturday evening, so I highly recommend making reservations.

**Note: This restaurant is located on the inside of the Marriott hotel. ...from the valet personnel treating us like super stars and the host welcoming demeanor and complimenting us on how beautiful we looked and giving us the best seat in the restaurant, this was probably the best dining experience I have had in Cleveland so far. The seating is gorgeous, the patterns, the lighting, just total perfection. Our waiter was so smooth and soft spoken and made us feel like he was our personal waiter. It was our first dinner in Cleveland. The place is so classy, decor and atmosphere. Service was very good and attentive. They knew we just moved here so dessert was complementary and super delicious and creamy. Food is flavorful, high quality ingredients and portions are big. Pasta is made in-house. Drinks well balanced with alcohol and flavorful with a nice variety of options and mixes. Valet is easy and reasonable price.

We had an amazing experience start to finish. Bob the manager was accommodating and got us drinks while we waited for bar seats. John the bartender was incredible. He recommended excellent dishes and every single one of them was exceptional. We had the octopus appetizer, the agnolotti which was so good and the rigatoni. The wines complemented the food perfectly. Everybody was so nice. Highly recommend.

Fine dining and great Italian dishes are the norm here. The customer service was great. We ate on a Monday night so it was not very busy. They sat us at a small table but we had room for the appetizer and main entree. The Rigatoni and the Seafood spaghetti was amazing. The drinks were delicious and potent. The ambience was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. We will be back on our next trip.

VOTED “BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN OHIO” By 5 REASONS TO VISIT February 2023 Il Venetian is stunning and elegant inside with tall ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and modern furnishings! The interior of Il Venetian is a collaboration of both local and Italian designers. Much of the artwork, chandeliers, sculptures, and glasswork was imported directly from Venice and other Italian cities. Of course they have bread service and I think I ate 3 pieces 😳😳 The cheese board was perfect paired with an Il Venetian salad and tomato basil soup! Perfect lunch!

Food was amazing! Make sure you try the grilled octopus, one of our favorite dishes. Plus the cocktails are above standard. Desserts were unique and deliscious. Will visit again. On a side note, many of the dishes reminded me of Lockkeepers in Valley View for those that frequent there.

Last minute reservation and wow!!! This was my first time and my boyfriends second, we are young and I’m delighted to note that no one looked at us like we were in the wrong place… They were able to accommodate us at a lovely table. Service was FANTASTIC and the food was even better! Beautiful ambiance and live music. Even leftovers are delicious.. I’LL BE BACK!

Another incredible evening at Il Venetian. No matter how many times I get it, I continue to be impressed with the grilled octopus appetizer...the presentation, the flavor combinations, cooked to perfection by Chef Alberto. Best octopus out there. Also enjoyed some other appetizers - the tuna with crispy rice (squid ink is a nice touch) and the scampi with polenta (creamy...cheesy...perfect). For mains, we did the veal chop parmigiana, which is hands down the best around...so tender. Also went with the special - anolini stuffed with duck and foie gras. Nice to mix it up from the veal agnolotti I normally order. Service was fantastic and Anthony was right in saying that when Chef Alberto makes anolini, you must order it! Tiramisu to finish it off. Bob also took great care of us as usual. Richard, the valet, always has something friendly to say. Top shelf experience from an exquisite, top shelf Italian place.

The staff is unbelievable! And the comfort level is second and none. I had the squidded fettuccine special and it was beautifully prepared and tasted exactly as I had hoped. The grilled octopus appetizer is probably some of the best octopus that I've ever eaten!

First time visiting and couldn’t have been more impressed! The hospitality, from valet to management, was second to none. Beautiful atmosphere accompanied by every employee seeming to genuinely care and be happy that we were there. The food, presentation and service was just outstanding. Cannot wait to return! UPDATE new review: Il Venetian never fails to guarantee a perfect evening! We’ve been here a bunch of times since discovering it five months ago. As always, everything was completely on point. LOVE the new spring menu specials. If you can request Christine please do, she offers the best hospitality in the city. A must visit if you haven’t already, especially for a special occasion!

Came for dinner the night before the Browns on TNF. Nice crowd, not too crowded. Our server was very pleasant, but didn't come around very often... Carpaccio and meatball appetizer were delicious. Next, beet salad and the Venetian salad. Large, and we were warned. The seasonal greens on the Venetian salad were frisee or something similar this night. Not a fan whatever these greens were,but liked the dressing and the rest of the ingredients. Entrees of agnolotti and cavatelli were both fantastic. Too full for dessert......

This place is amazing! The best staff! Great romantic atmosphere as well. First of all, we decided to start with Wagyu beef carpaccio as an appetizer. It was not my favorite, to be honest! Then, for our main course, we had the Stuffed Agnolotti, the Chicken ILVenetian, and the Spaghetti mixed with seafood. My favorite dish was the veal stuffed Agnolotti, which comes with very delicious pistachio sauce. Very creamy! Will come again to order it! Our waiter well explained the Manu before we ordered because it was our first time here, Great job! I'm allergic to mushrooms, so they make the entire it without them. Appreciate that! We had a complimentary Tiramisu from our waiter. I highly recommend this dessert! Great experience👍

A friend and I came for our birthday lunch. The general manager Bob Humphrey and waitress Krystal were excellent. The food and wine were excellent. This is one of the best restaurants in downtown Cleveland! I would recommend this restaurant to any one!

Fantastic pasta. The rigatoni with the 18 he pasta sauce was perfect. Great service, fantastic mixed drinks, high class dining ambiance. A fair selection of liquor, large selection of wines. I had a few cocktails as well as Weller 12, $25 for a 2oz pour. Underground paid Parking garage beside the mariott was $10, very convenient and safe.

We celebrated a Freinds birthday Friday evening at the Venetian restaurant downtown Cleveland. The restaurant was beautiful and cozy. We were seated immediately. The service was superb. Our waiter Jamil was awesome and very professional. The manager Bob came out and introduced himself. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

We went here for the first time on Valentine’s Day and it was great! We especially loved the service. We had Joseph and he was beyond wonderful!
