OMGOSH! What a wonderful way to relax and break bread after a stressful day at the Cleveland clinic. Scott, the owner, was gracious and welcoming. We had the best scrod and veal parmigiana after delicious mussels. Rachel chatted with us and we have made some new friends! We canโ€™t wait to come back for excellent food and amazing hospitality from these wonderful folks. An absolute must when visiting Little Italy!!๐Ÿทโค๏ธ

Fatherโ€™s Day meal at @guarinoscleveland a 104 year institution on Murray Hill ( little Italy ) Cleveland. Meat ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo( huge portion), garlic bread (literally bread and fresh garlic ), fresh fried mozzarella, a pizza and shrimp wrapped with prosciutto. All very good. Great atmosphere inside and a relaxing patio outside. Solid Italian feast. Service from Layla was attentive but not overbearing

This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants I have gone to. The food was insanely delicious. Juciest meatballs we ever tried. The vibe was beautiful we sat out in the back just a good vibe we loved visiting Cleveland and Guarino's was on rhe top of the list. 9 out of 10.

Having grown up with Italian immigrant parents and living in Italy for 8 years, I don't normally eat in Italian restaurants. I'm almost always disappointed. However, the linguine with frutti di mare was pretty good. The pasta was overcooked, but I know Americans like it that way. The antipasto plate was also quite good. The ambiance is very nostalgic and vintage. I loved that! We had lunch outside. It was very pretty and cozy.

The food was incredible! It smells heavenly from the moment you walk through the door, and the service is awesome! Marilou knew everything about the menu and made an awesome wine recommendation to complement the meal!

First time here and had a great night. Free valet parking lot was awesome due to traffic congestion. Got the stuffed olives and bruschetta apps and both were excellent. The veal parm was good but could have been better with more seasoning. Waitress brought us 1 round of drinks but never offered refills. Other guests in our party loved their entrees. Next time I will try the lasagna.

We were at the Feast of the Assumption in Little Italy and wanted a sit down meal. We were blown away by Guarino's. Half our party of 4 are Italian so they can be picky about good Italian food. The guys had chicken parm, I had lasagna and my SIL had fettuccine Alfredo. The guys loved the chicken parm. My lasagna was the BEST I've ever had. I normally don't order it at restaurants because it disappoints me. This lasagna was large, (tall and wide) and I have a small appetite but I finished it! It was that good. The Alfredo was STUPID GOOD! My hub has been to Alfredo's in NYC and said this is every bit as good. We HIGHLY recommend Guarino's for authentic Italian food in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in the 1940's. Beautiful setting. Great highly professional wait staff. And good cocktails too. I regret not taking pictures of our food. But we're going back soon.

Just an absolutely phenomenal restaurant. By far the best Italian food Iโ€™ve ever experienced while dining out. Beautiful interior with a large outdoor patio that I canโ€™t wait to try out in the summer. This place looks fancy but the prices are incredibly reasonable for the ambiance and the quality of the food. Be sure to ask about the beads! Marilou was so hospitable and told me the whole history of the place. I just moved to the neighborhood and canโ€™t wait to be back to try more. Canโ€™t recommend this place enough!

Good authentic Italian food. Very good coffee. Vegetarian options available (the eggplant parmigiana is very good). Quaint interior with pleasant atmosphere. Clean facilities. Service was slow but thatโ€™s understandable since theyโ€™re short staffed like most restaurants. No Covid protection, however. Staff was unmasked, so get that booster shot before you go. Overall good experience that Iโ€™d recommend while you visit little Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

MaryLou was our server & she is wonderful โค๏ธ Love the atmosphere and the food! The mussels are simple & so delicious!! As you can see, I ate them before I could stop and take a picture ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ The Lasanga is a 60yr old recipe...mopped up my sauce with the bread...soooo good!! The Joe-Lato cocktail ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ highly recommend!

This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, look at the photos of sliced bread they offered. The eggplant was stiff as a pop tart, the pasta rubbery and sauce watery. They replaced the dinner once because it was cold, the second serving was better. The bartender was busy texting. There are better options in the area.

What a perfect gem in Little Italy! Wife and I came for our 20th anniversary. Everything was amazing beginning to end. We often judge restaurants on the quality of their calamari and their marinara. Both were quite possibly the best we've ever had. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp was killer. The Veal Saltimbucco and Chicken Piccata were equally fantastic. The sauces were fresh, and the tiramisu was decadent and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough.

They opened a little early to welcome us. We had driven from Michigan and this was our first stop. The food was delicious and the restaurant was cozy. I actually found and purchased the pasta sauce from a local Kroger.

Please give your money to OTHER hard working, and kind Italian family restaurants in little Italy. Not one, but 2 pieces of hair in my dadโ€™s food. Waiter/owner/staff gaslighted us about it and only covered the cost of the meal.. horrible food anyways. I feel they think because theyve been there so long they can do whatever they want. Many other great restaurants. This happened in 2020 and I have just gotten around to leaving a review. We go to Mama Santas now :)

I went to this restaurant as a last minute change of plans. I was originally going to go to the restaurant next door, but there was no parking and this place offered valet parking. I also decided to choose the restaurant because the Valet Driver informed me that this Italian Restaurant is over 100 years old. So I figured it had to be good food if this place has been around for that long. And OMG was I right! ๐Ÿ˜ The food there was to die for! ๐Ÿคค I'm not even joking when I say I have never in my life tasted food that good! ๐Ÿฅฐ And the whole atmosphere of the place was amazing! The place isn't very big but when you first walk in there is live music- people playing Guitar, Cello, Saxophone and other instruments. There's a beautiful bar to your left, and tables scattered all throughout the back. They even have these cute candles at every table! I brought my 3-year-old with me and my date to the restaurant, he was super fussy and acting like a typical three-year-old, but the staff were so helpful bringing him crackers and juice while we waited for our food. Oh let me also mention that they have an incredible menu, I highly recommend the Gnocchi with Grilled Chicken. Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed! Their wine is a 10 out of 10 and they also have a lasagna that mentions on the menu that it's a very old recipe and yes it's also very tasty! ๐Ÿคค This was probably one of the coolest nicest best tasting restaurant that I've ever been too, oh and I almost forgot to mention it was also affordable as well! What more could u ask for in a restaurant? This place has you covered! From the time you pull up till the time you leave, you're in good hands!

Amazing experience in Little Italy! The food was spectacular and I've already asked my husband to make it a tradition to eat here when we visit Cleveland. The veal saltimbocca was easily one of the best meals I've ever had and lemon mascarpone cake was light and fresh. The patio was closed when we visited, but we've heard it's wonderful and hope to try it on a future visit. The interior is maybe a bit dated, but still welcoming and great for a date night.

My husband and I saw many good reviews online for Guarino's. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I ordered the lasagna and it was good and flavorful. My husband ordered the much raved about chicken picatta. The sauce was bland and the lemon flavor tasted like Real Lemon from a bottle, not fresh lemon. For the price it would have been nice to have a salad included. Will not be back.

๐Ÿ‘ March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
