(7/9/22)The best burger I've ever had!!! Thank you Ricardo and Nora Nora served my wife and I and she was super nice and caring. My wife had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I had the House Burger. The Chicken Sandwich was nice and crispy topped with house slaw. The Sriracha Aioli was a nice touch to go with the Chicken Sandwich. The House Burger was the best burger I've ever had. It's a beef pattie topped with smoked apple wood bacon, fried egg, and cheddar underneath the patty. This burger is juice and flavorful. Both dishes came with the pomme frits. These fries are super thin and crispy. It come with a house ketchup on the side. We'll be back.

5 stars for Appetizers, 3 stars for entrees and desserts, 5 stars for service, and 5 stars for the chef's flexibility to accommodate and ensure no cross contamination for allergens. Appetizers are where it is at! They were phenomenal. Mine was so good, I ordered another braised mushroom to go home and enjoy. Also, both diners have weird allergies, and the staff were so accommodating. First, making sure to find out if any of the food contained our allergens, then taking the time to make our meal separate from other guests meals. It took a bit longer, but that kind of service is not common at all, and it is very appreciated. Can't wait to come back! 4 appetizers, 2 desserts, 2 entries, 1 beer, and 1 cocktail.

First timer here. The service was top-notch and attentive. The food was fantastic. Flavorful, fresh and very tasty. The prices are fairly reasonable for the quality and type of food you are getting. And if you're lucky enough you just may see a fat cat wandering around. They do have a parking lot but it is very small. There is street parking if you could find a spot.

If you are in the area stoping at Fat Cats is a must. Parking lot is small but plenty of street parking. Beautiful view of the city, great outdoor dining. I had the pasta fagioli which was good and the steak tacos which I totally recommend. My wife had the House burger which had bacon and a fried egg. Food was created scratch cooked quality and the price was unbelievable for a restaurant so good. We will be back!

We walked in to Fat Cats on a rainy Saturday and the host was incredibly accommodating and sat us immediately. The service was prompt and our orders and drinks were bright in a timely fashion on a busy service day. Our food was incredible. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious with a fresh vegetable slaw. The sweet potato fries accompanied were delicious as well and paired well with the house ketchup which seemed home-made. The house burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to come back.

Very cool little bar / restaurant. Parking is very limited. There is a small lot but street parking is probably easier. Keep in mind street parking can be hard to find in the area depending on when you go. The food was very good and the waiter and host were very friendly. The mushrooms were amazing and the anchovies were very good as well. Actually everything we had was very good. Will be going back.

I had such high hopes for this place. The restaurant looks so cozy from out outside, so eclectic inside, I was hoping for simply amazing lunch. The staff was super polite and very attentive. The lady that greeted us in the front room had a very good idea of what was happening and invited us to sit at the bar while our table was getting ready. My friend order dishes they enjoyed, ribeye sandwich and fried chicken were great according to them. Unfortunately, my burger fell short. It was plain and messy. The burger patty was so plain that I had to request other condiments to finish it. Fries were more soggy than crisp. Luckily, I also order butternut squash soup which was very good. The parking situation can be tricky. The restaurant has a very small parking lot and the street parking is limited

This is a very nice place. Beautiful views, pleasant atmosphere, and generally nice folks all around. All of the staff that I encountered were welcoming and helpful. Our waiter, Justin, was awesome! I ordered the Bbq ribs, and they were pretty good. The first couple of bites were a little bit more chewy than I expected them to be, but as I continued to eat, it got better. The Korean soy barbecue sauce that tops the ribs is quite different from any other BBQ sauce I've had before. It's literally a soy sauce based sauce with red pepper flakes and some other flavors that make for an interesting experience for your palate. If you like beer, I would recommend the Peanut Butter Stout to pair with this dish. It was delicious! My friends ordered the Swordfish Tacos and the Crab Melt sandwich, respectively. And we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Perhaps my only gripe would be that there's no indoor waiting area. The only space they have to wait for a table is outside on the side of the building. I appreciated that they set up some radiant heaters to help their customers endure the wait. But, that's exactly what we had to do, endure the wait! This is Cleveland, Ohio, people! And it gets cold in the winter, especially so close to the lake. So, that could be better. Oh, and there's barely any parking. But that's Tremont! So that is a situation that you expect going in. But, overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Fat Cats! I would definitely recommend it.

Found this place through DDD while visiting for the weekend. Whole menu looked amazing, ended up going with the ribeye sandwich from the seasonal menu. Very much recommend it for others, great baguette, perfectly done steak and onions, delicious fries. Nice souvenirs and sauces available on the way out as well. Would definitely return on another trip to Cleveland.

After having been once before for apps, finally got to go for dinner tonight. It was awesome! We went for my grandma’s 92nd birthday and she was so excited to try a new restaurant and very pleased with the food. Our table shared vegan lumpia and vegan calamari - both were great! The waitress even gave us an additional lumpia to make sure all 4 of us got one 😊 For dinner, funnily enough, my girlfriend, dad, and grandma ALL had the tofu noodle bowl 😂 It was a little on the smaller side, but the tofu was delicious. I got the tofu banh mi sandwich, which came with sweet potato fries. I loved it! The tofu here is seriously so amazing. We also got potato soup to-go for my mom, but review is still pending on that. I was also shocked that it only came to $89 for four entrees, two apps, and soup. Nice prices! It’s also so eclectic and cute with bright colors and a gorgeous view of the city right when you walk outside. Love, love, love Fat Cats! Oh - awesome service too🤩

Chose this place randomly because it is 6min walk from our airbnb due to the eclectic menu of different cuisines including Filipino food (which I absolutely love). Everything we had was absolutely fantastic, from the perogies to the fried chicken sandwich which was SOOOO good. I wish I lived closer because I would come back so many times to try this menu. Also saw this place was on diners, drive ins, and dives from the tag on the wall which was always a good thing to hear. But for real this food was super bomb and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I was looking forward to this place for a while.. had been on my list and picked a nice summer evening to finally visit. Their menu is very intriguing. We started with a couple of drinks. I almost went for one of the cocktails before I found out it was canned… opted for a mojito but it had just two little leaves of mint as garnish? Meh. See food pictures for commentary. You’re gonna need at least two dishes per person to get full here. Service was okay. She did her job - no complaints or compliments. Bathroom was nice and clean. Parking was easy. Conclusion… less than impressed, but would try again. I give it a generous 4 stars.

Great atmosphere! Located in a clean safe area right by the beltline with a beautiful view. The menu was unique, the food was delicious, the portions where not too large. The staff was friendly and the patio allows dogs.

Fabulous Vegan and non Vegan choices. We had the vegan Calamari, vegan dumplings, Tofu noodle bowl and my husband had the crab melt. Everything was delicious. My husband said the crab melt was the best one he’s ever had. Service amazing. We sat outside. Love love this place. Run do not walk to the restaurant!

The appetizers were great, but I got the Pancit with Pork Belly, and it was not very good. The pork belly was dry, and there was barely any there. My friend got the pasta bowl, and he enjoyed that very much. The service was fantastic and it was a fun, cute atmosphere. All in all, I would recommend for a fun evening out.

It was my first time here for Saturday brunch. I got the brunch burger and the pierogis which were really good. The only take away I didn't care for was the outdoor seating is communal but even still was very enjoyable. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable, I will go back to try more food. The menu was incredible

I cannot with this place I was so disappointed. It was a waste of my birthday brunch with my family. My pork meatballs were raw on my Bahnmi sandwich. Thank goodness I looked down at my after I bit into it. The salad on my calamari was confusing and I’m not sure it was washed. I’ll spare everyone details but my stomach is very upset. I’m so sad because I was really excited to try Fat Cats.

Stopped in recently to meet up with an old friend for a business meeting and realized I had never left a review for this place! The food here is incredible and the services is on point! Although I only had cocktails and an app during this visit I can assure you this is a great place to grab a bite to eat.

🔥🔥🔥. I had the fish and chips. Wife had the fish tacos. So good. We are happy we stopped here for a quick lunch. Didn’t make reservations just ate at the bar. It’s not that big so reservations are a good idea. Great service. We will be back.

Cute little place, but the food was a bit underwhelming especially with all of the great menu items and high reviews. The banh mi wasn’t very flavorful and the fries weren’t the best. But, the ambience was super cool and the service was exceptional!

Really cool restaurant- not your traditional “all American” choices, but very tasty nonetheless!! We split (between two people) the Bao pork buns, chicken sandwich and chocolate cake, the sweet potato fries were slightly underdone but otherwise the food was splendid, especially the sticky bread of the buns and the crispy nature of the sandwich. The service was all around both speedy and friendly! If we lived in Ohio we would definitely be back!

Cute homey atmosphere and a variety of vegan options! We ordered the tofu bahn mi and the tofu curry. The tofu is breaded which gives it a nice crispy texture. I think it could've been nice if the curry was served with rice but it was still tasty. Would come again!

Surprising and worth the wait. The Pork Banh Bao was amazing. Its pork was crisp, flavorful, and the sauce had a good kick. The Lobster Bisque was buttery, creamy, and had super tiny bits of lobster meat. I expected the Adobo Fried Chicken to come out coated in an adobo sauce. Instead, it was more of a dry crispy exterior that I was surprised by. It was BEYOND crunchy. They nailed the breading. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. Its coleslaw wasn't cream or mayo-based, but instead a vinegar or brine and was very good. It came with what felt like a tzatziki or tartar sauce, again, not what I was expecting but paired well. The jasmine rice it came with was a liiiiiitle mushy, but it wasn't terrible. The Fish Tacos were also good. The tortilla they came in was almost like naan bread or a pita. Unique flavors all around. Service was prompt, polite, and seemed level-headed even though it was a full house with lines out the door. I must have seen the cooks coming in through the front door with fresh ingredients at least 3 times and servers coming and going from the basement all night. It was also great to see them wearing their Fat Cats merch. The atmosphere was cozy, dark, and had lots of string lights. You can tell it was 3 houses combined to make the whole building the restaurant. Really cool exposed brick and original hardwood flooring. They were also playing GREAT music. It felt like a modern nightclub with house or EDM music, but it was quiet. You could still carry on a conversation easily. We will definitely be back!

Great food, wish the sweet potato fries were thicker to taste the sweet potato. Great area don’t think they have parking i park on the street unless is the lot across the street from the restaurant. They have an order pick up window, no regular beverage mostly alcoholic beverages. Great price for the food. Will go again and recommend.

Phenomenal fusion small plates!! Try one of everything if you can, and your bill will just reflect how hungry you are! Sat at the bar while we were waiting for a table (not long) and the service was lovely. We were fortunate enough to be staying at the apartment upstairs so we were able to stuff ourselves with beer and food and stumble home. Chef Ricardo was an incredible host and made our dining experience one to remember!

The food is fabulous. I had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and they couldn't have been any better. My husband had a pasta dish with a side of crispy brussel sprouts (this is the only time he can get them, while we're out). We grew up in the Tremont neighborhood where Fat Cats is located. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and we spent the afternoon touring our old neighborhood. There are a few other restaurants we want to check out in the future. Fat Cats was great!

My eggs Norwegian was gently salty & perfect. They have Sriracha which is my fave hot sauce. The French toast was not too sweet & enjoyed very much. Such a great find!
