If you really want the basics in a meal, homemade , filling and at very reasonable prices, Becky's is the place! Practically the entire menu is under $10.00, but the quality of the food does not suffer. We had a wonderful salad with quality greens, not iceberg lettuce. The appetizer featured vegetables served onto potato skins, fabulous! The coleslaw and applesauce were homemade and delicious! My Impossible Vegetarian Burger was so good!! They prepare their vegan meals on a separate grill with separate utensils, which I found very comforting. The decor is casual, and attracts a clientele of workers and students from nearby Cleveland State University. Great server, took care of us with no problems, and the owner is a very nice gentleman as well. A fine local restaurant to visit, we will definitely be back!!🤗🤗

I haven’t been coming to this place long but when I do visit, I have a great time and experience. The people are friendly and the food is good. My favorite items on the menu are: chicken salad club and veggie potato skins. They are to die for! Happy hours are from 3:00p - 7:00p. Even open on Sundays. I recommend everyone to this establishment. Thank you for the kind service and great food!

I would recommend Becky’s for happy hour and dinner. The bar service was fast and friendly. The burger and fries were pretty good, on par with standard dive bar food. Can’t beat $2.50 wells on happy hour either. Will definitely be back!

Great local + college hybrid bar! You can meet some really fun and interesting people. Decent spot to watch a game, but TVs are somewhat limited - definitely not a sports bar. Food is great! Highly recommend trying whatever looks good on the menu - never had anything that disappointed me. Bartenders have all been amazing, polite, and patient with all customers. The only knock is that it can get too busy and overwhelm the bar. Generally well worth it - just get two drinks at a time those days!

The food was tasty and the service was great and the people are so nice and friendly the place nice and clean and you get your money worth will be back.thw wings are pricey.

I stopped here after getting after attending an event at the CSU convocation center. After year's of living in Cleveland, I stopped for the first time. Good bar food; wing's, a dinner salad, and a full bar. Amiable staff. Traditional style, classic bar atmosphere. I felt a nice vibe here. Unpretentious and friendly. I will visit again.

The food is great!!!! If you get to try it. They always are out of things. Last night know chicken salad, jerk wing sauce, potato skins ect.... And the wing had no sauce !! Everyone at the bar had to ask for sauce. Where's the other cook?? The food wasn't hitting that spot like it usually do.. but running out on a Friday night. But that's the only time a could say I had a issue here. I'll still be back...maybe don't go late night go for lunch..

I like a lot of things about Becky's, but I wish they would fix or replace their furniture, as the duct tape on their stools has gotten on my clothes more than once. It takes a nice experience and sours it badly. But otherwise, a fun college/local bar.

Food is good "WHEN" you can get it..been there the last 3 times in Sept & Oct..the 1st time there kitchen was closed @ 8pm..but bar closed @ 10pm,sign on the door. Time after that,they didn't serve food again because of kitchen staff. The last time,the night kitchen staff didn't show up @ all. RIDICULOUS, only reason I drove 25 minutes there. But before that, never had a food issue, except they haven't had those GREAT RIDICULOUS mozzarella stickers. Definitely one of there best seller. They haven't had them in months!! Very sad!! Food was always good,service not the best..bartenders act as if they don't see you when you arrive..they do not greet you & make you wait to long. I'm all about good a greeting & service that makes you want to come back.

Becky's is a casual place to dine. The kitchen can be slow. If you want to eat there before a show (and you want to be on time), give yourself at least 2 1/2 hours. It took our food an hour to be served to us. It's a great place to just hang with some friends, though.

My partner and I used to come in regularly, they always had solid made to order burgers. However the last 2-3 times we have came in there has been an issue. Yesterday was the last straw, we ordered our usual burgers and when it came out they had cut the patty in half and served it to us. Actually crazy. I let the bartender know but at that point we had already been waiting an hour and just wanted to leave. Too bad this place took such a nosedive

I'm sure they were short staffed like everyone else nowadays. Had lunch with a friend. They brought out half his food first which was suppose to go to a different table. About a half hour later they brought out my food and his fries. Had to ask for silverware after food was served. Just didn't seem like they had their stuff together. Staff was friendly and apologized.

Menu is limited and while prices aren’t bad the food portions were small compared to price. Burgers are greasy but good flavor. Service was slow. Patron orders and pays for food and drinks at bar. .

Ivy,Tim and the Becky's staff is so wonderful. The food is great too. I got the Philly, my Aunt got Becky's burger and they both were delicious. My brother worked there,& he recently passed away and the kindness,& help Ivy & Tim extended to me is beyond what most places do. Not only was food amazing but the love and caring they show to people is above and beyond. Thank you Tim, Ivy,& rest of Staff

Loved it in the 80's when I was at Cleveland State...It has withstood the test of time...Not a flashy place, but that is why I love...Still.pretty much looks like it did then!...Perhaps the Best Kept Secret in Cleveland...Bar food 2nd to none!.. And the Pirohy are OUTSTANDING!!!!...Friendly, Fun and Courteous Staff makes it even better!

One of my favorite places. Great place to go before downtown/Agora events. Convenient lot and plenty of free street parking. Top-notch bar food. Cant go wrong with cheeseburger and tots. Or wings. Friday fish fry is good. Staff is always friendly.

This place is okay for people of color if you don't mind the grunge look of the staff. It takes the food awhile to arrive averaging about forty minutes. The food is good, but if you like your potato tots hot you will have to request it. Overall, this is truly a Flintstone bar with a good atmosphere to get something to eat and drink then keep it moving.

1st time, Had a good bacon cheeseburger and I can't complain. It was a nice tasty meaty burger. My friend got the pierogi sandwich and enjoyed that. They have a decent selectionl of bottled and canned beers and a handful of the usual draft beers, Got myself a can of Masthead beer, I'm a fan of them. Bar looks loaded with all your alcohols to make other drinks. Has a simple neighborhood bar vibe. Not super fancy not super rough, parking was easy.

Went sat night after Iliza show at the playhouse. Took 45 min to get food, even though other patrons came in after us and got food before we did. Bartender/ waitress said she would check on it, came back 15 min later with food. After we went to see why she didn't come back. We could see her in the kitchen talking to someone but did not tell update us at all. Should of just left. Burger was terrible bread was soggy. I ordered mushrooms and onions with NO cheese and, was not a fan of canned mushrooms. Food came out with cheese. She took it back the plate back only to bring it the burger with the same onion rings so they were served to me cold. Never apologized said the food shouldnt have taken that long. Did give us gift certificates to come back. Sorry but I never will. This place was terrible. Ps for the people who did get their food hot fresh and in a decent amount of time, order the wings, that was what everyone who was there ordered

Stumbled on this place just by chance when we were looking for a fast meal. We were really surprised how good the service and the food were. Next time we are in Cleveland, we will absolutely eat here again!!!
