Great service. The food is delicious although it would recommend a little more attention to the Mexican flavor since it lacks the Mexican touch. I am from Mexico and can give the Mexican touch (the tacos al pastor are with corn tortillas and not flour tortillas).

Food is really good. Service is really friendly. Chips are the BOMB. Margaritas too sweet and need some mixology work.....that would of made it 5 star

Fresh chips, extremely friendly service. Nice taco bar. We decided to try a new restaurant on a quiet Sunday in Downtown Cleveland. The staff was very happy to see customers come in on a quiet day. Very friendly and treated us like family. Will definitely go back next time we are downtown.

Details dont describe the size. This dish was HUGE and delicious. I could barely get through half of it and I was starved prior. Outstanding food. Only downside that lost a star was the amount if grease on soft shell. The rest was delicious!

The food & drinks at Puente Viejo were amazing! Our server was very attentive and made great drink recommendations. The owner stopped at our table a few times to check on us, as we were in Cleveland from out of town and he gave us ideas for things to do during our visit. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Place just opened in Feb 2017, very friendly staff. The have a great selection of tequila, but don't have a list. Tried the exotico blanco, was pretty good. The tacos are a great deal and you get to put the fresh fixings on yourself. Pleasantly surprised.

Service was a little slow for us but the food was authentic and awesome. Other reviewers are right when they say you get LOTS OF FOOD - we were stuffed & took some home :) P.S. I felt kind of bad for the manager because I could see he was doing most the grunt work... but it shows he knows what he's doing! We will be returning!

Loved the decor, particularly the different light fixtures and the wall mural. The tiles and timber wood was minimal but gave enough of a nod to Mexican culture to feel authentic without feeling kitschy or forced Service was great. Large menu. I got a la cart tacos and stuffed them with extra veggies, cheese and salsa from the taco bar. ¡Muy bien!

I used to be a "Mexican-dinner-once-a-month" kinda person... but Puente Viejo changed everything! We tried it for lunch one day and it was good but service was sub par so weren't sure if we'd go back. THEN we moved into the area and while walking past it, one of the bartenders, Sean, invited us to stop in for a drink. He's an amazing bartender with years of experience in making drinks. If he asks you to trust him, you should- he won't disappoint. And he would make it right if you didn't like your drink. I am SO glad we gave it another chance! For the first time in my life I ordered something different and was blown away with their chimichangas. They are stuffed full of white meat chicken and their chilli con queso (blanco) is amazing. Every time we go there the chips come out warm and service is great all the way around. I brought my parents here for lunch and they loved it as well (and they're Mexican snobs!) We sat on their outdoor patio but they have a beautiful dining room. They consider themselves a tequila bar rather than Mexican restaurant, anyways- but you can definitely feel the differences in the decor and ambiance. Love this spot and it's a welcomed surprise in Playhouse Square.

I'm sorry but these are probably the worst tacos Ive ever had. Chicken tacos were soggy chicken tacos that were supposed to be shredded but were not at all. i go to pick it up and its deteriorating from it being so soggy. there was like a handful of cilantro just thrown on top of both tacos. when people order fish tacos who doesnt break it up?! you just fry it and throw it on there like a fish sandwhich? then the fish has no flavor. this was a complete waste of money. i understand youre closing soon but that shouldnt justify not even caring about the food that goes out of your door. i feel like I was just robbed. this was so disappointing.
