Cool diner attached to the West Side Market. Everything you expect from a little diner...but it also has a good selection of local beers. Serves breakfast all day and has other food too. Service is personable and attentive. Food was good, liked the chorizo wrap, but it took a while to come out. Tables inside and out with about a 8 person bar. Will be back.

Classic diner atmosphere. Don’t expect gourmet meals. Tasty, classic dishes priced well! The food is great comfort breakfast and lunch entrees. Connected to the side of historic Westside Market. A great morning stop for a quick bite. Pictured is the Monte Cristo and eggs and bacon.

Great old school diner feel with a menu of traditional and unique options. Try the kielbasa hash and eggs if it's on special when you are there! Can get very busy but tables turnover pretty quick, worth a little weight. I haven't had lunch here yet, but if the breakfast is anything to go off of, I'm stopping next time I'm in Cleveland!

Love this place! The shrimp and grits is soooo good! One of our favorite go-to joints in Cleveland.

I've never been to a market place such as this. It was quite the experience, from the rich history of the district to the fascinating architecture of the place. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was amazing! We finished our lunch then took a stroll through the market and ended up buying dessert from a couple different vendors 🍨!

Very good service. The food was hot when served. The coffee was good. I had the Chicken Paprikash. My wife had chicken and waffles. The food was excellent.

We stopped here on a Monday morning last month before heading up to see the Rock and Roll H of F. Our service was pleasant and the vibe was a diner, so we had high hopes for the food as well. We decided to split up a few things in order to try more food, so we ordered the Belgian Waffle, brunch wrap, and corned beef hash with eggs. We ended up with an order of the potatoes, as they came out instead of our pitatoes o brien (much better choice). The waffle was very good, eggs typical scrambled, and the corned beef good. My husband enjoyed the brunch wrap, but it was my least favorite of everything we ordered. A decent choice if you are in the area as we were, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

I really enjoyed the food here. We stopped in for lunch. It was crowded but we were able to obtain a seat quickly. The portion sizes were plentiful and the taste was very good. I would highly recommend this establishment for a quality and filling meal

We had an excellent breakfast at West Side Market cafe while visiting the market. There was a short wait for a table, but less than 10 minutes and they texted us when our table was ready so we could continue browsing the market. The food was good, with large portions and reasonably priced. I had the hot mess which is scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage gravy over home fry potatoes.

Great dinner. Breakfast served all day, and also lunch. Cornbread waffle and chicken was fantastic. Eggs Benedict and kilbasa hash (on weekends) also great. Daughter had the burger and it was great (came with bacon). Server, Kathleen, was the perfect personality and the service was great. Highly recommended- might be a little wait, but worth it.

We ordered the corned beef hash for breakfast. The flavor was great, but we wish there was more meat! The service was great, very friendly. The pierogi were also very good, as well as the fish sandwich, both of which we took to go.

First time we stopped in. The waitress was really nice and joked around with us. After looking at the menu, which looked good I decided to go with the special chicken paprikash and a bowl of broccoli soup. I loved them both. Definitely will go back. A plus they have a bunch of TV's to watch Saturday college football

First time there and I ordered the Tex Mex Scramble breakfast meal with chorizo and it was amazingly delicious. Need a breakfast spot I would recommend it. Definitely will be going back to try another meal.

Absolutely loved it here! It was packed everywhere with the waiting time but they’re quick once you get in. They have a great selection of breakfast classics. Upon arrival you will just devour it all. You can’t go wrong especially if you’re killing time this is the place to be.

Unbelievable food, made quick and fresh in the middle of a historic treasure. The Chorizo Rancheros were that best I've ever had. My husband had the Hot Mess that was home on a plate. The server was Super friendly and brought such to the experience. I HIGHLY recommend this if in Cleveland!

At the West Side Market Cafe in Cleveland, I found a haven for the hearty appetites and discerning palates. The breakfast menu, robust and rich, echoes the spirit of the American morning. The corned beef sandwiches, hearty and savory, pay homage to the Midwest's culinary prowess, a true delight for the connoisseur. And then there's the walleye sandwich, a symphony of flavors that captures the essence of the Great Lakes. Each bite tells a tale of craftsmanship and dedication to quality ingredients. In this bustling market, where the aroma of fresh produce mingles with the sizzle of grills, I discovered a culinary experience as genuine and bold as the characters in my novels. West Side Market Cafe is where taste meets tradition, a place that honors the essence of American cuisine. A meal here is a literary journey through flavors, leaving one craving for the next chapter.

We came for a late breakfast (just before noon) and the restaurant was pretty busy. Our first table was in a high traffic zone. We requested to move to a booth, and found it to be a much better experience. The servers were very nice and attentive, and we enjoyed our meal. My husband’s toast was burnt at first, but they were quick to bring a replacement. The only thing I would change would be to add non-dairy creamers/milk as condiment options for the coffee.

It's exactly what they call it, a hot mess.😒 It tastes like poverty. Took me back to my horrible childhood. Service was okay. But the food, I'd rather eat a bag of ramen noodles with no flavor packet. 💁‍♀️ Please don't get this item if you decide to eat here. This was garbage. That's exactly where it went. In the trash. Oh, I did eat the delicious toast, though.

Good food, large portions, plenty of seatings available. Bar area present. Hostess asked if I was ready to make my “ big decision” on the menu and I didnt regret it 🤓

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. Pros: * Clean restaurant with a bar and plenty of TVs on the walls. * Friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. It was not very busy so...
