Located
at
the
bottom
of
a
historic
building
(Western
Reserve
Building),
Mel's
is
a
must!
We
found
out
about
him
on
Yelp,
and
his
cafe
is
a
hidden
gem!
Yelp
reviewers
noted
that
they
come
down
from
work
during
workdays
for
breakfast
and
lunch,
that
the
owner
is
a
great
conversationalist,
makes
everything
fresh,
and
would
make
whatever
you
want
if
it's
not
on
his
menu,
and
our
experience
was
spot
on
with
this.
We
visited
on
kielbasa
omelette
special
day
(we
ordered
one,
of
course),
and
also
ordered
two
kielbasa
egg
sandwiches
on
croissants.
YUM!!!!
So
delicious
and
even
our
toddler
gobbled
some
up!
They
just
handed
over
chunks
of
extra
kielbasa
just
because
we
told
them
our
toddler
would
love
it
and
eat
it.
We
took
our
order
to
go
(there
are
only
two
small
tables
to
eat
in
anyway),
and
ate
by
the
river
(by
'The
Flats').
The
building
is
just
a
block
from
the
water
and
when
we
visited
(Tuesday
mid-morning),
there
was
easy
metered
parking
right
across
the
street.
'Mel'
is
actually
the
initials
of
the
owner's
three
daughters;
the
owner's
name
is
Angelo.
They
were
so
nice,
personable,
and
professional.
We
would
definitely
return
if
we
ever
run
through
Cleveland
again!
Even
though
he
has
5
star
ratings
with
20-30
reviews
on
Yelp,
we
just
had
to
put
Mel's
on
the
map
with
a
Google
review!
