Came here a couple days ago with a friend of mine after working night shift, and I definitely don't regret it! I got the Irish Benedict and lemon ricotta pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! As far as ambiance and environment, the restaurant did feel a bit cramped, but it certainly wasn't a huge deal. I would definitely come back to try their other flavors of pancakes!

amazing service, food, location and atmosphere. Quickly fixed any issues even during very busy 4th of July morning. Highly recommend the Lemon Ricotta pancake.

Had a delicious veggie omelet here — I subbed feta for the American cheese. Yum! Will definitely go back. Frequent coffee refills. My only complaint was the wobbly table (by the window, on the right). Fix the wobble, otherwise it was pretty perfect!

Despite being busy, we were seated quickly and our server was quick with the menu, attentive to details. The menu offers typical diner fare and most items are reasonably priced. Food was prepared quickly as the kitchen was closing, portions are not too big and that's a good thing.

I hadn’t visited this place in probably 25 years. Nice to see some things never change. Loved the Eggs Benedict, service was great, and the Lemon Ricotta pancake is to die for. People complaining that it’s underdone don’t seem to understand that it’s ricotta! It’s not going to have a cake-like texture! Worth the wait!

It was our first time checking the Inn On Coventry out today. I will say that I still have no idea who our server was because no server ever came to our table to take our order. I had to go to the gentleman (who was extremely nice and thank goodness for him!) at the front to say that it had been almost 30 minutes of sitting without anyone taking our order. He took it upon himself to come over and take our order because they were pretty busy. However, the 4 top that was seated after our four top and the four top that was seated just before us all had been waited on in an appropriate amount of time while we were left sitting. The food was pretty good. My stepson really enjoyed his Rueben and the sausage and biscuits were good. I enjoyed the mimosas! I think this is a one and done for our family as there are many other places in the area that offer similar food.

We have loved this place for many years, unfortunately since they've been sold it's absolutely terrible. We were so sad to see how much it has changed, for the worse. We have always loved their Benedicts but they are nearly inedible now. The hollandaise was really awful, no lemon at all, broken, flavorless, gelatinous sauce, (tasted like a mix maybe?), and the smallest triangle of horrifyingly salty ham I've ever seen. The saddest part, our favorite, the lemon ricotta pancakes we're literally raw batter. When we showed the server she said, "the bottom one looks a little more done?"🤣🙄 Didn't offer to have them remade, didn't immediately remove them and tell the kitchen. Nope. Nothing. The server was trying, but when the kitchen was sending out food in what seemed to be a completely random order, she just hollered out "guys, I can only bring out what they give me", even though I didn't see anyone complaining. The decor has been horrendously changed from homey and quaint, to a black and grey Modern Farmhouse nightmare. It's cold and uninviting. That coupled with the terrible food, and so-so service means we likely won't be back. We are so, so bummed.

Very typical diner fare: coffee, home fries, eggs, etc. On the other hand, their pancakes are not typical at all. They are exceptional! So fluffy and delicious!

This was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Service was prompt and professional. Prices are decent. Cozy little spot with great food. Our server Mike was on top of it. This place is an example of how service should be. They all helped each other out, and it made for a great experience.

Not sure what has changed, but Inn on Coventry held a special place in my heart before COVID. When I came back Dec 2023, i was sorely disappointed. Sure it was a Saturday around 11, so i expected a wait. However, we waited over one hour to receive our very mediocre food. Apparently there were 6 or 7 tables before us all waiting because there was a backlog of orders on delivery apps. Sounds like yall need to limit your accepted online orders or something if you are unable to serve the people in your store in a timely fashion. One of our party had wanted the gingerbread pancakes, which was advertised on their blackboard and they had run out earlier in the week, but we were told they ran out… again. Maybe best to take that off the blackboard or update it if you’re gonna be out of it frequently. What was worse, when our server after asking us what drinks we wanted and we let him know we ready to order food too, he sternly told us not to rush him. I’m sorry for asking to order food in a restaurant? He did apologize later on in the morning for the then 40+ minute wait. Overall, was very disappointed and sadly, do not anticipate on being back.

This is not only the cutest little restaurant but it’s run like a fine oiled machine. The service was amazing our waitress was so polite and helpful. The food was so good seasoned perfectly, great portions and it was served quickly!! We aren’t from the Cleveland area but will come back just for this little restaurant!!

The Inn on Coventry was a nice breakfast spot. The mere fact that ot was open on a Monday is a huge plus. The breakfast was served hot, and the food was fresh. The staff kept the coffee cups full. Even though the food took some time to come out, it was explained up front that everything was cooked to order. I would highly recommend the Inn for breakfast.

My guy and I enjoyed our food. Everything tasted fresh and and most importantly from scratch. Nothing tasted truly processed. The food came out in a timely fashion we were impressed and very pleased. Definitely was crowded when we went but that did not affect their performance or customer service. We will be returning. I hope this helps... Peace and many blessings to yo

I visited on new Year's day. Given at the time in the morning they were not that busy attentiveness was very low. And the food that was served was not good either. The waitress who was serving me was very clumsy it seemed and you will not be attended good if you don't show up in a big party hence promising good tips. Overall for one egg Benedict and a cup of coffee i was charged $15 given the breakfast or coffee wasn't good at all.

BEWARE OF ITEMS IN YOUR FOOD!! My co-worker placed an order for us in-store and waited over an hour for our food just to say they were out of pancakes. They had to refund them for the pancakes and then continued to wait for our order. The atmosphere was TERRIBLE and UNINVITING. Definitely not the previous owners! The customer service is awful. Once we got our order, this was the result… to say the least the Better Business Bureau and the health department was contacted and an investigation was started. I called and spoke to the owner and all he did was apologize and tell us to throw it out. He took my info and said he would call but 30 minutes later no call!

Very small place with way too many tables crammed in. Service is the slowest and most awful I've ever had. Been waiting 45 minutes for our food which was a simple eggs benedict and pancakes with biscuits and gravy. My water cup is filthy, had to get my own sugar for coffee after waiting to ask the waitress but, while very nice, she didn't come to check on us. 0/10 would not visit again. Can't comment on the food because after nearly an hour, it never arrived and we left because we have other things to do today. Before we left, our waitress checked and there were still 5 orders ahead of us. No thank you! Awful, awful, awful!!!

I haven't been here in years. Not a lot of the atmosphere has changed, it's still very charming. Our server Mike was great, very attentive and polite. My omelette was delicious. I always order egg white with just veggies and no cheese or butter. It was perfect. My friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes and she said they were delicious. Will definitely be back!

Went to the Inn this morning for breakfast and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, great food, and fast service. They gave the kids crayons and a coloring sheet when we sat down! The crab cake Benedict and omelet was amazing. The kids really enjoyed their chocolate chip pancake. We will for sure be coming back.

Breakfast here for the price and flavor is just a perfect combo. Usually opening seating, but this time joined with a party of 8. Staff easily moved chairs around and were able to accommodate. Table ordered many varieties of food but the sausage and biscuit was the best flakey and carb loaded combo of flavors.

Great portions, great price, great taste! Crab cake benedict absolutely deserves to be on their favorites, it was so delicious! $13 for it, ain't bad either! Also their pancakes are insanely big, I don't think I've ever seen any bigger than theirs actually. The apple cinnamon ones are to die for as well. The flavor in everything was just so good! Also, all the staff seemed happy to be working there and it just made for a very pleasant experience, despite it being so busy when my husband and I went.

As close to a diner as you can find in Cleveland heights. This is a small but friendly place with a diner menu and fair prices. Food is tasty and cooked to order. My blt was not quite as I like... I ordered on while grain toast but got white untoasted. Did not send it back. Would try again.

Well we definitely did not done in the main dining room so maybe the front is better. Rather, we were at two small tables tucked in the back. Between the noises of the kitchen, the hustling and bustling of the wait staff behind us and the bizarre , decorations, including a painting, that waiters knocked into almost every time they passed, and the charming institutional incarceration gray walls, not best atmosphere. We had mixed reviews of peoples breakfast in my group, but mine was quite tasty, and our waiter was lovely. I think it must be nicer if you aren’t seated in the prison section. Try the Kentucky scramble.
