Great place to hear your favorite local and non local people preform. The best of the up and coming artists are always on the venue.. great place to bring your friends your family and yes even your children. Much respect for the people that come here always watching out for the young ones. It's all about the kids anyway.. rock on management .. !!!

Was a lot of fun. The venue was nicely set up, and I fully enjoyed myself.

My husband is a performer, he's in a group they have played here before. The staff is always friendly and Manda the bartender is simply amazing. Not only friendly but remembers what you drink and trued to have conversations and be friends if she isn't slammed at the bar. The Venue has been a great place for us over the past few years!

Second time here and had a great time seeing Casket Robbery! Having the bar separate from the concert area is great, keeps the bar from being jammed packed. Staff was great!

I’m a frequent flyer at this venue, performing and attending. The staff are very welcoming as well as the atmosphere there. The food is amazing. It’s a place that I call home. They have been around for over 10 years and are still going strong as one the best venues in Northeastern Ohio. I highly recommend going there for all of your booking and concert needs. Support your local music, local venues, and businesses in general. There are a big reason of why live music is still around!

I had a great experience here. There was a super cool bartender and cheap drinks with a decent variety. They even had a small menu of bar food. I really like the layout with the bar in a separate room from the stage so you can hear and order more easily. There's a little patio/smoking alley between buildings which is great to get air between shows. I would come back again for sure!

They have a pretty sweet setup between two adjacent buildings (one the bar and one the stage) with a cool little smoking section alley in-between. Was there for a horrorcore show and plan to attend many more now that I've seen how chill it is here! Loved it!

Kingz and Thievz are an awesome new band, a must see! Im gonna give a shout out to Autumn Lies Buried awesome as well, great show guys!

I have visited the Vortex on a number of occasions to perform and to observe. Great staff (especially the owner Andrew and the security team <Johhnie and Smitty>). $2 drink specials all night!!!! Great atmosphere!!!

I absolutely love The Vortex! The staff is great and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced and made by Manda, the sweetest bartender to exist! They find a variety of performers to play each week, and the atmosphere is great and welcoming. You definitely need to check it out!

This is one of my favorite local venues for a lot of different kinds of music. The owner is amazing and bar staff are always on top of it.

Two separate buildings made into one establishment. It’s pretty cool. There is a small stage in the first part. The bar. One pool table set in the middle of the room. There is a door in the back of the pool table area that leads to what looks like an alley that is gated off at the ends of each building with a few tables and smoking is allowed here. If you continue forward after going out the first door you come directly to the second door which leads to the main stage building. It has a huge open floor plan, which I love. No matter where you are, you get a good view. No mosh pits. They have a mini arcade area (pay to play) off in a section of the room with tables and chairs. We had a blast playing the games. Clean. Clean bathrooms. Good drinks. Pretty cool place.

Went for a karaoke contest. It was mildly busy, and with only a minimum of enthusiasm from the patrons. Drinks were cheap, small and weak. Seating was plentiful and the bathrooms were large and clean. Bouncers were very friendly and informative. I was only in the smaller half of the venue, but was told that the larger half hosted raves, live bands and events. Also of note is a beautiful little smoking alley, with outdoor tables and twinkly lights. When I was there it was doubly mesmerizing with fireflies throwing a sea of sparkles over the brick walls and starry night sky above. There is also a cover charge for entry, which for my event on a Sunday evening was 5 dollars.

Can't beat The Vortex!!!! By far my favorite venue to play at!!! Great vibe. Great staff. Sound man is AMAZING!!! You really can't go wrong with this place!!!!

Great bands for a great cause, Toys for Tots. Echoes of Eden's semi acoustic set was the highlight. The bartender is awesome 😎. The drinks reasonable. They should be packed everytime they have a show.

The Studs of Steel show was very entertaining. It's a great way to celebrate an occasion with friends. The guys are all very sweet & very good at what they do. The staff have fun & are very thorough, making it a great time for all. The club itself is a little dingy as far as the inside atmosphere goes, but it's been around a while so I understand. A makeover would be amazing especially since it's within walking distance to my house.

Ive been coming here a long time its always a good atmosphere great quality shows drinks are priced fair and the bartender McKenzie has always been super friendly with great communication skills and a very hard worker. I love this venue!!!

One of the best concert venues to play or watch bands at, always a great time. Love booking shows here, has an amazing vibe, and have yet to be upset about anything there. The bartender is an amazing person, and the sound guy is cool as hell.

Good place to see live music. The bar is separate from the performance space. There is an outside breezeway between the bar and performance area. The only suggestion I have is to have some type of covering over that area. That would be great 👍
