This is a great spot any time of day to see wildlife. Turtles, birds, beavers, snakes! The boardwalk is the best spot for spotting anything but as you walk the towpath keep an eye on the trees or in the water for wildlife. The path is flat so it's easy to walk or run & there are benches to sit at along the way. Sunrise is a good time because of the fog on some mornings & at sunset the reflections of the clouds in the marsh is beautiful. If you're in the CVNP this is a must stop because it's truly a gem if you love nature.

A must see when in Cuyahoga! I've cycled through this area hundreds of times... & visited on foot several more. Quite, peaceful and absolutely worth a visit! Paul the volunteer representative is absolutely fabulous! Beautiful spot along the towpath & must see when in Cuyahoga!

Perfect place for easy fun hike, bike, pet friendly and family friendly. Great to enjoy nature and see cool birds and other species. Since it is boardwalking (easy trail) and potential to see wildlife, it does attract a few people. So what you think you will have a peaceful time at the marsh can get pretty noisy. I did wish I could see a beaver or an otter! You can also see the rail train pass by in the distance.

Crushed stone trail, nice boardwalk and pond. No beaver activity visible on this winter visit but spotted some waterfowl and a great blue heron. Adequate parking at trailhead, busy with walkers and runners.

Perfect place for easy fun hike, bike, pet friendly. Great to enjoy nature and see cool birds πŸ¦… 🦒 🐦 and other species. Part of CVNP, there are two parking lot both can take you to the board walk then use the trials to get to the board walk. The photos were taking after April Rain.

It was a nice stop to stretch our legs. We saw some wildlife and enjoyed the open air and the smells of nature.

Very pretty area to view local wildlife! It's usually crowded, and there are always bicycles riding through so it's not a very.... chill area. Very busy -- but incredibly beautiful and you can see some really amazing animals pretty close up!

Nice lunch spot and turn-around point from our 36 mile ride from Lock 39. Lots of wildlife to keep your attention, bring a camera.

History of the marsh is amazing, it was waist yard until 80` and park bought it and with Mother Nature restore natural habitat.

I have so many favorite places in the CVNP, but this one is one of my very favorites. It is so unique and you can see animals here that you can't find many other places in the park. For the best chances of seeing otters and beavers, come at sunrise or sunset. It's open 24 hours, so come late at night. You can hear all kinds of activity in the water that you just don't see during the day.

It’s beautiful day walking on the boardwalk!!! Still some ice left, you can see all the ducks, geese and other birds swarming in the water! Also you can see hawks flying in the sky! People were hiking, running and photographing…… spring will be around soon 😊😊😊

Only took a short walk from the parking lot to the bridge at the marsh. Wish I had more time to walk further. There were plenty of other walkers, runners, and bikers on the trail. Very popular spot. I talked with a local man who mentioned that the birds we heard were Kingfishers and that he hadn't heard that many of them all at onceπŸ˜ƒ.

Just a short walk to this scenic area. We stayed for over an hour watching the heron, ducks, and lily pads. Can only imagine how striking the lily pads are in full bloom. We are from Iowa and would love to come back again!
