The food was very good, the atmosphere was very nice. It is definitely a nice place to go to and have drinks with friends and enjoy some tacos. There are lots of different options of different dietary needs. The menu allows you to mix and match making tacos the way you want them. The service was nice, a bit slow at time but nothing to bad considering the amount of customers. I very much loved the openness of the place, it was nice to be able to sit next to the open window and have the breeze come though, especially on such a nice day. The art the lines the walls is very fun and adds to the overall experience. As for myself I don't think I'll return, it was a nice experience but to me doesn't have any return factor. I feel I have seen and tasted what I wanted and am okay with that.

Holy cow! This restaurant was amazing! I’d only been to one other build your own taco place before and hadn’t enjoyed my experience. This was completely different. Complimentary chips and salsa and free refills are the way to my heart. The tacos themselves were amazing! It was Sunday brunch when we were there and we both got the one with bacon, brussel sprouts and egg. It was to die for! I also made my own tacos and ordered too much. I didn’t realize they’d be so big. It can be a little pricey but you do get a lot of food for the price. The queso had great flavor. The service was good too. If you are somewhere you can get to a Barrio I’d make sure you check it out.

We did not like it at all, we love Mexican food and it is one of the worst Mexican restaurants we have visited. They took more than 20 minutes to serve the tacos and they were also horrible with the tortillas that broke (they seemed defrosted) and the content apart from being cold, poorly cooked with some liquid and poorly served sauces that made the tortilla wet, giving rise to a very horrible mixture. Mind you, it's cheap and the waitress was very helpful and nice to us.

I love Mexican food and this is NOT IT. I ordered our customized tacos with my 4 other friends and our food came out in ~30 minutes. I thought it was late considering they're just tacos, but my order came out with a visible strand of hair. I informed the server immediately and she took it back and had my 3 tacos remade. It came out between 5-10 minutes later and it was the saltiest tacos I've ever had in my life. It tasted as if a whole salt container fell on the 1 piece of meat in my taco. I couldn't get past the salt to taste the pineapple salsa, the secret sauce or anything really. My order was incredibly unpalatable that it was an immediate turn off; I did not bother with the other 2 tacos. A complete shame and waste. I informed our server, Lydia, the same findings. In addition, the corn tortillas tasted like old cardboard. I will not be returning here.

We loved taking the grandkids here for the ambiance as they got a kick out of the wall art, but none of our shrimp had been cleaned properly and were full of intestinal veins, which is extremely off putting. We ate around the shrimp and made the best of it. The rice was a table favorite. Bartender was friendly when we needed more napkins and silverware. I would rather the food take more time and be cooked properly than anything else. Please take more care. We'll try again this summer!

Love many things about this place including the delicious tacos and margaritas but have had 3 times where we’ve gotten to go orders through their website and the chips and queso is missing. I’ve tried to call before but it’s generally busy/dinner time at that point and have never been able to talk with someone/get a refund. Great spot if you go and eat in person but really frustrating when you don’t get your whole to go order multiple times. I guess we should’ve checked before we left.

This experience was so disappointing. Our server was distracted and not very helpful. We ordered the Tres Amigos (buffalo chicken, chorizo and elotes) queso dips. They arrived cold. We let our server know and she was dismissive and said "the salsa is cold". Our tacos were cold, soaking wet from the salsas and just bland. Our drinks took awhile to receive. Our server was very apologetic regarding the delays however. The music was entirely too loud and it was difficult to hold a conversation. I heard so many wonderful things about Barrio and I truly don't want to return to this location.

Came from out of town. The variety of choices were amazing. Our server was a very sweet guy. Super funny and created a safe vibe. We Ordered the lychee, blood orange and pomegranate margarita flight and they were outstanding. The ability to build your own was a cool touch. Only complaint were the black beans were far too salty. But overall a great place.

Very busy when we arrived and waited for a table even though empty tables were viewable. Likely short on hands at the moment. Once seated took a few minutes for server to come over but food and drinks were supplied incredibly quick! In a matter of a few minutes we had all of our drinks and food. Open doors to the street provided and awesome atmosphere.

Good tacos but the meat was COLD (shrimp and steak). We expected warm shells with hot meat and cool toppings. Overall the service was good. The waitress helped us order and was on point. We would return but maybe earlier in the day.

The cod tacos I had were horrible it was the quality of the fish it was truly horrendous. You use low quality ingredients and it’s easy to tell for someone who’s a true foodie. Honestly your establishment wouldn’t cut it in a town with a competitive food scene your lucky your located in Cleveland. I wouldn’t recommend order fish tacos here I’m not sure about the other meats. This place has a great vibe though and the staff is amazing. The only problem is the food isn’t good at all.

Great tacos, good service, decent atmosphere. The last time I went to a Barrio, I made the mistake of ordering their pre-designed tacos instead of making my own. I wholeheartedly recommend that people make their own tacos because that is definitely the way to go! There were a lot of different choices for toppings and protein, so they're definitely not lacking in variety. The tacos aren't "authentic" per se, but that's not a bad thing at all. The quality of the ingredients was great, and the food was delicious, so it's all good to me!

Excellent and creative tacos and margaritas. Trendy urban vibe, but welcoming to all. Service was a little relaxed and unfamiliar with the menu, but friendly enough.

We sat outside and the service was pretty good. They lost one of our orders but found it quickly enough. The build your own taco/bowl/salad concept is great. The salsa and guacamole were bland! Felt like there was no seasoning. I think this place could benefit from an app.

This restaurant forces you to pay a 20% if your party is over a certain size, regardless of the quality of the service. This is very backwards. A tip should depend on the quality of the service. They took forever to bring the food, the server rushed us with our order and the server only came back to check on us once. The store owner even told the manager not to remove the 20% tip.

I was not at Barrio I was at the Fairmont Grill. My son had Burger and fries and Beer. He said it was very good. I had Brussel Sprouts I thought they were way to firm he thought they were good. I like mine steamed soft. Seasoning was good I also had a beer. Stars are based on his review. Nice outdoor atmosphere!

Great service and tacos. If you've never been they have a selection of tacos to chose from. If you know what you like you can create your own with tons of options. Ordering via paper form should be standard at all restaurants as it limits mistakes. Definitely going back.

I was treating my daughter to takeout from Barrio for the first time and telling her how good it was. Well, it used to be good. They hadn't even begun to prepare our food until we arrived a few minutes after the time the order was supposed to be ready. After waiting 25 minutes, we received cold food (not just lukewarm, but like it had been in a refrigerator), but what's worse is that both bowls weren't even close to being correct. All toppings were missing from my bowl. My daughter's bowl had the cheese which was missing from my bowl, which she didn't want or order. She ordered Barrio Secret Sauce and got Pineapple Salsa instead. Both orders were about half the size of what a bowl used to contain. My wife's taco had a hair on it. When calling to complain, I got no satisfaction and the brush off response "we'll let the kitchen manager know." Next time, we'll be sure to find a better place to get tacos/bowls.

After all the hype about Barrio that I’ve heard I decided to try it on Monday. I was very much disappointed in the food. I ordered 10 chicken tacos. And on all 10 of the tacos the chicken was extremely hard and over cooked and dry. We ended up throwing 7 of the 10 in the trash. I will not be a returning customer. Everything would have been excellent if the chicken would’ve been cooked correctly.

Not sure what to say. Taste as close to automatic the way I ordered as any English speaking restaurant. Prices are fair and good is great. Kaeleigh was spot on with recommendations

My wife and I were not fans of their tacos. The server was very friendly and provided great service. The drinks were really good as well. We just weren't fans of the food. The tortillas were cold and the food lacked flavor.

Have eaten here about 3 years ago and it’s was too loud inside to talk. Today we had 2 tacos and a margarita. The margarita was watered down so bad it tasted like lemon aid. No tequila taste at all. After 20 min we got our tacos and they were both COLD. The meat was sparse at best and the waitress was non existent. This was a bad experience considering we walked there. Homeless begging out front and bothering you if you eat outside. Not interested in going back

Tacos are big! Delicious. Menu can be overwhelming/confusing but great staff explained it well and we were very happy. Good vegan and keto options too.

Placed a take out order, they missed a few tacos. Called them back and they re-made the order with a minimum of fuss. I appreciated the promptness and help - we love barrio and we’ll keep coming back!

Not from the area and stumbled upon this by accident. The aesthetic fits the vibe. Open garage walls allows a lot of air flow and there's plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Blackberry bourbon lemonade was a first for me but was pleasant. (Didn't taste like a basic lemonade and bourbon mix) Ordered camarón agrietado, recommended by the bartender, and I must say that crack sauce was on point. Plenty of shrimp for the price. Also got El Sully and i loved the double shell to hold everything in and it went down splendidly. With two tacos I was satisfied but could definitely do a third. Would recommend for a quick bite or hang out. If im in Cleveland again I'll be coming back.

First time trying Barrio and their tacos are delicious! Guacamole and queso also delicious. I tried a special taco - something with dill pickle - super yummy. Made my own with the pineapple salsa and it was awesome. Highly recommend for tacos!

Writing after back to back poor experiences at this location. The first time the food was fine but the service was poor - took a long time to get our order taken and even longer to get our food. The second time the food was not good - cold and didn't seem like it had been served remotely close to when it was finished. Will be going to another Barrio location if wanting the food again.
