DO NOT STAY HERE! AVOID AVOID AVOID The most horrible hostel ever. There were rats inside our room and we, the 16 people in the room, had an awful night. Lost multiple days of my vacation because I was sleep deprived due to this situation and could not do anything.I has paid for 7 night but got no refunds. Moved out 2nd day and paid for a hotel. Bathroom was dirty. Kitchen was too small. Breakfast was not free. Very poor security. Hostel door was just wide open and no staff around. A random drunk person just walked in. Just horrible. Please avoid!

Hands down the worst hostel experience I've ever had. My flight was late which meant I would arrive about ten minutes after the allotted check in time. The hostel's phone numbers wouldn't work and I received no response from emails, so they were impossible to contact about my situation. I was relieved to see the receptionist was there, but he offered no help or sympathy and told me to come back tomorrow. Upon returning the next day, I discovered that at around 3am the hostel had sent an email cancelling my entire stay which was fully paid in advance, with no refunds possible and that I would have to pay the full price again to renew my reservation. I imagine this is probably why the business is so strict about their check-in time. Other than the horrible customer service and practice, the pictures of the hostel online are quite misleading. Most of the furniture advertised is not there anymore and the common room is extremely limited and uncomfortable. During the two hours I was there the Wi-Fi did not work for a single minute, and their "kitchen" is nothing more than a microwave without other amenities. The day-time staff in general was much friendlier, but there is only so much they could do. While this place is cheap, there are similarly priced accomodations in much better locations that I would highly suggest over Trendy Hostel.

The worst hostel I have been to so far on my backpacking trip. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. No one could speak English well so the talking at the front desk was done through Google Translate. I was double-charged for my stay because of a mistake made through Hostelworld. Hostelworld compensated me for their 15% deposit while Trendy Hostel did not refund me for the double-charge even though I stayed for 4 nights in this place. I have emailed them multiple times about this issue and have not received a refund or reply. It's a pretty easy fix to just refund me for the double-charge, but I'll have to leave that in the past now. Please do not stay here while you are in Paris if you can help it!!!!!!

This is my second time the first time I staying just one night only5hrs to sleep and living i don't use toilet or shower yet and this is the second time and I'm booking for a week and the first time I use the toilet and show really so bad 👎 it's dirty and has smells so bad in the toilet and shower room toilet have a lot of water go around on the floor the ditty thing some time maybe it's makes by customers who stay there but the lobby it's nice and clean I'm not rally happy but can't cancel for ask a refund back but I use the bed just for sleep in a night after work only 6hrs /day OMG 1 week in this place never again for me

If I could give zero stars I would. I don’t usually write google reviews but in this case I feel I need to. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. It is absolutely the worst hostel I’ve ever stepped into, and I’ve stayed in some pretty horrible places. Just trust me, pay the extra few euro and get yourself a bed in a more reputable place. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Absolute slum of a hostel. Unclean facilities including blood and feces on the floor. Hot room, terrible service. And to top it all off we paid for a 5 beds in a 14 person room and they stuck us in a 22 person room. I cannot stress enough how awful a facility this is. It may be cheap but they are scamming you

One of the most worst experience. I had already paid for my stay but they won’t let me check in because i was 30 mins late, and the receptionist is gone by 11pm. My flight landed at 10, how is it possible to be inside the hostel before 11. I somehow managed to sneak in with a help of a guy. The washroom had only tissues( do not recommend for muslims). Staff is extremely rude. This hostel should get banned from the government. Such mismanagement

Arguably one of the worst hostels I've stayed in. The bathrooms smelt awful, and were very unclean. The supposed mixed dorms we booked ended up being all female, which led to me being kicked out in the morning and moved to the mens dorm where I was given a bed that had white stains on it. Unless your absolutely stuck I would recommend almost anywhere else.

As expected of a hostel, there are multiple beds and dim light in each room. There were 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 sinks connected to my room by a sound insulated door. It was clean, and I felt safe. For the price, it is definitely worth it. 3,50€ for breakfast, I didn't have it though. They lend padlocks and towels for a 10€ each, and you get your money back when you give them back. There are lockers for those who are staying more than one night and need to leave some of their belongings. My reception was nice, professional and courteous. Is quite far from the city center but is well connected by metro. I stopped here for a weekend. I like the set up. Fast high speed wifi, good for digital nomad, the beds are comfortable. I like how there's a large bathroom in each room, separate for guys and girls. The common areas are comfortable. There was still a social vibe around that time. Good business. In my opinion it was the cheapest most hostel you find in whole Paris with all facilities available mostly for a guy coming from Asiatic region. No bed bugs as on 05/03/2020.

Some mouses and coackroaches. Terrible smell in the toilet and in the lobby . Wifi is perfect by the way. The multicultural area around is vivid and and calm. For 10e per night that should be acceptable. But not for 30. No bedbugs surprisingly.

Possibly one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. The kitchen and living area were grimy, the bathroom covered in hair, the shower full of pools of stagnant, stinking water. The beds creaked loudly the whole night. The worst of all was when a mouse ran across the floor in the reception in front of me and the staff laughed it off and said it lived there. Do not stay here unless there is nowhere else.

The place is poorly managed, didn't expect from the outlook on the website. The staff are unusually and unnecessarily boorish and harsh. There were a lot of dirt here and there and the room was suffocating. Washrooms were comparatively better. Their kitchen was full of little cockroaches and mice.

It was one of the biggest mistake of my life to reserve by internet for this hotel, the photos on the website do not reflect the reality of this hotel. I booked a room for 10 people, but when I arrived I found more than 20 people per room . In addition, there are mices living in this hotel (kindly refer to the pictures). I reserved for 3 days, but I couldn't stay for more than one night. I couldn't sleep with bad smell in the hotel collective room and the snoring sound so I decided to stay on a chair till the morning (see in picture). One last thing, the next day I asked for a refund for the remaining two days, but they said No. So in summary I don't recommend this hotel .... and I ask for refund my money

I will be honest here for writing the reviews for this hostel.... Though it is cheaper, no services provided in this hostel... no cleanliness.. no punctuality.... No hygiene..... I think this hostel deserve negative rating.... The issues I faced: 1) delayed check-in (I did check-in at 15h30 though mentioned checking time was 15h00) 2) I got my room key at 19h00 3) there is no air-conditioning so it's not good place for those who have heat issue(people like me) 4)I got stuck inside bathroom because of lock issue 5) even these people don't clean bathroom 6) for checkout as I was leaving at 07h00, they told me to keep key there and go.... It's very disrespectful for customers Sorry but I don't want to visit again though they offer free stay or 10 euros stay I prefer to spend 5 to 10 euros extra but with good quality

I payed 23€ for 1 Night + 2€ for a big Towel. I'd say that's pretty cheap for Paris. The location is really bad, but just for sleeping it's alright. The beds are just really loud and the shower not to clean. I would recommend paying 7€ more for something more comfortable and more closely to Paris.

It's in really bad conditions, and not hygienic. I saw a mouse on a couch of the common area, really disgusting.

I don’t recomment this hostel at all. I got to check in 30 min late and some one open the door and just told me to go to sleep. Next day receptionist ask me to check my passport with no valid reason then put my passport in his pocket. He would charge me 10 € to give my passport back. I calld police so he scared and give my passport back although he threated me to charge me more. Their customer services was awful and I felt completely unsafe there.

totally fine. we didn’t have any rats like everyone else, so the stay was pretty okay. the staff was very kind to us! the breakfast though was really bad, it was only cookies and a melon slice, the bathrooms were not not that fresh because of the smell and dirty floors. beds pretty ok.

This hostel was just disgusting. The entry hall and rooms look nothing like the pictures they posted. When we stepped in, there was trash next to the reception. They couldn‘t speak English and had to use a translator to talk to us. When they showed us our room, we were really shocked. 22 beds in a really small room, no place to storage your luggage and half of the lockers weren‘t working. The bed sheets were dirty and looked like they were already used. The bathroom was flooded and dirty. The only advice I can give is to never book that hostel, it is the worst I have ever seen!!!!!!!

Refused to return the payment informed 2 days before the staying (I refused because later I found many bad feedbacks about the cleanliness of this site). Many letters ignored. Not accessible via phone. I DO not recommend at all to have any deal with this hostel - long reaction, not friendly at all

Such a GREAT PLACE! The staff is so friendly, the facilities are up to date and clean. Nice living room area to lounge in, some tables to eat and even plates and cups to use (alps microwave, toaster and hot water kettle available) Aloui was super kind and so friendly answering questions I had about the metro, if I ever come back I’ll def be coming here 🙂 also NO bed bugs 10/12/19 (saw some reviews a ways back that said there were)

For starters, it looks nothing like the photos. I didn't see rats or anything like other reviews but that didn't mean it was good. The facility in general is off putting and just dirty all around. The bathrooms are kinda nasty despite being cleaned regularly. It was a place to sleep and that's all. I was in a mixed room, so it was my group (2 female, 1 male) I felt safe enough but some of the other people staying in the hostel had no manners whatsoever and would talk really loudly or eat chips loudly despite the fact they asked people not to eat in the shared room. There was only one gentleman that made me feel uncomfortable because he seemed like he was under the influence and extremely irritable. Unpleasant experience overall. Specifically the bathroom, shower, and cleanliness.

AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE IS VERY BAD! But The receptionist girl is very nice, but the place does NOT look like on the pictures, very dirty bathroom and just in general u missing normal hygiene stuff. Had to wait 3 hours till they resolved the booking problem which they were responsible for. Only got an email to write them, I don’t think I going to get some money back or any goods.. overall im actually scared to stay at this place.

Horrible people. The employee ripped the room key right out of my hand and refused to update the key with the extra night even though I paid for the night online. Others who had paid as well were kicked out with no reimbursement. Check out the low stars and comments on Hostelworld as well.

Staffs doesn’t seems helpful, toilet is always smelly, the girls especially Spanish girls has no respect to others, always talking in the middle night or morning, they will also put things on your bed, close to metro though

When checking in the girl behind the desk was quite rude to be fair, came across very grumpy and far from hospitable. The rooms were okay and sort of clean. It was well over 35 degrees and the room was like a sauna and there was not aircon. Both days we were there the receptionist showed up too late, on my first morning they were over an hour late and there was a woman who was waiting to checkout because she had some laundry she still needed to pick up before she left. All and all, I’ve travelled around the world and I’m used to staying in hostels far worse than this one but if you’ve never stayed at one this would be a bad first impression.

I was late due to overlooking the nearest train station stop and rode back, and taking a Bolt ride in effort of arriving before 23:00. I was about 10-15 mins late but check-in was smooth and acceted payment booking online overall good experience. There wasnt a bar so will head to the city and have a drink.

This place is a complete scam , if you stay there expect black mold on the roof , stinky bathrooms , rats , and random kick outs from the manager , he can kick you out even tho you payed for 3 days . Avoid this place at all costs P.S the photos are a lie the place looks horrible

It is cheap!! The cheapest I found in Paris! Totally recommend for an emergency! I only stayed one night as it was not the energy I wanted in Paris... and I am so thankful I had it... The way there was a little scary and that did not go away with my stay... However! I was very moved by the staffs actions!! The staff was sooo welcoming and caring! One of the staff gave me her bed for the night so I could sleep in the girls room!! This should say something about the kindness of these people! Eternally thankful for my first night in Paris in a bed and not in the streets ;)

Hostel is nice. Is quite far from the city center but is well connected by metro. Rooms are spacious, but I've stayed in a 10 bed dorms and I think that 1 bathroom and 2 showers for 10 girls is not enough. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really basic, maybe it could be improved.

I do not recommend. The staff is not kind at all. The equipment is very bad. The pictures do not represent the reality. The place is small and the lack of space makes you feel uncomfortable. We spent two night for our weekend in Paris. On a positive note, despite being 40 min from the centre, it is still quite well connected thanks to the metro at 50 meters. Unfortunately, the place is quite dirty expecially the bathroom. Lockers exist but you have to provide your own lock and almost all of them do not shut properly. The building ought to be renovated expecially in the common areas (hall). Beds, pillows and sheets looked clean.

There were mice on the ground floor. You can see them at night. The hygiene is not the best. I got a bed with wet sheets also.

Clean but because of people that constantly arrives it's very noisy. Probably it's okay for 20€ per person for Paris.

One of the cheapest stays in Paris. Dormitory with quality beds, blanket and pillow. Have a charging plug near each customer.

DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF I read all the bad reviews and thought "meh it's just a bed for the night can't be that bad" and omg how wrong I was. I turned up, took one look at the place and left. Upon entry you will see what looks like a building site that was never finished, with broken furniture stacked up everywhere, a 'kitchen' with no appliances (but a healthy supply of insects crawling on every surface) and mold, dirt and grime all over every surface, corner and floor in every room I saw. Akin to the metro tbh. The staff tried to charge my friend more money than everyone else was charged and were so rude that at one point I genuinely thought the manager was trying to goad us into a fight. One of my mates stayed and told me about the sheer horror that is the bathrooms and how his sheets were covered in black mold and the mattress with dried blood. I've been to bad hostels, I recognise it's apart of the experience of travelling, but seriously please don't do this to yourself. Just pay the extra €40 and go somewhere else, you're worth it.

Wasn't very clean. Didn't know wether the beds were already used. Crazy people in the room. Runners were very tired and seemed to have a cold.. Saw one rat! Wouldn't come back!!

PLZ AVOID! Read all the reviews before booking! I booked 4 nights and paid all online. Then I arrived late at 1Am and then I enter and they told me the reception will arrive at the morning so we can’t give you a bed. And I found other 5 ppl are sleeping in chairs inside waiting the reception to open as well. So I joined them sleeping. 30 min later a guy came in and literally kicked us all out cause we don’t have access card yet and need to wait the reception to open next day 11:00! We stayed that night in the STREET. Yes in the street with all our luggage!! And we all fully paid our stay! And when I asked to cancel my booking they told me your booking is not refundable so I just paid 100 euro and as a return stayed a night in the street :(

My friends and I stayed at this hostel for one night, and we seriously considered switching to a more expensive one almost immediately. We were put in a room with way more beds than what we payed for, there were only lockers enough for less than HALF of those beds, and some of those few lockers were dysfunctional. If you enjoy constantly stressing over your belongings while going out for dinner, then this is the hostel for you! There was a stain on the floor that looked suspiciously blood-like, though I gave it the benefit of the doubt out of sheer unwillingness to believe that a hostel would allow for literal blood to not be cleaned up. Poop in the showers, and a persistent foul odor. Room was almost too bright to fall asleep in due to a bright neon green emergency exit sign above the door, noisy and hot, and (while this is not the hostel's fault directly) another guest yelled at my friend who was quietly trying to readjust her sheets in the middle of the night... which wouldn't have happened if they put us in the room we payed for. Location was not note-worthy, if a bit of a long commute into the major tourist spots, but it was in walking distance of the closest metro station. Don't let the price lure you in - stay anywhere else Paris.

I would not recommend staying here if you are able to. While it’s one of the more affordable hostels in Paris, it is for obvious reasons. I have been traveling around Europe for about a month now and this is by far the worst hostel I have stayed at. Bathrooms are really gross with black mold lining sinks and showers. They fit 18 people into each room so be prepared for that. It’s serviceable if you are j looking for a cheap place to sleep, but don’t expect much.
