My son was 4.5 years old when he first started. Very timid and shy at first but after couple of classes he showed eagerness and enthusiasm to join each class. Now he's 6 years old and red stripe belt. Master Sam and Master Instructor John has been very compassionate and patient with my child and he is on his journey to achieving his black belt. He is overcoming his challenges somedays where he complains "sparring is too difficult" and doesn't want to attend classes, but he is told life is all about taking up difficult challenges and becoming your best self! Belt tests every few months also increase his confidence level. Overall his self determination and willpower has also increased tremendously, highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Master Sam makes learning fun while insisting on a structures and respectful class. Great for students of all ages, she also hosts additional events to keep things fresh.

Master Moon is an excellent instructer and has so much patience with all of his students. The way he teaches makes you want to be a better you and push yourself! I have also watched him the children and was so impressed with his ability to work with them and all the little personalities that I have recommended him to my neighbor who has twin boys. Everyone respects him so much! We learn the art of learning Taekwondo in a safe and clean environment! Thank you Master Moon!

I would like to give 10 stars! My daughter started since April 2021, She really enjoys and I can tell it's been helping her mentally and physically. Master Sam really cares about every individual kids with patient! This place is beyond the place where your kids learn Taekwondo, it is the place your kids learn how to deal with themselves for self control, respect others, integrity and being patient. Highly recommend!

Master Sam is very nice, patient and understanding!! The place is kept clean and it is very professional!! My son goes there and he loves it so much! Would 100% recommend bringing your children or yourself there if you are interested in taekwando!!

Master Moon is a very caring and patient person, he is a true teacher who can find a way to every child. I am happy my son continue his second year at the center to build his core strengths and self control in a very friendly environment. Highly recommend it!

This place is awesome. Master Moon is passionate about what he is doing, which also makes you really focused during class. Kids have fun and love going to this center. Best after school program. Whole family members can enjoy praticing this sport together!! Highly recommended!!

Master Sam has done a terrific job instructing my son. He has learned so much about discipline and honor while learning some incredible physical skills. I highly recommend this school to anyone who lives in Carlstadt and the surrounding boroughs.

Love that my son enjoys going to United TKD at Carlstadt. Master Sam is highly organized, quite strict and gives importance to values and behavior that are relevant to every day life. Instructor John also works hard and makes the classes fun that my son would not want to miss a class. I particularly enjoy going to belt tests and tournaments where the students show what they have learned. I highly recommend this center that provides a positive environment for the students and their families.

My son has been going here for over a year now. He loves it and Master Sam is great with the kids. My daughter is too young to go for lessons, but she even enjoys coming to class to watch her brother and see Master Sam. In addition to the taekwondo classes, they also have many fun events and activity nights for the kids to build a community. It has been a very positive experience for our family.

Master Sam is very polite and teaches effectively. I enrolled my daughter for 3 year black belt program. My daughter enjoys the challenges and works towards goals designed In Taekwondo program.

Amazing people doing amazing job🥰. Great place to learn while having fun at the same time. Teachers are fair to everyone. Very professional, caring, respectful, helpful and compassionate. My daughter loves them both master Sam and Mr John and she is always excited to come to taekwondo no matter how tired she is. In addition to the taekwondo learning skills, they also organize some Fun activities for the kids, so parents can have at least 2h of break , such as GAME NIGHT, NERF GUN EVENT, MOVIES, PARENTS NIGHT. So if you are living near by one of their location please don't hesitate to enroll your little ones. You won't regret. I am Speaking out of experience.🤝

Master Sam is excellent at her work. My son really enjoys her classes. She is passionate, patient, detail-oriented, and the kids have fun during the classes. Children not only practice a super complete sport but also learn values, respect, perseverance, responsibility, self confindence... They receive training for life. I fully recommend it. It's worth it.

Both of my boys love taekwondo. The teachers (Master Sam and Instructor John) are amazing, they find a nice balance with being playful and strict. They teach great values for the children and the result shows in our everyday life, not just at taekwondo practice.
