BEST Apple Cider donuts in the Hudson Valley! In my opinion they're better than Tantios Farm (which were my favorite for 4 years) they were last ranked #1 best apple cider donut in Hudson Valley, but Calculated Confections beats them. I hope she can enter her donuts in the next competition. They also started doing Afghan food on Wednesdays from 4:00-8:00pm and it's very good! We got the chicken kabobs. Authentic as they're from Afghanistan. Their dishes you can split with two people. And top it off with some delicious cheesecake!

Update Sept 2021: they now serve Afghan food Wednesday’s 4-8, and it is delicious! Highly recommend stopping in I’ve been wanting to stop here for a while now, finally did! Small bakery with seating inside and outside. I got a red velvet cupcake - the icing was delicious, not too sweet. The cake part was a little dry, but overall was good. I loved the chocolate chip cookie! They have GF and vegan options as well, and many coffee and tea choices. I will definitely be back to try the other pastries!

Seriously amazing cupcakes! My sister always gets cupcakes from here for special occasions and it's always been amazing! The cake is always super soft but still firm, and the frosting is always incredibley light but flavorful! We usually always get strawberry filled ones and just tried these double dark chocolate ones for my son's birthday!

I needed a specialty cake pretty last minute (called on a Friday needed to pick up first thing Sunday morning). Not only did Calculated Confections some through in time- but the German Chocolate Cake was SO DELICIOUS. Mouthwateringly good! It was to celebrate my grandfathers 98th birthday and he was so pleased and satisfied. I should also mention that the owner is so friendly!! We will definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend.

The owner made sure to go the extra mile to make sure my cake was perfect for my sons first birthday. The cake was identical to a picture I showed her of what I wanted and everyone at the party loved the cake. Affordable, tasty and great service. Will definitely use again ☺️

This is an excellent little bakery. I think that they make the best lemon bars that I've had anywhere north of the Florida Keys. Their butter cream is fantastic. We've had their chocolate mousse cake, which is delicious and perfect. The prices are very reasonable and everyone behind the counter is friendly and helpful.

Khadija of Calculated Confections was one of the best vendors to work with! We opted for a dessert table filled with cookies (chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin), mini cupcakes (carrot cake, vanilla, and vanilla with fresh strawberry filling) and a small carrot cake to cut for pictures. The carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was incredible — so delicious! Our guests were so happy it was easily accessible to grab something sweet and head back to the dance floor. Khadija put my mind at ease and set up the table beautifully!! Cannot thank her and her team enough!

This bakery is incredible!! We had a party and had a tray of cookies and brownies that was a huge hit with our guests. My recommendation is to try the oatmeal cookies and the gold flake brownies. We love this place!
