😠 Garlic shrimp looks good. But it tasted horrible. I was really disappointed in the bao bun too, sauce was lackluster and the stew was just okay. People often mention good, chicken, Chicken, beef, love,

Go here now! We’ve been meaning to try, and so happy we did. Really tasty and delicious food. Chicken teriyaki was very good and not too sweet which I love, great smokey flavor on the onions and I loved the eggplant edition to this. Chicken bao buns were delicious— the cucumbers were 👌🏼next time I need to ask for extra. Pork spicy udon noodles delicious as well. We’ll be ordering from here often now. 💗 Its more of a takeout spot or quick bite dining experience— just as an fyi in case you aren’t sure what to expect. But that shouldn’t change your mind on going and eating there. It’s very clean and everyone there was very nice. Side note: I read in another review that the chicken was rubbery and dry— which made me skeptical to order chicken, but I did any way. I am super picky with chicken and this was absolutely tender and juicy.

We were looking for a place to eat close to the American Dream mall, and glad we found Ondubu. A small restaurant, but offers lots of interesting Korean dishes, in the form of Bibim-bap, hot & stoned bap, Bulgogi, Udon and Japchae. They have a good collection of small items too, Park-baos are the highlight among them. The restaurant is almost self-service. There’s a tablet to put it in the order, and the food is brought to the table once ready. After the meal, we had to bus our dishes to the cleaning area. We tried several of the items, chicken baos, chicken and beef bib I’m-bap, beef udon, and seafood pancake. The entree dishes came with the side of pink salad (cabbage & cucumber) and spicy sauce. I found all of the dishes to be very well prepared, ingredients, sauces blended really well to create a delightful taste. The portion was just about right for lunch. From their menu, I found out they have another location in Paramus, Route 17, which is closer to my home. Looking forward to trying out that location too. Probably I would remember this for my future Korean food cravings. Food taste - 5/5 Food prep time - 5/5 Price - $$ Restroom - 4/5 Items Tried: Chicken baos - 5/5 (Spicy!) We loved the Chicken bun , vegetable kimchi pancake and vegetable dumplings. I will go back for them . The glass noodle was also good . There are not many seatings . Only 5 twin tables are available . Hence plan accordingly if you want to dine in .

PLEASE this isn't authentic korean food. The food taste like it was made by first time cooking person. Usually never leave a review but please don't try thinking this is korean food. They tried to make it similar but it tastes way too bad. Got the Bibimbap with beef. Beef (bulgogi) taste so bad and vegetables horrible seasoning. Why fry all the vegetables and make the food so soggy and not tasty. Chicken teriyaki tastes like store bought sauce with some rubber chicken. Two of the easiest menu you guys can't make. Never ordering from here. Please change the store to American-Korean food or something. Fusion. So bad. Oh and for the tofu soup, just buy a package from Hmart or any korean grocery store called (soft tofu soup from BCD) will guarantee 10000% it is so much better and cheaper. So Easy to make too. 5 minute dish done.

Hidden gem in Rutherford. This place is amazing. I was scared that it would be a bit subpar because I wouldn't think Rutherford would have good Korean cuisine. I was extremely wrong. Decor is lacking a bit but it isn't bad at all. Friendly staff and they have a tablet where you can order off of as well. Lots of flavor in all their fall and reasonable prices.

I was so disappointed! I love Korean food and have been to a lot of different spots in the area. japchae is one of my favorites, so that what I ordered. It was a completely off dish. The tofu added was like a fried hot sauce flavor that didn’t go with the japchae at all. Almost no vegetables as well. I wanted to love this place but I’m so disappointed 😭

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Fast service and large portions. The interior furnishings lend it to be more of a lunchtime cafe vs. a datenight location.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My wife and I came here for a quick lunch. Although inside was not busy it felt very comfortable to eat in. We came during lunch hour when prices are at a discount I ordered the beef with rice lunch special and THE TASTE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. By far my fav. Only minimal comment I can make is that I wish my dish came in the same fancy stone bowl my wife got with her Teriyaki chicken over rice. Mine came in a long brown takeout box. As mentioned my wife got the teriyaki chicken over rice and 10/10 the flavor was delicious as were the vegetables. We also ordered chicken katsu Bao buns and Pork Bao Buns. Chicken was very tasty, but when I unwrapped my pork Bao bun it almost looked like we received the beef Bao bun as the cut of meat on the bun looked exactly like the beef I had with my lunch special dish. I imagined the pork being a crispy pork belly piece. All in all this place was very good and I plan to come back again. I am looking forward to ordering the pork Bao bun again to see if the meat is supposed to look like the beef or if it’s an actual crispy pork belly piece(s).

Great as always but the portions may be slightly smaller since the container changed. Alway love Bibim-Bap/Salad which offers options for sides and combo with Ttukbaegi and Crispy Seafood Pajeon.

Service and atmosphere are good. I have been to this location perhaps 20 times over the past two years. I'd say the first 17 or 18 were very good. But the past several have unfortunately resulted in upset stomach issues, in particular the chicken teriyaki. I doubt I'll be going back any time soon, but hopefully this location returns to the wonderful place it was for a few years.

Very delicious food, the man who gives out orders is always polite and friendly. Thank you !! But! Chinese woman who was there is very rude! And how can you stand in the kitchen where they prepare food in a long winter jacket that you wear outside, complete unprofessionalism on her part

Loved the Beef Bulgogi … amazing quality of meat and marinated taste is so good. Rice and salad combo was good. Portion of meat was more than fair, I’m 220 lbs and felt very satisfied. Will definitely be coming back!!!
