What can I say? The accommodation was outstanding, the views are vast and great. The food was to absolutely die for! Everything is locally sourced from what I can gather and the service was sublime. The attention to detail is just awesome. This is definitely a 'must do again'. Try it out everyone, just one thing? Leave a place for me eh! 👌💯👍

We had a fantastic 2 night stay. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, keeping the bar & kitchen open for us on their night off just after Christmas. We had a delicious evening meal & the breakfast was very generous & perfectly cooked. Lovely comfy rooms & great location. The owner even kindly gave us a lift to a local wedding… highly recommend!

We visited this place a couple of weeks ago for Sunday lunch with friends, five of us in total all having three course meals and drinks, the bill came to about £40 per head so not bad at all. The food was excellent no complaints at all we all enjoyed our meals. While we were there the place did fill up and the service did slow done a little an extra member of staff would have probably have helped. In general though I would recommend happily and I would have no hesitation in going back again.

Stayed here when our friends got married at Bashall Barn just down the road. What a fantastic place! The rooms we bad was beautiful and very comfy. The staff were so nice, inducing the owners who sat with us for a drink and a good chat. The breakfast was great and the menu was just right. Would highly recommend to anyone who is staying out that way or attending a wedding at Bashall Barn

An early evening meal for 6. Great location, lovely building and very friendly staff. Drinks ordered and arrived in a timely manner. Food ordered, steaks for all but 1, whose option was salmon. Chips, onion rings a plenty. Delicious hot food arrived all together, and was perfect. A great meal. Thanks to all the staff and management 👍

This place is our old favourite! Always guaranteed a good meal and service too. Fran, Jonathan and team make you feel very welcome. It's a great option for Sunday lunch, steak or dinner with friends/family. And dogs are welcome too 😊

The food was not bad in any way but vastly over priced. It's still just pub food at the end of the day but I feel they are trying to charge prices that are more in line with, shall we say, better establishments. Most dishes did not come with veg or chips/mash/boiled spuds. These were another £3.50 per portion. Was not a cheap night out!

Absolutely loved it here, dogs enjoyed it too. We will be going back. The room and pub were bloody lovely, very homely and very comfortable. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place with great staff. Stayed in a shepherd's hut which was fabulous. Had breakfast every morning which i can recommend. Definitely would go back 😊

Great experience. Lovely and clean. Spacious Yurt with fabulous facilities. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle while being only 45 minutes away from home. Limited phone signal for Internet, not a problem for me as we were having a rest for a few days. Pub was lovely and welcoming. Great staff. Beautiful place altogether.

Had a delicious meal, lovely atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, log fire (wet and chilly August evening), pool table. Fab!

Really beautiful place, stunning views and run by really good people

Small room but with a beautiful walk-in shower room.Unfortunately dirty marks streaked up the walls adjacent the bed, check-in wasn't welcoming with very little lighting as the pub was closed. Poor breakfast for the £135 a night, self serve bacon and sausage with bread and a toaster and the usual fruit and cereal etc. Overall not a great experience for a two night £270 stay.

Stayed in one of the shepherds huts for a wedding and was lovely. Slightly warm through the night as we were fortunate to have lovely weather but despite this the bed was comfy and was nice to have a little kitchen area in the morning to make breakfast. 5 minute taxi drive to browsholme (40 minute walk but definitely not suitable for walking so don’t do what we thought to do and think a leisurely walk home will be fine! 😂). Lovely hosts and my partner had breakfast in the morning and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Will likely stay again and recommend - Thankyou!

We visited here during a wedding event we were invited too. We were very impressed. This was our first glamping experience in a yurt. On arrival we were greeted by the owner. He was very helpful and showed us to our yurt and showed us how things work like the shower. First impressions very impressed. Very cosy and comfy. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great in fact better than one we have at home. A small heater was provided and that got yurt nice and toastie. Yurt was very clean and spacious and a very good accommodation standard. Pub was also very nice. Can't comment on breakfast we we didn't make it (too many drinkies night before!)
