The Best Pork Sandwich Ever. Having struggled to find a tea room/ cafe/garden centre with refreshments we stumbled across this place, only serving take aways at the moment, but what an amazing sandwich, I had pork stuffing and apple sauce, hubby ( who is really fussy) had ham lettuce and tomato. Both were very fresh, meat was tender. Superb. Thank you.

We had an anniversary lunch of homemade hot crusty meat pies, mash and veg. Everything made by Tim in his kitchen at the tea room. Everything was absolutely lovely, including our host. If you can get past security and pass the interview, Friday pie-day is a must! Don't forget to lick your plates, or there'll be trouble😉

Village shop & Tea room. Very helpful & friendly owner. Delicious breakfast sandwiches. Shop was dog friendly, we bought takeaway so not sure if the tea room is. Tables & chairs outside. Cash only (or bank transfer). Value for money.

We were a group of 10 cyclist and we popped in for a sandwich and a coffee. The sandwiches were brilliant as was the coffee and cakes. A brilliant little place in a brilliant setting. 👍

Google page opening hours are wrong. We wanted to do afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday, rang to check that would be ok for Monday afternoon, to be told it’s closed on a Monday, it’s says closed Tuesday on the Google page 😩 really wanted to stay local 🤷🏻‍♀️

A great find after a long days walking. Very friendly and accommodating. Nit had a cafeteria of coffee for a long time, and the jug of hot water to top the tea pot was a nice touch.

Brilliant sausage egg and bacon bap, and lovely locally baked scones. Not expensive, and very cheerful and helpful service.
