Brilliant takeaway! They have great vegan options - not just tofu/veg, but plant-based chicken/plant-based beef too (just not on the menu yet, but ring and ask). Generous portion sizes and all tasted great. 5*, definitely ordering again!

This is hands down the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. We had a set menu for 2 and everything was delicious. Normally I’m not a fan of duck because everywhere 8’ve had it it’s always been dry but this was moist and juicy and I couldn’t fault it even if I wanted to. We also had sweet and sour chicken- you can’t go wrong and Pork in their O.K sauce which was utterly amazing. We were talking to the owner while we were in their and he was incredibly friendly. We will definitely be going back. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Oh wow! The chef has simply given up. The food was genuinely unexceptional. The fried chicken in my dish was chewy and seemed days old. The rice and [especially] the chips were completely overcooked. These are cheap and easy to make yet this takeaway managed to serve undoubtedly warmed, old produce. Genuinely, if you can't get the rice and chips right, how can a customer trust the main dish?? The rice was more like Thai sticky-rice and the chips were shrivelled and seemed visibly days old. I live locally and I won't go back unless there is a buy-out with new owners.

My kids are very picky, Regent House adapted their meals without issue, my Vermicilli was super fresh and tasty, kids were very happy and said it was the best They'd had. Starters and sauce were a hit. Kids gave it a 9 and a 10. Very impressed. Will definitely use again

After reading some positive reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. Very bad idea. I had chicken Satay that I believe is a rich peanut sauce usually. The sauce was insipid and barely tasted of peanuts at all. It was dreadful. The chicken was inedible. I threw it away. Very cheap reformed chicken. I could not offer anything positive about this establishment.

First visit, spicy special and special fried rice, seperate portion of chips. Both dishes very bland especially the spicy one. Chips very dry and like warm ups. £20 for 2 meals, not worth the money at all, would not return

Visiting the area for a weekend break, chippy had reviews in the lodge guest book quoting nice food... Understatement. Dry, shriveled chips that could put a window through, thick black hair in my chicken fried rice and chewy, rubbery chicken for the satay :) how delightful. Tossed in the bin and left a review in the visitor book too!

From the staggeringly poor ingredients to the “let’s not tell the customers until after they’ve ordered the food that we don’t take cards” nonsense it’s hard to come up with enough vocab to say how dreadful this awful flawed place is. Please please avoid

Food is excellent and the front of house staff are very friendly. The boss at the back is a grumpy guy but hey as long as he sticks to cooking it's grand.

Worst Chinese I've ever had. Used to be good but quality now in the toilet. Chips so dried up, they could be used as bullets and obviously inedible, rice overcooked and sticky. Food bland and chicken tough! Obviously, not busy enough to sell the food they cook, so when you order you get warmed up food. When I complained, he told me to bring the food back and I had to get it out of the bin!! Really bad customer service. Will never order from them again and I live 3 doors away!! I would give zero stars but he gave me my money back.

Fantastic half crispy duck.. Chicken fried rice is excellent and a huge portion.Chicken and spring onion with ginger and Chicken and veg also excellent..

Best Chinese in the area, third a few things from there, last time it was curry. Meat felt fresh and soft, rice was nice, curry was nice, with a bit of a spice to it, just right for it to not be blunt. Will be ordering again today, so excited 😊
