Ordered from here a few times and unfortunately I find it very hit and miss. A few times we have had pizza where the dough has been very thick, Chewy and slightly undercooked 🤔 I've had to put it in the oven to crisp up which you shouldn't have to do with a takeaway. Have messaged but never had a response.

Really really disappointed. The overcooked pasta was drowning in badly cooked tomato sauce, bad quality ingredients. Starters were ok, but not enough to save this review.

Having waited 2 hours for our food which was stone cold and one lasagne missing from our order only to be told that they were too busy to replace the missing item. Very poor all round

Please do not use this takeaway. It is appalling. It was our anniversary, so we splashed out on starters and mains. They gave us a wrong part order but refused point blank to change it. The garlic bread was like sawdust, and the chicken kebab was all salad, with a couple of chunks of very dry chicken. All of our food was cold. very expensive mistake. Would not use it again.

Ordered a carbonara for delivery. Turned up, very sticky, tastes just like cream and couldn't find any bacon at all. Rang up to explain and it's impossible and i am wrong. Wont be going there again

Very unfortunate but my first and only experience will be my last, missed 2 items from my delivery order, one of the pizzas was very underdone and please start actually using decent prawns! Those things you put on the pizzas really can't be classed as prawns. Very poor food. What turned up anyway

Waited 90mins for food & it arrived cold. First time using this place, we will stick to romeros.

The worst takeaway I have ever had! The chicken wrap with some grungy salad thrown in a naan bread with battered chicken that looked and tasted like a cold, uncooked, battered crabstick! Cold soggy chips, the pizza (that looked cheese less) was awful and cold. There were 2 not one 2! Long hairs in the kebab! I called Vesuvio and spoke to the manager who responded with ‘we will do better next time’!! The man is a joke! So we were left hungry as the food was not edible, with no refund! So we ordered a curry instead! AVOID AT ALL Costs!!

I was working nearby and we got full catering but I had to go here a couple of times. The pizza is outstanding. I had the 'Spicy Anna'. Great food and service. I will be back.

Ordered a cheese and tomato pizza with garlic bread. Didn't realise I would get a cheeseless and tomato pizza. Apparently the cheese melts completely!!! Wasn't happy to rectify when taken back straight away. Least to say we won't be returning, very disappointed.

Worst pizza we’ve ever had. Doughy and no topping, was supposed to be pepperoni and not one piece on every slice! Chips were soggy We ordered a chicken kebab, the pitta was like a doughy pizza base, salad soggy Very disappointed. Won’t be ordering again.

Brilliant Italian style thin crust take away pizza from a wood fired oven. Really friendly helpful service. Pizzas every bit as good as the ones we had earlier this year in Tuscany. Nice garlic bread too though it goes cold quite quickly. Mixed sauteed Mediterranean veg was a tasty accompaniment. Would def go back.

Got a mixed kebab had 3 pieces of chicken on and the donner was shockingly disgusting and cold would not recommend

Reasonably priced food and drink. Pastas were good and plenty. There was a singer on when we were there which added to the atmosphere. Lovely and quick service.

My previous favourite local pizza takeaway had gone downhill, so I gave Vesuvio another try today. Based on this visit, I will be coming back. Good quality, home made pizza, made fast and good value.

Well it’s finally happened. All good places do go through this. It turns terrible. There’s a clear ingredient swap from quality to cheap. The marinara tastes canned and the cheese isn’t good. I understand there’s inflation, and cost of living but be honest with people. First few years it was the best in town but the slip likely due to a change of owners?

ordered a special kebab, the dough was that thick it was like a blanket, very undercooked, filling just like a tinned chicken and mushroom... hubby had supposedly braised steak in a tomato sauce, cheap meat tinned tomato sauce.. first order, and the last.. I can make better at home
