One month later & I still cry over my hair. Uneven haircut that she attempted to cover up. Extremely choppy & she also took thinning scissors or whatever to my hair which I was super confused about because I wanted the thickness along with the ONE length bob I specifically asked for several times & was promised & I didn’t even get that.. Prior to this haircut , I had thick & curly hair now it’s very thin , uneven & disgusting. I wish I could fix it but sadly I just have to wait for it to grow out. I wish I would have never come to this place. It has truly destroyed my life. I have cancelled all events for the rest of the year & I am looking into wigs and sew ins now because I cannot go outside like this & I actually never leave because of this haircut. Please please please consider going elsewhere for your haircut. I called & explained all of this & they weren’t even remorseful. I understand we are all human & I understand that it wasn’t done intentionally but honestly letting someone cut hair that clearly needs more training is scary. I hope the owner sees this so they can reevaluate letting her ( I won’t say her name ) do hair again or until she is more trained at least. Sorry for the rant but I went in looking for a mommy haircut & left looking like a clown.

I hardly leave reviews, but I absolutely loved my experience at The Beauty Parlor that I had to share! I went in for a haircut with Mariana and I was absolutely blown away. I cut about 7 inches off and I’m always concerned with how my shorter hair looks. This is the first time I’ve been absolutely in love with a shorter haircut! Mariana took the time to hear my concerns and was super receptive. The salon itself is super pretty and all the staff were extremely nice. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate!!

My two Boys had a blast!! Staff in the restaurant were especially nice and patient even with two young and wild kids. We hope to come back many more times.

The space is vibrant and beautiful. Everyone is always welcoming, fun, and highly competent. We LOVE Evamarie who has been cutting our hair for years. My daughter and I have different hair, I'm thick and straight, she's thick and curly. But the team there does an amazing job with both of us. Highly recommend The Beauty Parlor!

I had gone to the Beauty Parlor a number of times. When my wonderful hair stylist left and I tried to renew the highlights with a new person, they came out awful and uneven. Unfortunately, Beaty Parlor does not have an easy way to cancel future appointments. You need to call during their opening hours. When I cancelled the next appointment, they charged me $43 for no show. While cancelling on the phone, nobody said they would charge me $43. So not only did I end up with bad highlights that I needed to fix at another salon (not trusting to go back to the last person), I had to pay $43 to cancel the appointment. I would not recommend this salon.

I am getting married in a few days & coloring my hair to my natural hair color was so important to me... Josephine did an AMAZING job in balancing out the natural color of my hair to the roots down. Her & Ruth were extremely sweet, and made me feel very comfortable & welcomed. Jessica cut my hair and it was PERFECT! I wanted to keep my length but still have a healthy cut and that's exactly what I got. I loved her, along with Nelly who styled my hair and whom is very talented!! Needless to say I will definitely be coming back. ❤ Highly recommend!

I had my first visit to The Beauty Parlor recently, and what a great experience! You're immediately welcomed in a casual way that puts you at ease, and my stylist Mariana even wore a mask per my request, which shows that they care about the client's all-around comfort level. Mariana was excellent, and if you're looking for someone who knows how to do short cuts I'd highly recommend her. She really took the time to examine my hair, understand the cut I was looking for, and make suggestions based on my hair type and growth pattern. Once the cut began, she was laser-focused on getting it right down to the last detail. In short, she is GREAT. It's been a long time since I went to a salon, but this experience was such a great welcome back into the environment. I will definitely be back!

Tara did an amazing job transforming my one dimensional hair color into exactly what I was looking for with a balayage treatment. Highly recommend. The views of the Hudson don’t hurt either.

I absolutely love this place, I fly in from my home state, TX just to get my hair done here. Josephine does an amazing job every single time. Also their snack selection is top tier. You know you can enjoy a nice bag of chips while getting the best color simultaneously. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I've been going here for the last 2 years. I get cut and color with Evamarie and am always happy with the outcome. Its a beautiful salon and everyone is welcoming. I love that its a comfortable and relaxing experience with great views of the Hudson River.

I don't even know where to begin when writing my review about the amazing owner, Jessica, and co. From the time you walk in, you're greeted like you're an old friend that everyone is happy to see. Your coat is hung and they wrap you in a beautiful silk robe while you receive a choice of tea, coffee, (cappucinno even!), or a delightful glass of wine or prosecco, should it call for such an occasion! No matter your stylist, they go over (IN DETAIL) what the goal is that day, and from there you let the artists do their work - and artists they are! I haven't had my hair done since before the pandemic and have since lost my stylist from cancer... Let me tell you, Jessica's warmth, candor, transparency, HUMOR, and overall just salt-to-the-earth goodness brought me to tears by the end of my appointment - literally. Jessica is your girl's girl that will not let you leave until your dream hair goals are brought to life, and this woman delivers! The Beauty Parlor nurtures a very strong work ethic and gives timeless energy to mastering every craft - my balayage is living proof of that! Beautiful business, beautiful people, hands-down the best salon I have ever been to and I've lived all over the country. The easiest 5/5 stars ever!

The Beauty Parlor is amazing. I am very picky and very particular about my hair and i have never left there upset. i usually see Jillian she’s amazing she’s done full head of highlights the perfect blonde exactly what i wanted and i’ve had a ton of haircuts short and long with her, always perfect. i’ve also seen eva marie and dom and they both were amazing as well. this is the only beauty salon i would recommend. not to mention the location is sooo beautiful and clean everyone is nice and efficient. only good things never had a bad experience.

Mariana is aaaaaaaamazing. If you’re one of those people who leave the salon every time hating your hair then she’s for you. I’ve never been happy with my hair until now. Beauty Parlor in general is great (they also handled my wedding and it was perfect). Beautiful views at the salon and very relaxing. Ask for the mint green tea next time you’re there. Delish:)

Been coming here for 3+ years for a men's longer hair cut - love my guy Nick and the whole crew, they provide an upscale styling experience for a fair price, 100/100 reccommend it!

Extremely overpriced for what it is! They try hard to sell their products which makes you uncomfortable! Also, I really didn’t appreciate how the girl at the front simply ignored my presence for good 10 min, I was honestly just thinking to leave but then the stylist checked me in. Great way to make me not want to come back.

My aunt is a VERY picky woman! Josephine was amazing at listening to her many requests, and recommending a look that suited her perfectly. She left a very fulfilled and happy lady :) I highly recommend you come to this salon for the expertise and amazing care that is offered… such a great experience.
