This place has literally been on my radar for almost two years; I read a review citing its incredible burgers and it has taken this long for me to get up this way (2 hours from home, thanks to a client meeting in the area). Let me begin by saying this place has been described as a 'dive bar' and though I don't have much experience with establishments of that classification, I'd say that's pretty accurate. It's small, intimate, and during the day at least, likely a shadow of its rockin' self at night when the live music is playing. But, I digress... You are looking at the aptly-named "Meat Lovers Burger," which has their 1/2 pound Angus beef patty, crispy bacon (I counted at least eight, possibly ten slices), fried pepperoni, grilled Taylor Ham ('Pork Roll'? Not on your LIFE!), cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. I wish I'd taken a photo as the waitress brought it over, I could tell it was epic from 20 feet away. Can a burger be "too big"? Yes, it can, obviously, and the Meat Lovers Burger (and possibly others on the menu) should come with instructions: "some disassembly may be required." I literally had to remove the bacon (and eat it like a french fry, separately, after each bite) to have even the most REMOTE chance of fitting this monster into my mouth. IT WAS SO WORTH THE EFFORT! The bun-to-meat ratio was adequate only because of the MASSIVE amount of meat in the sandwich. The bun itself was similarly MASSIVE and not really to my taste as I try to avoid bread as much as possible (low-carb dieting, you know.) The burger was cooked acceptably (I asked for rare, seemed to come out a little more well done) but the rest of the assembly was flawless, making this CLEARLY among my Top Ten burgers of all time. The fries (the few that I had) were tasty and the service was fast and friendly, just what you'd expect. Parking is available but be advised the painted lines on the pavement aren't always super visible so you might find yourself getting creative with where you park. I had no problem (visited around 3pm on a weekday). Loved the place, loved the service, will totally come back when I am in the area!

OMG this place!! Came here with my wife just as a random stop, and it was a grand slam!! Total dive bar atmosphere (in that best kind of way) with the most friendly bartender and biggest portions I've ever seen! The food was excellent and so was the company. Joann was absolutely spectacular!

Picked up dinner to go last night. The heroes and burgers are huge!! Enough for leftovers. They are delicious too. I very rarely eat fries but they smelled so good, I had to try them. Im glad i did. Lots of food for a good price.

The burgers here are insane. If your not a big eater get the sliders. The steak and cheese is enough to feed 2 people and my goodness is it good. Prices are great too.

We checked out this place for dinner and drinks because a band we like was playing. I grew up nearby and did not have high hopes. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The sound for the band was good and the food was better! We had wings and meatball sliders and were very happy with both. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic location, ownership, restaurant, staff, food and great music. Live music every Friday and Saturday and open mic acts on Wednesday. The best burgers this side of the Mississippi River.

Love this place, excellent food and staff! Portions are insane. Sadly, they continued the pandemic practic of boxing everything with Styrofoam which detracts from the eat-in experience and is a collasal waste!! Use the dishes!!!!

PROS: This place is a nice little bar that i always wanted to go to. It's cozy, rustic inside, the staff is very friendly, there are many food options on the menu with good prices and the size portions they give you can feed a pack of elephants-- very large portions! They have open mic nights on Wednesdays. CONS: Place is a little small inside and so too is the parking lot. It's hard to back out of it sometimes cause its off a busy road and your car will hit the street due to the decline. OVERALL: Excellent place to go to because of the food, entertainment, and nice staff that work there. Bring your appetite and your singing voice on wednesdays

The food was Incredible. All the staff were friendly. What a fun place to go. Friday nights they have live music. We left before the band started but all the other patrons raved about it. You have to try it.

Can’t stress enough how cool this place is. It’s an awesome motorcycle bar and good place to socialize but the quality and quantity of food they give, yep I would give 100 stars if I could

The DogHouse is my favorite place for comfort food. The portions are large and full of flavor! They have a huge including selection of burgers, wing flavors, cheesesteaks, chicken, appetizers, and more! The staff is always friendly and I love the atmosphere. I eat here whenever I get the chance. ☺️

Do NOT eat at this restaurant! There was a terrible odor, we waited an hour and a half for 2 burgers which came with no pickles or lettuce or tomatoes as written on the Menu. The worst part though was the staff. They made ridiculous excuses and were extremely rude. The “de facto”’manager cursed at us and complained to other patrons that we were rude. She is the most unprofessional staff person we have ever dealt with. DO NOT EAT HERE !!

Enjoyed the Vibes of this place. Reminds me of a lost time just a down-home place to listen to some good music especially Richie Ranno. Glad dropped by and will return perhaps for the Open Mic Jam.

Neighborhood type bar/restaurant more about bar. Food servings are HUGE. Live music provided by local cover bands. The group we saw (Rock Solid) did a nice high energy set.

The food is really good but they never get the order right. I came with one of my friends a few times it was always wrong. Tonight I came with my son and we ordered. She walked away and I said to him.. don’t matter it’s gonna be wrong. They put the plate down and it’s wrong.. we both start laughing.

Really solid bar food and drinks in large portions at very reasonable prices. The burgers are memorable and monstrous, and the wings are perfect for football Sundays. The atmosphere is a little intimidating. It feels very much like a "towny" / biker bar (despite friendly servers and bartenders). The decor hasn't seemingly changed in 30 years -- if you like big neon Bud Light signs and wood panel accents, you'll love it. The parking can be a bit challenging and confusing.

They serve you in take out containers in the restaurant, its really gross. I came in to dine in, not foam in. Waiter claims it's above his pay to discuss. This place was one of our stops on the highway. It's a shame how far it has gone done hill since it was on the history channel. 15 years... sad to loose the patina on a place lice this.

This could have been 5 star but Atmosphere wasn't that great people were so loud acting as if they were the only people in the place There was only one way dress when we were there I don't know why but everything came in to go containers and plastic plates Food was very good but atmosphere was terrible

Had the breakfast burger there. It was huge an good but not great. 20 bucks. Then got the signature meatball parm to go. 24 buck, huge but not really good meatballs in my opinion. Not really worth the money. People were nice and service was good. Bigger isn't always better. On the fence about going back there for the food. Again not terrible but not so great 🤷‍♂️
