What a wonderful wonderful at LaViano jewelers in Westwood. My fiancé picked out a stunning engagement ring for me with the help of Bert at LaViano. He's so knowledgeable, and helpful. It was such a great experience we went back together today to pick out wedding bands. Everything I heard was true. Bert really took the time to understand what we were looking for and ultimately found it. Couldn't be happier.

The only Jeweler I will trust with my emerald-cut engagement ring is Jeff LaViano. My husband Neal and I had just finished lunch and my center diamond literally fell out inside our car into my lap last weekend, so we raced over to LaViano Jewelers to get it repaired and into his good hands immediately. Jeff was extremely polite, welcoming and greeted us with a huge smile. He even showed us the ring under a microscope and said the prong head needed full replacement and confidently assured us that the ring would be ready in just (3) business days! He personally emailed with me and called me by 12 noon on the third business day and had it ready on his desk when we returned so he could personally chat with us when we came back yesterday. Since the ring was purchased [elsewhere] back in 2009, Jeff proactively offered to provide a brand new appraisal (based on our original GIA paperwork from the previous Jeweler) for insurance purposes. Thank goodness we did that, since it turns out it gained nearly $4K in value since it was originally purchased, which made us feel great! Now we can update our insurance paperwork properly this week, too! There is no wonder why LaViano Jewelers has been in business since 1945. We are both really pleased with the service we received - the engagement ring looks brand new and my husband is over-the-moon happy that we got it fixed so fast! Thank you for everything, Jeff! I recently purchased a Grand Seiko watch at LaViano Jewelers. Mike, the salesman was fantastic. He put up with my stories about watches, and our discussions on the relationships between Authorized Dealers (ADs) and the brands they represent. I can tell you that Mike and Chris are absolutely fantastic. Unlike many ADs, they are happy to help their customers and treat them right. LaViano has a store in Westwood, NJ and Warwick, NY. Go local and consider them for your online watch purpose. You will be well taken care of.

A family friend recommended Jeff LaViano so I went there to buy my (now) fiancé an engagement ring. Jeff and his team did a terrific job. My fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with the ring. Our family has always come to LaViano for all of our watch and jewellery repairs, and are always made to feel so welcome. Recently we had a bigger project, where Jeff re-set (and re-designed) my engagement ring, and it came out absolutely beautifully. So thrilled with the result!

I've never shopped the brick and mortar location, but I did find a great price on a specific watch I've been looking at for a while on their website. I called to get some details and Mike checked the inventory and gave me all the information I was looking for before I placed my order. Probably less than an hour later I had a nice follow up email from Mike in my inbox including my tracking information. The watch arrived quickly, packed beautifully, and exactly as described. I'll definitely use LaViano for my next watch purchase.

My nephew is getting married on Saturday. I thought I was all set to attend. I had the dress, the bag, the shoes, etc. My girlfriend even ordered earrings for me with stones that matched the dress perfectly. However, I neglected to try the earrings on! So, three days before the wedding I realize the hoop earrings are HUGE and definitely not a look I can pull off. Well, in a panic I went over to LaViano to see if there was a way to make the hoops smaller. They immediately understood both the urgency and task at hand. They drew out a model showing me the size that they felt would work best and did the adjustment immediately. Let’s face it - prompt, skilled assistance like this is virtually unheard of today! Further, they even offered to clean my rings while they did the work, so they would be sparkly and ready for the wedding too! In a busy world, we are often rushing and can absolutely make mistakes. How truly impressed and relieved I was to have to have the committed and caring staff at LaViano on my side this afternoon. Just wanted to share for all those seeking such simply unrivaled excellence.

Been to both locations, recently purchased earrings and a ring for my wife in Westwood, and I'm having another ring altered. Incredibly helpful, quick turnarounds, reasonably priced, very knowledgable. Excellent selection of watches as well.

Great place with great service. Read some of the other reviews and the negative ones appear to be based off politics instead of actual merit for a jewelry store. This store has good products, an owner who cares, and unique designs and craftsmanship. Comments below that talk about a “diamond” price don’t take into account the entire picture. Also, something like that is so subjective. I spend a lot on Jewlery and watches, I shop from Rodeo, 5th Ave, to wholesalers and family owned shops like La Viano. They’re fair with their prices. Is there cheaper, sure, is there more expensive, absolutely. But you don’t get the relationship, craftsmanship, knowledge, and customer service experience with those other options. People who are actual shoppers and not one time buyers will appreciate the value of a relationship with a place that values the relationship back. That’s LaVianos. Ignore the 1 star reviews, I’ve read them and they sound like people who just don’t know and like to complain. For an experienced Jewlery shopper that spends six figures a year on watches and Jewlery and shops around, take it from me this is a great place. They got me the watch I wanted for my wife on short notice, they custom order things I like, full service. As for the guy about the Rolex, he clearly has never bought a watch before. Unless you go to an AD you won’t get box and papers in your name. Good luck going to an AD and finding a Rolex. Be happy you got one for a price you clearly liked. If not join the 5 year wait list, spend 50 grand on ancillary Jewlery at that place, and the. you can have your own name on the papers. Also they don’t advertise they’re a Rolex store, so I don’t know why you would think that.
