Didn't
approve
under
emergency
authorizations
Pfizer
vaccines
for
under
two
when
there
was
data
that
said
it
was
safe
and
effective.
Similarly
didn't
approve
Moderna
vaccines
for
under
5
as
soon
as
the
data
was
available,
and
instead
choose
to
wait
to
review
the
data
once
Pfizer
3
dose
vaccines
could
be
evaluated
at
the
same
time.
Reasoning
is
obtuse
at
best.
In
the
time
that
the
FDA
has
been
sitting
on
its
hands,
parents
have
had
to
deal
with
the
most
infectious
forms
of
covid
with
Omicron
and
variants
with
zero
support,
all
while
public
safeguards
have
been
completely
rolled
back.
There's
zero
sense
of
urgency
from
this
agency
in
a
still
ongoing
pandemic.
Incompetent.
It's
not
just
the
risk
to
children,
which
albeit
low,
the
vaccine
prevents,
but
also
the
return
to
normalcy
and
less
stress
for
families
with
young
children.
