So so happy to have found this yummy sandwich shop. Their plant based vegan options were top notch! The veggies and bread are fresh and the sauces were bomb! Rio and Vanessa gave us excellent customer service. I hope they are trying all the yummy vegan options you offer. Every little meal can make such a difference for our health and climate. Ordered two handsome owls. I wanted them vegan Style. Once I receive my sandwiches I asked if they were vegan and the guy argued me and said I gave him an attitude. Unfortunate Lee instead of taking responsibility he turned it around trying to make it seem as if I was the problem. Completely untrue. I ended up getting a refund. Only because the woman behind the counter made it a point to take over and help she looked extremely shocked and very apologetic all the other guy just walked in the back and started cursing. If management is listening. The guy with the dreadlocks wearing a hat. Black guy. He was very unprofessional. He is definitely going to cause a lawsuit one of these days.

Great food-Great service Short story- My wife and I (before we were married) ate at the Ike’s in the Castro back in 2010 and we thought it was amazing. We actually met Ike who came out to chat with our friend because she told them to write “Superwoman” on her sandwich sack. A few years later, my wife was working at a coffee shop up in Santa Rosa and an Ike’s moved it next door. We actually bought their sandwiches the day I proposed to her and we later asked if they could cater our wedding (they couldn’t). We moved overseas for two years and when we came back we drove up to Alameda/Daly City to have Ike’s. Since day one, we have ordered the same sandwiches: Barry B (turkey sandwich) and the Jerry’s Big Meat (or All Meat, I cant ever remember). At the Fresno location, both were excellent and tasted just as good as they have in all of the other locations for the past nine years. Moreover, the staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. We are super excited to have Ike’s in Fresno and we highly recommend people to try it!

Never greeted,Ordered 2 sandwiches just as they come, 2 people ahead of me (waiting on food), only 1 customer after me(1 sandwich)and it still took 30 MIN to get my order! Plus they skipped me to give the order after me away. 3 employees working btw Second time in hoping it would change my last experience but no change sadly because the sandwiches are tasty.

The venue is nice enough for a restaurant of this type. However, the staff work very slowly (and I’ve been multiple times so I know it’s not just a few people) and aren’t super helpful. One employee had AirPods in and eventually took one out to hear the order. The food itself is good, and their gluten free bread is fantastic.

This is the best kept secret!! All of the sandwiches I've tried have been amazing!! The fact that they do vegan and vegetarian so well is phenomenal!! I used to be vegan but I now will eat meat once in a while. But here I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything!! The meatball sandwich (vegetarian) is my favorite of all of them! Meat or veggie!

Came to this location for the first time as I was craving for the SF on Dutch that i usually get in Cupertino. This location had the worst service and the sandwich I ordered was not the usual order. It seems the server didn’t even want to serve us, he was stalling pretending he didn’t work there and then when he did serve us he was unpleasant. What made it worst was the sandwich he gave us ! It was very little meat and toppings. I have Ike’s SF sandwiches often and thus by far was not what I expected. It was 5pm on a Thursday…not returning to this location. I suggest buddy with the dreads look for something else to do since he clearly wasn’t interested in customer service.

Everything I get from this place is so perfect and delicious 😋 Whoever is working at this location is doing a great job at making these sandwiches. Plus, they're nice people so be nice to them!! My phone can't capture how tasty this one was! smh

I LOVE IKEs! I lived in San Francisco when Ikes first started up and I’ve loved the sandwiches from the start. When I moved to Oakland, i was thrilled when Ikes opened up a shop in Oakland. Now I live in the Fresno area and I’m so glad there’s an Ike’s out here too! Ikes is delicious and there are tons of vegan and vegetarian options. Yum! Get you some!

Wonderful sandwiches, with a huge variety of options. Didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for 2 sandwiches and I was full after one half and that's saying a lot for me lol

Great service. Lady at counter was friendly. I was a little confused by the menu, so i just asked the lady if i could get what l was craving (cold turkey and cheddar) and she said sure and it is delicious. I got the bread toasted. So good!

I initially wanted to give the place 4 stars because yes, it's true, the wait is definitely long even with not as many guest's, (one in process and one ahead of us) but I did take not that about 4 car shops guys had ordered from what I assume online or over the phone. The wait was DEFINITELY worth it. DO NOT skip the fries, these sandwiches and their fries are a couple, unless you're not into fries then go for chips, will be returning and trying chips. Perfect place for vegetarians and vegans, not an overwhelming menu so that's amazing. The customer service was just as great as the subs and let me tell you.. these are the best subs in town (sorry Jimmy John's)Spent around $28 on 2 subs and fries including a $2 tip

Sandwiches are good, customer service sucks!!!!! My order went to the wrong location, I tried calling both locations to let them know (campus pointe and Palm/Herndon) and nobody answered. I tried calling BOTH locations for 20minutes straight as I did not want to drive across town since gas is expensive. Because my calls went unanswered, I had to waste my gas and drive across town. Ridiculous!!!!! I don’t understand how hard it is to answer a phone! because of this, they lost my business 👎🏼

Ike's sandwiches are amazing. As for the staff that works there, not so much. I've been to this location a handful of times and the service is very slow, unhelpful and the staff never engage with the customers whatsoever. No hello, no thanks for coming in, etc. nothing...Tip for management: Hire friendly people. Will go to other locations from now on.

IKE'S Sandwiches was really cool. The fun color scheme was super inviting as we glanced over the impressive menu. The sandwich names and ingredients really make this place unique, it is a tasteful mix of quality ingredients sure to impress mature tastebuds and down-to-earth signage and employees who made me feel really comfortable and confident about what I was ordering. To no surprise, the place was relatively busy for lunch, but we didn't mind waiting a few minutes for our food. The Dutch crunch bread was outstanding, as were the toppings. I normally don't eat any sauce on my sandwiches and was a little freaked out when I saw some upon inspection. I decided to be brave and I was not disappointed. It too, was outstanding. Although it was our first time at Ike's, there was something uniquely nostalgic about the joint that almost brought me back. It could have been the smell of the freshly baked bread.. either way, this place is definitely worth a try next time you are in Fresno and looking for a spot to grab a quick lunch. Don't forget the Zapp's potato chips (a sign the sandwich will be good)!

Amazing team. Excellent service. I love the part where they treat you like family. One of my favorite spots to enjoy vegetarian sandwiches. They have over 100 vegetarian choices. I recommend this place to those who haven’t tried it yet.

We had lunch at the Palmdon location and the whole experience was wonderful. Great service and the food is delicious. I ordered the Roadrunner vegan. Holy wow!!! Best ever. I highly recommend visiting if you get a chance. The choices are endless and the service is tops. So very glad we moved to California and now I can try every Ike’s sandwich on the menu. Great place!
