We had dinner reservations and were disappointed to realize, upon arrival, that there is no smoke-free section in the entire restaurant. It is 2022, and some of us like to have our dinner smoke-free, which is a basic standard in restaurants all around the world. Next thing I encountered was a rude bartender – I wanted to ask about the street parking arrangements, and the bartender could not be bothered answering me (not even 'sorry I am busy, please ask the hostess'). After such a stormy beginning, we ordered our food. The waitress was patient and kind and the food was tasty (not taking into account the cigarettes smell and smoke all around us). It took a while for the starters to arrive but it took FOREVER for the main course to get served (20 minutes after finishing with the starters). No matter how good your food is, if there is a delay in the kitchen (can happen), the minimum required is for the staff to notify about it in advance. It is also customary to offer a little something while you wait – this was not the case last night.

Cozy place and great food. The service could be improved a bit. Initially we had to wait for the waitress to come to the table, and after we finished eating she asked us 3 times if we want something else to drink. That was a bit uncomfortable and we had the feeling that she is rushing us to leave. The restaurant wasn't full and we stayed aprox 15-20 minutes to finish our drinks.

We have been here with a couple of friends for dinner. The place was lovely, with a relaxed atmosphere and very thoughtful service. We did order multiple types of dishes and drinks, and have been satisfied with our choices. The only drawback was the portion size, which feels unjustified given the price and the fact that no dish has awed us.

We stumbled across Social People by accident and had a wonderful experience. The waiter, Mihai (Michael) was attentive and friendly making several suggestions and we decided on a hummus appetizer to start which was delicious and more than enough to share. Our two main course dishes including a wonderful baked chicken breast dish with a sweet potato sides and my wife ordered the mac and cheese; both were excellent. We shared a dessert dish called “papanasi” that was fantastic and I highly recommend trying. Overall, this was one of the best meals we’ve had since we arrived in Romania, I would absolutely eat here again if our stay allowed.

The place was very nice and cozy, with brilliant service. The waiter was really nice and even brought us some on-the-house cream cheese as an appetiser. Only giving it 3 stars because the chef went a bit crazy with the salt and pepper in both the pasta and the risotto.

I had a wonderful, tasty lunch with great service and good price. The location is very accessible. Highly recommended for people looking for great value for the money.

Lovely food, friendly and prompt service, we ate twice today here and will be back.

Tasty food, cozy place and good service

Very clean, nice ambient (good music -jazz - at low volume), good draft beer (Kozel), friendly staff, good food (mushroom soup is delicious) and big portions (beer and soup was enough, we had to take away the main course).

Trendy/Modern restaurant with a nice bar and great food. I had the beef cheeks with mashed potatoes and carrots. Digital menu and website has a way to call your waiter/waitress, and they were very responsive.

Food is good, there’s a nice selection of wines, good atmosphere for dinner with friends where you can actually hear each other speak. Bonus points for how lovely & welcoming everyone was with our dog.

We went as a group of 8, the place was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday. All the items on the menu was good and the prices were fair as well. The staff was prompt and the atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely, will return when in Cluj-Napoca.

Place looks great but the food (tartar, pork ) is small portions the weight indicated in the menu is double what you'll get except for soup that was tasty and respected the weight ;)

My recent visit to Social People was an absolute disaster. Despite making a reservation two weeks in advance, they completely forgot about it. The service was appalling, with disinterested staff and slow responses. To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction and stated that the service did not deserve a tip, they shockingly insisted that tipping was mandatory, regardless of their performance. I strongly advise against dining here. Look for a restaurant that values its customers and provides a better experience. Avoid Social People at all costs.

Pre booked weeks in advance as I had heard this place was special. Sadly not so special for our party of 6. We decided to sit inside for the air conditioning. We were then forgotten about. We twice had to go and get someone to serve us drinks 30 minutes apart. The food was poor, the chips were cooked and recooked, ribs were dry and the burger was lacking in taste. The air conditioning was either turned off or lowered as we were eating. Not sure how this place has good reviews?

It was amazing; the food was delightful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place has a very good and enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice pub/restaurant. The prices are not so accessible however the food is 👌🏼👌🏼 Nothing to say about the services. Promptly and friendly stuff. Will go for sure again.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. It's a beautiful place in the middle of the city. Unfortunately the food was just decent, not so good if you look at it a little closer. It's ok to eat but don't have high hopes. Stick to beers and socialize.

The service was confusing, we were left unsure if it was due to the language or staff. It took multiple attempts to get the drinks and food ordered. The food order was missing a dish and the food was bland. Atmosphere and decor were commendable, a lovely setting.

Restaurant is a bit strange how it is arranged inside, the food it is on average, we had pork ribs. But the dessert...amazing! We had Chef's dolce one of my best deserts served in Cluj. Worth to come again only for that deserts.

One of my favorite pubs in town. Even though the menu is not extremely diverse, they make sure that everything they serve is top class. Never had a bad experience. Terrace is small but cozy, staff is polite, average to high prices, similar to other restaurants in the area. They also deliver food. Would recommend at any time

Treats on the house, delicious vegetarian dishes and the waiter tells you in advance what they don t have on the menu. Very nice!

Great food and great prices.

Nice place, good service but the music/football game was way too loud for a Tuesday evening. People go there for a drink and a chat, not to listen to loud music and shout.
