I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jaxx and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with cozy ambient lighting and nice decor. The menu had a great selection of foods, and a variety of delicious burgers but they weren’t available for the New Year’s Party. I opted for the duck with sweet potatoes mash and was blown away by how flavorful they were. The portion size was generous and the accompanying sauce was the perfect finishing touch. The service was top-notch as well. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming spot to enjoy a delicious meal and a few pints. With great food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service, it's a place I'll definitely be returning to in the future.

Super friendly staff, great central location, food was okay- nothing amazing, and about pricey. Starter: halloumi fried fingers with parmesan wedges and guacamole - 10/10. Price 38 lei ( 8 euro) It's a good starter for 2, but an entire meal for 1 person. Amazing taste with just the right amount of crunch. Main course: - filet mignon: 6/10 Price: 80 lei ( 16 euro) Wouldn't buy it again, to be honest. They didn't ask me if I want the meat mid-mid rare- done, but it arrived rare for sure. I don't quite have a problem with the rare meat, but it was strange not to be asked. Also if they bring it rare every time, I don't think a lot of ppl will enjoy the meal The potatoes as side dish were really heavy with a lot of fried onion. Don't think it's a good match for a filet mignon. The sauce was really nice and the carrots. - buttermilk fired chicken with Mac& cheese and coleslaw: 8/10 Price: 48 lei ( 10 euro) The chicken was dry, and overall a bit heavy with the Mac&cheese and mayo from the coleslaw. Overall it was delicious, would order it again some time, if I'm in the mood for comfort food.

the food was ok, but nothing exceptional. In fact, I think the prices are way too high for what they offer. The beef was alright, but it was just bland and dry. A sauce (or more of it) could improve it perhaps, but I wouldn’t order it again the way I had it yesterday.

The food here is amazing, different plates for all tastes and at moderated prices. The desserts and beverages are quite pricy but they are very tasty. Also the serving is amazing and quite fast for a restaurant, the waiters are welcoming. I highly recommend it!

If you come here to drink beer, talk with friends and have a bite then this is the place for you. Beautiful decor, lovely atmosphere. Decent food, not big portions, but good food. The draft beer was fresh the wine was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my night out.

The burgers we had were great. If I were to give a one word description i would say they were balanced as we were able to enjoy as one every single ingredient that was mentioned in the menu. Friendly staff will welcome and serve you.

Came here because a friend of us recommend the place. I looked at the menu and then asked the waiter for what's the best between pork ribs and the brisket. By far he recommended the brisket and made the choice. Waited 30 minutes to get a brisket which was dry, only the bottom part was good, had some juices, the potatoes weren't even cooked, they were raw. I asked the waiter, and he offered to bring another one, or change the order. I wanted the brisket. I had to wait 30-35 minutes again while my friends ate and finish the meal, so total time was ~ 1 hour. After that, the potatoes were almost all cooked, one had a raw bite. The waiter was the best part of the dinner, he was so kind, and the burgers which I tasted from my friends so I do not starve. I do not recommend the brisket, it's very expensive, not worth it, better go for burgers. And at the end, the waiter tried to be nicer, but I found hilarious after all the waiting and poor quality for the food giving the price to get a small candy. I left the tip just because the waiter was nice and tried to make the experience of a phatetic potato and brisket, better. The place is nice, with good music, clean.

Friendly waiters, delicious food. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was exquisite, really happy with the choice I made. Nice varieties of drinks, I recommend the McQueen Ultraviolet. They don't have decaf, which is a minus from me. However, everything was perfect hence the 5 stars.

They have a nice selection of beers, I had a great IPA but forgot the name. The food was fine, I had the Jaxx Roasted Beef. The portion was large but I'd say the dish was a bit bland/dry, although the combination with the mashed potatoes made this a bit better. Could've used a bit more vegetables and maybe mustard sauce. I came back after a few weeks and tried a Burger, this one was really good, I would suggest it over the Roasted Beef.

I only visited Jaxx 5 6 years ago when I moved to Cluj and now it was like a new experience. First things first amazing food. A rockin designe to the restaurant, very friendly staff and extremely fast. They work digitally as the waiter didn't finish taking our order while in the same time another waiter already brought us our drinks👏🏻. They have great burgers and the vibe is awesome. The place is located in the city center and it's a great place to spend your time, I personally said I'll return. For the rest I'll let the pictures to talk for themselves.

Not too bad, not too good! We had the Nachos as starter and they were really yummi. My Girlfriend had the American steak which was also good. Even nobody asked if she wanted it rare, medium or well done. Fortunately it came medium how she likes it. But sadly my texas Burger was quiet disappointing. Also nobody asked how I want my meat and as you can see on the picture it was prepared quiet rare. The meat had no roasting flavour, which at least for me is very important for a burger. As I don't like to waste food I finished it. But that caused that I was not to satisfied with my dinner. I hope next time it will be better. The service was quick and the beer was good

Really great place for drinks and awesome food. Besides they have the Tanks 😂😂 The staff is absolutely brilliant and energetic, very charismatic and fun. Big thumbs up for this place.

Definitely one of the best places I've eaten at. The servers are absolutely wonderful and kind, ready to give recommendations and walk you through the menu. The prices might seem a bit high, but the food's quality and flavor is more than worth it. The atmosphere is welcoming, the music is amazing (great place for rock fans) and their savory and sweet dishes are exceptional! If you decide to dine here, I definitely recommend trying the Jaxx Specialty and their brownies. Please don't hesitate to stop by if you're in Cluj-Napoca!

I visited this place on a Friday night, it was quite packed on the inside and the terrace mildly full. Immediately I was seated by a waitress, and not long after another came by to take the orders. I got the chicken Supreme that instead of sweet potato puree had normal potatoes and truffle paste (the menu wasn't updated, said by the server), the girl attending was very sweet checking up if everything was OK being that I told her before hand that I don't know if the truffle paste will sit well, given that in the past it hasn't. The food was pretty nice, it did take a while but I'm sure the kitchen was packed with orders. I honestly was surprised that everything was positive and nice. Will recommend and go again. Make sure to tip your waiters too! (Even if it's not a big amount)

If you choose Jaxx you won’t be disappointed. Food is the best at fair prices. Nachos, buttermilk chicken , burgers are my favourite dishes from them. Lots of beverages to choose from and the waiters are good prepared to recommend you things if you’re not decided. Very nice waiters, well trained and friendly. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Really recommend this place :)

We choose Jaxx quite often just because is amazing 🤩 Staff is definitely best in town! Young people but very prepared regards all wines and fresh beers they have, make your day from start of the visit. They made all the time surprises like cakes for birthday even they do not know it in advance. American style Food is very good and fresh all the time and will not disappoint you. One of the best in town even on trip advisor. Coffee is also excellent and fresh beer just wow done in Cluj. Enjoy Barlogul beer 🍺 cheers

People working there in a busy evening did not bother to serve me a coffee, as they had more ”important” orders. The way importance of the other is understood by them shows how ridiculously funny they think of themselves and other people. Cannot say they would be impressed by them being ridiculous as feedback was not something they would have loved to hear, either.
