The best shots I've drank in 2023 and Mihai was the perfect bartender. You enter the bar as a customer and you leave like a family member.

This has become one of the worst place ever. It used to be a place i frequented often whenever i was in Cluj, but recently to customer service is the worst i have ever seen. The place should be open until 1pm but at 10:30 they refuse to accept customers although the place is half empty, and they do that rudely with not explanation or saying any sorry. I used to come regularly but will never even try to go this place ever again. There are many much cooler places in Cluj where being friendly to customers still has some value. Update: Thank you for the owners for the reply. Sarcastic response just further strengthens lack of of professionalism or customer appreciation. The point in the review was not whether the place closes at 1am or not, it was about how i was sent away rudely when i wanted to have a drink, with no apology or explanation. I asked “do you have a table for two”, and they said no we dont although the place was half empty. They could have said sorry we close in x minutes, but you can have a drink if you want. BTW it is not “funny” that i have not noticed the opening hours since there is no opening hours displayed at the entrance and you failed to mention that in your sarcastic reply. Even if the place was open until say 11pm sending away rudely a customer at 10:30 says a lot about the place. I generally stay in the Fullton hotel just next door, and used to have this as one of my favorite places to hang out sometimes longer with a shisha or have a quick drink during different times in the days. The place now was open long enough, i have seen from my window in the hotel, for having a few drinks, which our original plan was. Anyway you lost me as a customer, especially after your reply…

Awful customer service. The staff was giving different information about our stay. We went inside and the waiter at the bar told us it was full but that we could stay outside. Outside, the waiter told us we can not stay without a reservation. She then started screaming at us when asking where we can make a reservation. Also we called in the morning before our arrival and they said they don t make reservations anymore, we just need to come. Do not recommend this place.

Great cocktails & service! If you want to try a different drink go for the spicy kokobongo and surprise me cocktails!😉 while on the pricey side, it’s worth the experience ❤️

While attending the EC festival we stopped for some drinks in Cluj, at Hemingway Bar. The place has an awesome vibe and they make the best cocktails! I went for the star, the Koko Bongo, but literally every drink we tried was delicious! We will definitely be back here everytime we’re in Cluj.

Best cocktails in town, made with quality, signature spirits! Make sure you ask for the Koko Bongo. The interior is vibrant and funky, the terrace is lovely and private. The staff is nice and welcoming. Loved it

Probably the best cocktail bar in the area. Their menu is filled with great cocktails, besides which you can also have shisha. The only improvement that I can think of is speed -> you get to wait for a veery long time until your order comes to the table. Oh, I almost forgot that you get some surprise pretzels with your order and something sweet at your departure (nice touch)

Can't order at the bar. Who makes these idiotic rules. It's a bar. You should be able to order drinks there. Then we sat outside waiting to be served and nobody came to take our order. We left.

A place where time stands still and you feel forever young, the atmosphere is magic and the memories you create inside its walls last through ages. I highly recommend, for the Drinks and the decor :)

Poor lightning and no airflow. Spicy shot was excellent but cocktails were average. Waitress was really nice.

In the menu there are two pages only with assortments of rum. In addition, there is the hookah. What more could you want, especially since the service is 5 stars?

Used to be one of the best cocktail bars in Cluj. Now the management has changed , drinks have almost doubled up in price. The vibe had changed but the drinks are still delicious .

It was a really nice surprise when we entered this bar on a regularly crowded Saturday evening. The chill vibe and the nice setting, as well as the fair prices and really pleasant music made the evening better than initially expected. Highly recommended for a chill relaxing evening out. Try to find a seat upstairs.

Drinks arrived fast. They did, however, mix up my bill with my neighbors. And the music was very loud. The Hemingway specials were very good!

Every visit is made amazing by Bogdan and Mela. Good drinks, I recommend their signature cocktail: Koko Bongo. The ambiance is something different than you normally find in the bars in the city. You'll also find sisha with some interesting flavors. If you're looking for something different and a delightful experience I recommend you drop by them.

Feels like home. By far the best cocktail bar, the flavors, the location and the staff, best you’ll ever have. Is my fav place to go, the shots and kokobongo is to die for, annd for shisa lovers- you will love it. So, it’s a must, see you here😂🫠

The cocktails here are some of the best in Cluj. Whilst they are on the pricier side, don’t let that put you off! The combination of gin, grapefruit and ginger beer with pineapple is a secret combination that I’ve discovered and definitely won’t forget thanks to this place!

Tasty drinks and friendly staff, a bit too pricy from my pov. There was only one waitress on the entire terace and it was pretty full. They should consider two for weekend nights at least. The 'Jungle fever' cocktail is s must try for rum enthusiasts

Not a great reading spot as the lighting is quite low but the drinks are good and I love the vibe in here with the low lighting. Also free pretzels with my drink 🥰
