Service was a touch slow so plan on spending several hours (European way) but you can sit and enjoy the splendid atmosphere. Some stake knives would have been appreciated but the meat was so tender you really didn't need it. The the staff were amazing and the food absolutely outstanding! Had pork chops with truffle mashed potatoes, braised red cabbage and a fantastic tarragon mustard sauce. A true well balanced flavor sensation!

Beautiful outdoor restaurant in a nice courtyard. The place has potential but it's chaotically ran. The service is very slow and the servers are very nonchalant. Nothing phases them. And then if you survive the service, the food comes out slower. The food is average at most and the prices do not suit.

Me and family visited this place for my wife’s birthday dinner. Is great, food is top class, environment with great design and music was suitable for family. I am strongly recommend anyone who pass by Cluj to visit them.

Overall quite good, but you have to take into account that it is more expensive than your usual restaurant. We only had some dessert and it was tasty. The atmosphere is nice, quite a big place. Our waiter, a blond middle aged lady was really nice. The woman at the reception, which gave us the table was a little moody. I would live to see at least one vegetarian burger on the menu. They have pastas and pizza, which are vegetarian and 1/2 vegan options.

Boema really is definitely one of those places that sets itself apart from others. You can dine both indoors or outdoors. It's perfect not just for dinner, as it has also a breakfast menu and a lunch menu, but during night time is when the magic happens. The garden is beautifully lit and if you visit during summer on one of those calm, warm days all the pieces are in place for you to feel afloat. It's a calm, relaxing place, the staff are professional folks, mild mannered and respectable. The prices are a bit higher than the average joint but still affordable for the average folk. You can always check the prices for all the items on their menu on their website which is kept up to date. In conclusion, I've been here multiple times and was always satisfied by the overall experience. Definitely going again and definitely recommending the place. Plus, the location is literally in the heart of the city, so you have a lot of options once you leave the place, depending on what's on your schedule.

I will rate this place for its beauty. I did a wedding style photoshoot here and was mesmerized by the decorations, really enjoyed my time here. Also, the food is great. I tried their pasta but forgot to photograph it. My friends got married in this place. Food and staff were excellent. So, I urge you to consider it for your future events. 10/10 ‼️

The location is pretty awesome in general, especially the courtyard when it's warm outside, it's like a hidden nook in the city. It's a bit on the pricier side, but has pretty good food. We were seated at a big table inside at the 1st floor, as we were a group. The waiter for our table seemed a but tired, and they made some mistakes during our evening: got a wrong drink, forgot to bring some stuff we ordered (had to remind them once or twice), forgot to note down a food order, so someone at the table had to wait extra for that. Also, we only noticed after the fact, but they added extra stuff on our receipt. But otherwise, the place was pretty nicely decorated, a bit on the fancier side, the lighting was a bit diffused, which didn't make for great pictures. The food was good, our group mostly ordered different things and they came out at the same time. Everyone liked the food they got. But the portions are small to decent sized. I enjoyed my medium rare steak, which was a chef's choice and had some good Gin Tonic, though very light on the gin. The desserts I considered overly expensive and didn't get any.

Amazing food. I've had vegan sweet potato salad and hummus. Very flavorful and fresh. Great atmosphere on the first floor balcony.

Attended this evening for a works event. The decor of this venue is really lovely, it’s warm, cosy & inviting. The old wooden ceiling is just beautiful. The venue has been very tastefully designed for its location. We ordered some platters in advance, these were slow to arrive. However once they did we were able to enjoy. The main menu was only available via a QR code, which is great if you have data, otherwise if you ask a member of staff they’ll put the password into your phone to access the menu. The piece of card that has the QR code printed, is double sided one side is the drinks QR code, and the other the one for food. We took sometime to decide on the wine we wanted for our table & once we did were disappointed that the one chosen was not available, so ended up choosing an alternative which was very nice indeed. The waiter decanted into a carafe for us too, again a nice touch. We had our food order taken & it took over an hour plus to arrive. Don’t anticipate your food coming quickly as it’s quite slow in terms of speed of delivery, however once it arrived it was just delicious and our group devoured every mouthful. The food was great, the service good but slow, the venue beautiful. Overall I’d recommend this venue but would recommend to anyone to allow additional time for your meal than you’d perhaps initially allow.

The food is very well made. Maybe the best cus-cus I have ever had. The portions are little though.. And prices are steep. Paired the chicken with a beer. Was ok experience. Not the best option to go by yourself. Maybe on a dinner date, yes.

It should be noted that it is difficult to find really good food in Romania. In Cluj, which is a geography without a food culture and where Italian cuisine generally dominates, the number of restaurants you can find open after 22:00 decreases considerably. I found this restaurant exactly under these filters. The atmosphere is awesome. It has a wonderful garden and interior. The bar is magnificent and well prepared. Unfortunately, the food did not appeal to me very much. We ordered hummus and it had absolutely nothing to do with it. To make a difference, something completely different has emerged and its taste is very sharp. We ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and it was also lacking in flavor. I would like to come again but only for a beer in the garden 😊

It is in an old house properly restored, great atmosphere, during the summer there is an outside area with bar and grill under old trees, in cold weather there is an inside fireplace witch makes the place cozy. Food is very good, not great, it's a bit commercial, and the wine list has a long list of Issa wines which are far from quality.

The place is cozy and nice with a big terrace but the food is mediocre. We had some platters with cheese, salami and some salads that were ok. The burger meat is ok but the bun was burnt, dry and crunchy. The pastas were too salty and a bit greasy, not the best carbonara in town. On the other hand, the desserts were amazing!

One of the finest restaurants in Cluj Napoca (so I heard). The food is pretty fancy, and pretty good even though as an enjoyer of ribs in general, I could not rate those cow ribs with a maximum grade ( a bit too fat for my taste). They were cooked to perfection though, as you can see from the photos. The staff is great, they treat and serve you well. Very nice decoration and Ambiente. The service was excellent, ans the food was great as well. I had the sea bass and it was done well. The chef recommended steaks looks very tasty. Definitely recommended.

Great food. Good service and vibes. There is seating in a garden kind of setting. So very different from usual restaraunts. Might not be the best venue in winters but certainly a summer restaraunt. Try their garlic and cheese laden fries. Will recommend. And will come again.

Unfortunately we went there in a busy day and the service was a little slow. The garden is beautiful but it was full. The inside is nice also and we served nice food: - hummus cu busuioc; - pizza cu sunca si ciuperci; - coaste de porc.

The entrance of this restaurant may be small and sober in a back street of the old town district, but you will find sooner a very spacious, cozy and beautiful patio surrounded by terrace tables and old historical buildings. I took a seat on the terrace table in the patio, green leaves modestly shuttered strong sunbeams coming from the blue sky of June. The dishes are also superb; I ordered handmade linguine with prawns; garlic butter based sauce with prawns, gamba, cherry tomatoes and parsley. The taste was nicely condensed.

The food is good although a little bit pricey but the service is not very good we had to wait more than 40 minutes to pay, and we only paid because the manager arrived. Not really worth tbh

Off the beaten path, with the street a ruin now (road and sewers works), hides this wonderful patio garden. Every employee smiles and instantly knows if you need something. The food was very tasty and waiting times are minimal. We really liked it here.

Good food and a great variety of wines. But service and cleanliness is awful: 1. Rest of broken glass on the table, which means it was not clean after the last client 2. Some dirt on the water glass, which, by the way was sitting on the table facing up. 3. Sticky glass of juice. 4. Broken glass of wine 5. Even if they have a nice rictus, you can feel the unfriendly, careless attitude of the waiters.

Very nice garden. The service is a bit slow and the food is way too pricey for its quality. The menu from a few years ago was more interesting and the food was more tasty.

Amazing restaurant, we were here for a wedding and the food was fantastic. We also enjoyed their terrace. It's a must try when in Cluj

One of the best (even if hidden) gems in Cluj! A nice little quaint corner of green nature, nice ambiance, somewhat surprising but tasty food combinations and a very polite service. Would definitelt recommend and would come back again o the next visit!

Beautiful space, the drinks were really good. It seems the kitchen is understaffed. The main dish arrived after about 1h, and the dessert 20-30 min after we finished the main dish. It seemed my request for a bunless burger got lost in translation and ended up a no-bun and no-salad super-salty burger. Fortunately one of the waiters quickly brought the salad and sauces on the side.

I wanted a salad, a soup and a dessert. I waited for the soup for 50 minutes and after a total of 2 hours spent here I left. The salad was good. The soup had no taste.
