went there for Valentine's day. Only found out after we arrived that there ia a set menu. The serving was terrible.got the appetisers after half an hour and the water we ordered after 45 min. We finally after more than 1.2 h got the main course witch was disappointing. The seafood was dry, the vegetable were cold, all souse was the ones that you get in a cheep fastfood..we ate because we were hungry.. they took our plates after another 45 min and we finally got a dessert..with no option to choose ..that wass al they had...the toilets are no veri sanitary and no recommend. overall very disappointed!

Excellent food and staff. Recommend the skewers and the octopus mains (it’s real good ). For the wine we took the red and even the ones with lowest $ are v good.

It was my first time trying octopus. I swear this was 100% amazing! Will definitely try again. The staff was also so nice and kind. Nice addition to my list of great restaurants.

Food was ok, the service was good, nice staff, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what it offers. You can find similar quality food at a more decent price. Sangria was also not what I expected.

the place offers a great variety of dishes (their seafood is especially worth checking out) and the atmosphere is definitely reminiscent of Mediterranean places. Spending a relaxed evening there is definitely a culinary experience ✨

The prices are high the portions are small. The service was slow (we waited for 1h and even had to go check if they were preparing the food or just forgot). The food was a sad, cold joke. We literally got a few pieces of meat and 2 potatoes for 86 lei. For some reason they didn't know how to split a bill. It was absolutely embarrassing that they made us think we're buying an exquisite portuguese wine with 95 lei, whereas in a normal supermarket it's literally 18 lei. We left hungry and bankrupt. Disgusting tourist trap.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant, at the Central Park location during the Wine Festival. The service was subpar: the staff didn't even know what was on the menu, they were close to charging us incorrectly if we hadn't been vigilant in checking the POS... and after we placed the order and waited for 30-40 minutes (mind you, it was just us and a few other customers at a nearby table, so it wasn't busy), our food was brought to us (a cream cheese and prosciutto sandwich and an overly oily octopus salad with peppers and onions)... Furthermore, the third dish we ordered and already paid for was replaced with a cone containing 3 shrimps, without asking for our agreement to substitute a dish from our order. Not recommended.

I had a delightful experience at Camponeza restaurant in Cluj! I savored the Tartar with Fish-bacalhau paired with a refreshing Vinho Verde, which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you're looking to indulge in Portuguese delicacies, this restaurant is the perfect spot in Cluj. The staff was incredibly friendly and skilled, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience!

Food is very good, meats are cooked exactly as they should be: tender, juicy and flavorful. Staff is very friendly and knows how to present the menu and the wines. The only downside is the crowded indoor seating area and super small tables.

We visited the restaurant in the evening 9th of June 2023 and chose a place in the street alley. Strangely enough, there were hardly any guests and all the other restaurants were full. We ordered seafood, fish, crab for two persons. The food was really ok although it took more than 1 hours to get it. The service was unfortunately inattentive and slow. The wine was also too warm. We asked for another plate concerning the empty muscles and crab shells and they brought us a extremely tiny bowl 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ They we're unable to serve us the normal plate we have asked for the seafood leftovers. We also didn't get a bib for the crabs and we were soaked from top to bottom. Due to that we were soaked with sea leftovers. Furthermore, we noticed that the same dish would have been much cheaper individually. Therefore, beware of the 2-person dishes, it is better to order them individually. 💪🏽💪🏽

We had dinner here for Valentine’s day, the place was overcrowded as expected, but the problem was that they added extra tables and it was uncomfortable. Anyway, we hoped that the food was going to compensate for it, but we waited about 40 min for the apetizers, some ham and cheese, nothing special. The main course also disappointed, I had the shrimp on a skewer which were way overcooked, very hard to peel, and they had a burnt taste. We were also waiting for a desert that never came and decided to leave. It got pretty annoying because the other people started to complain also. The bill was the same as for a seafood restaurant in Barcelona, just not worth it. And by the way, they billed the desert also even though we didn’t have it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody.

We took a seafood plate for 2 and it IS a LOT of food. Fantastic service and excellent food.

The restaurant is very nice, has all kinds of meat and fish. Nothing for vegetarians. The dishes that we tried (Fish mix and beed) were super delicious. A little bit more side dish would be nice. All in all a good place, i can recommand.

Food is high quality, very tasty and well prepared. They have Portuguese wine, I especially enjoy the Vinho Verde. Live fado music was played the evening of our visit.

Great food and amazing atmosphere! However, even if the wine collection is great, a lot of them were not available. Also, there's no menu for their whisky or cognac collection even if they have a few bottles displayed.

Me and my girlfriend have been there on Saturday. It was quite busy and probably understaffed but we managed to sit anyway. We had to wait 20 minutes to order, which would be almost acceptable if after that our food would have come in 15-20 minutes. But no, we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes more to eat (I am not exaggerating, we kept track of time). While we waited waiters came and told us: 1. we should have at least called since it was so busy, which I think is right, especially given the fact that it was Saturday, though it does not justify an 80 minutes wait. 2. that if we were hungry while we waited, we could have ordered and appetizer. This sounded so unbelievably rude, unwelcoming and disrespectful, especially in hindsight of our long experience. Eventually, exhausted, we stood up to leave, without having tasted anything, but we were stopped by a waitress asking us to wait a minute more and that the food was on its way to the table (which it was). Meat was okay, not really much to do wrong with 2 pieces of meat on a rod, to be honest and definitely not worth the wait. It was not really cheap considered what we ordered, but we knew that when we sat; however, I would have expected at least a discount after all this waiting and after the fact we were literally leaving after 80 minutes from our order. If it was for the wait itself, I would have given it a second chance: bad days happen to everyone, and is unfair to judge something so harshly based on a single experience, but the way they managed the customer gives me the idea that they just don't care that much, unless you threaten them to stand up and leave. Only regret is that we did not stand up and leave sooner. Will not come back.

Not just a restaurant, but an experience. Underground medieval wine cellar turned fine dining, open view kitchen, and walls separating seating areas in case you want some extra privacy and quiet. We usually go there to celebrate our work victories, we've even taken our clients / guests, and every single time, it's been a success. Adriana Berezovski, the live singer, is simply magnificent. Enchanting fado music performer and just a lovely personality, for us she's the biggest attraction of A Camponeza. The entire staff, including the chefs, are very attentive and always go out of their way to ensure we have a great time. Plan ahead and get a reservation because the place is usually packed, especially the seating in the main area where Adriana performs. P. S. Order the sangria (traditional recipe) and brigadeiro cake (chocolate heaven) 💜

I only stay half hour for a glass of water in heat of the afternoon, but I've seen a very well managed place located in the heart of the city with a very diverse menu. I will definitely return for a few steaks 🙂
