Unfortunately I can’t give more then 3 stars. The food was really great and also the drinks. The biggest problem was with the service and how they where serving the drink and food. The restaurant had only 2 people that where taking orders and making the drinks. On a Saturday night thats to little and they didn’t manage to take make everything in time. The chairs where we were seated were dirty. We wanted another table that was free and had a better views of the place but it wasn’t allowed because we were only 3 persons and they did not want us to occupy a table that is for 6. That was fine with us but when another group of 3 came in they got seated at a table that had 8 seats. The service was the biggest problems we had with this place. We ordered some drinks, when they where ready they just put the drink in front of 1 person and thrown the straws on the table. They where in constant rush to serve every table but didn’t manage to do it appropriately. The food is good.

Delicious food, nice staff. The serving was OK, but the prices still a little high. Especially as many dishes do not include a side dish.

Overall the food quality decreased in all Marty locations. Food is expensive however the quality of the ingredients and the cooking process is a desirable. Most dishes taste really full Service quality on the other hand increased which is admirable - waiters are very polite, careful and present Atmosphere was really nice, I particularly liked that the music was not so loud Some of the very good deserts like deep dark chocolate cheesecake were removed from the menu which is a pitty

I would give them 10 stars, the food was so good and the menu so diverse. I’m definetly coming back!

Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is great as well. During fall I recommend Apple pie cooler, it really has autumn flavors 🍂

Last times we visited there wasn't so busy and the food came fast, staff was friendly and professional. Food is great but the coffee not so good, at least from my point of view. Compared to other places around with great food prices are a bit higher.

Marty used to be my favourite place to go.. what have they done to it? We went out for celebration and we were dissapointed with the food quality, we got some cheese antre with bacon turned out to be a supermarket bought bun with 5g of cheese and 5g of bacon, you can't make this up. Service was above average, but food quality was dissapointing, pitty it's a great location/designed that culimnated with such a dissapointment.

Very good food, service...I always go with pleasure to Marty. Both me and my partner were very satisfied and happy with what we ate. Also this location Marty Museum has a very pleasent ambient with all the decorations around and is very central. I totally recommend it. Prices vary but I consider them mid to high range, but still decent, totally worth for what you pay.

Food was pretty great. If you want to dine here please be aware that the food will be at best warm and it it slightly expensive

I've went immediately inside when seeing the ambiance from Muzeului Square. I was surprised of the nice interior design and how well the restaurant looks like. It was not far till my high expectancies crushed from the sky. Service was mediocre and food was also mediocre. I would say bad if looking at the price paid. Overpriced mediocre quality. Hopefully they will raise the standard as per the interior design and overall brand image.

Nice restaurant with a very wide selection of dishes. You can practically eat anything here from Romanian to Hungarian to Italian or East Asian. Some things we ordered were not as good as the others - I’d recommend the spareribs, pork dishes and curry. The design an interior are great and the place apparently sits on top of an ancient roman excavation site which you can see if you go to the bathroom… I thought the music was abut too loud for a restaurant but maybe it’s just me.

Fantastic food and fabulous service, Don’t forget to have an experience of the great taste of food at Marty Restaurant. If you are in Cluj then Marty is must visit to calm your tummy. Everything is great food, service, ambience highly recommended.

We had lunch and dinner more than 3 times there already. It's a very nice restaurant, great and pleasant atmosphere and tasty food. They have a wide range of options when it comes to food and drinks and even for vegetarians. I liked it and i will definitely visit it again!

Amazing food and a grea experience at affordable prices. The menu is built in an intricate way and makes you want more. They have a lovely selection of mushrooms, truffles and all cuts of meat. We had the pork and parmezan chicken with truffle mashed potatoes and they were amazing. The milkshakes are also good(especially the popcorn one). Definitely a place to see if you're in Cluj for any amount of time.

This would have been 5 out of 5 for service as well as the server we had on Thursday and Sunday was amazing. But then the server we got Friday was awful. Would not talk to us at all even when a mistake was made on our bill. Both times we sat at the first table from the door if that helps.

Lovely place in the old town, delicious coffee and a tasty brunch (they have vegetarian options). The staff were friendly and gave us water for our 🐶

The barbecue sauce was okay. I was surprised to be provided with a menu in Romanian. I had to ask for an English menu. There are multiple kinds of soups on the menu, but I was informed that only two of them were available

The food was excellent, and the service matched its quality. Everything surpassed our expectations.

Pinsas were very tasty. Downside was that we've waited 40 min for them. Would go again.

We entered with a group of 7 people after we made a reservation. Service was nice and friendly, we got a good seat and the drinks came fast. We did not eat there, so this is not part of this review. We can recommend this location :-)

Hello Cluj nice to meet you at last! So first meal of the day for a adventurous family of four. EXCELLENT! There is no more to say, ask for breakfast and try anything eggs. A pin point for Turkish eggs with yogurt... for someone as balcanic as me it was an instant choice. Nice atmosphere, very quiet way of interacting with staff, well placed, delicious (at least) breakfast. Not cheap but neither expensive (what is today ;-). Certainly a place to consider when in Cluj. Well 👍!

Upscale, excellent food, professional service, out of the ordinary. Inspired combination of rustic and modern. Roman era paving ruin exhibition at the basement is an worth seeing.

I was surprised. I have tried the pork neck (which is a pretty common and nonsophisticated meal) - but not here! The taste and the looks of it made me check the order a second time. Very nice taste and very different from what I was used to. Five stars!

Great food & friendly staff. In Romania on a work trip and decided to have dinner here. I had the leg of duck which was tender to the point of melting in my mouth! We were offered a complimentary drink at the end also.

Excellent food and affordable prices thinking you are talking about Cluj. We had seafood soup, potato and lentil soup and some couscous to share, plus a matcha latte, all very tasty. The waiters were nice and friendly and the place was clean and not overcrowded. You need to book if you go with many people. I was impressed how clean the toilets were too. Keep it up! Also you can admire the Roman roads from the basement here. I would recommend coming here for lunch, dinner or just a coffee.

First of all I want to thank the restaurant for the great service. I went there with a friend, and we managed to get a seat even though it was fully reserved. I love that you can see the chefs do their jobs. The place looks very very good. The food is really tasty. The service is top. And I mean it. They put a lot of effort into satisfying their clients. I truly recommend the place, but you should make a reservation before.

Very interesting menu and good food. Unfortunately it's only indoors. The place was quite crowded when I last went there and the staff was pretty overworked so it was quite a long wait until they came and took our orders. But overall a nice experience
