Not sure how they got their 4.8 rating. Everything was good, but not amazing. Design is "typical burger joint", some US vibes, yellow and black, clean and light. Strangely for such a highly rated place, it was completely empty. Granted this was after lunch, but near-5* places are never this free of customers. So, don't know. I think 4* is deserved, 4.8 is exaggerated. That said, Cluj generally seems to overrate their burger places.

Quite a catch for a quick and delicious bite; we had 'I am blue' and 'El Chapo' burgers and both were very much on point. The staff is so friendly and nice, and the general atmosphere of the place is pleasant and chill.

Great burger place in Cluj-Napoca! Really delicious food, with new and interesting combinations of flavors. The meat was tasty, also the fries with parmesan and parsley. I would recommend this place if you want to eat a good burger in the heart of the city.

I genuinely recommend this place! It has the best burgers in town, it has cool decorations and here are the sweetest and kindest waiters ever. The prices are okay, maybe even too low for this high quality. Thank you again!

Very cozy and relaxing place. The staff was incredibly friendly and our food arrived in no more than 15 mins. Both the burgers and the fries were above expectations. The pickles are especially good since they’re homemade. Definitely choose this place if you’re around!

The atmosphere is nice. The staff is friendly, but the menu is only available in Romanian (but there are pictures on the menu). There were plenty of options to choose from.

the newly renovated MEAT UP - a joy for the taste buds! a must come! we were welcomed with great service and amazing food. the local IPA they serve was an excellent bonus to the superb burger and fries (do get dirty!) :)

The best burgers in Cluj. They feel fresh and natural. You won't blame yourself after because of eating fast food.

Tasty but portions are not big enough if you are very hungry. You can buy local beer.

This place is not worth its good reputation. The buns were apparently grilled but served cold and the meat is super super thin. The burgers are around 35 lei, add the drinks and the fries (only good part of everything we ordered) and the total comes up to a solid 80-85 lei per person. Ambiance is a bit off because of the two sets of lights flooding the room with way too much light. Not worth it one second. I won't say here which one, but there is better burger places than this in Cluj

Far from what a burger means, the meat is very thin, I didn't even feel the taste... The potatoes were good, but the parmesan was something else, I took it off the potatoes to taste it separately and it didn't even taste like cheese (probably the dude in the kitchen has never seen parmesan cheese before and he also scraped the peel 😂🤣 ). And the last thing, the milkshake was warm, I knew that it's usually with ice cream, or at least it's cold. I don't recommend, maybe it was something cool once. but now it's clearly not worth 170 lei for 2 people 😶

Great smashed burger with a lovely crust. The brioche bun is soft and moist. Home made fries...all I'm saying! Atmosphere i also a plus, very relaxed and fresh. Prices are fair too.

Not sure how this place got such great reviews. I came here because a lot of friends said it is the best place to eat a burger in Cluj but 68 lei for a cheap fast food similar burger is a ripoff. The meat was very thin and the bun was not the most tasty. The fries were home made so those were acceptable but the burger a total disappointment.

The environment is like a student place, we liked the hamburger, but the beer we ordered on the recommendation was not very nice. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, but she has a little problem with English 🤗. French fries are successful, but is it a place I would like to go again, it is a question mark.

Best place in town for burgers and ribs. It might take some time to get your order, but it's worth the wait. The burgers are carefully cooked so that every bite is a delicious experience. The ribs are amazing, and the dish is huge. Make sure you are hungry when you order them. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the city.

Mcdonalds quality at a premium price. The burgers were good some time ago. Not anymore. Now they are not cooked properly and have gotten way smaller. I have specifically asked to have it medium rare. And clarified that it should be pink inside. I have gotten it well done. See attached photo above. Also uploaded the menu photo to better see what you get vs what it's advertised.

Had the El Chapo. A bit small for how I personally think a burger should be, but that means less calories 😂. The bun had a bit of Mcdonalds feeling on how it looked, but the taste was good. Overall a good and tasty burger. Also had the dirty fries as a side and have to say they were good. Music is a nice plus for me, perfect for enjoying a burger. Overall a nice experience that needs to be repeated. Had a nice IPA, but would have loved a draft option as well. Only thing I didn't get is why this place is empty, while everyone is ordering via delivery. People get out and enjoy a fresh made burger!

Very tasty burgers, diverse menu and great quality of service

THE best burger I’ve had in a long time. The service was very fast, very comfortable seating indoors at big tables. Mains plug points to charge your phone. I had the El Chapo burger and it wasn’t too much food and it wasn’t too little either, paired with Dirty Fries and a fantastic local beer. It was an absolute treat. If visiting Cluj I highly recommend you grabbing a burger here. It won’t take up a lot of your time eating here but you will remember it.

This is a place I can definitely imagine visiting again soon! Went there for a lunch yesterday. Staff was really nice, I would say that the fries, may have been the best fries I had (except for homemade, of course) and the burger was really nice! Only thing I didn't really appreciate was how sweet the bun was on the burger, but I am not sure if it would have been this good with different bun so . . . Definitely recommend!!

For sure the best burger place in the city. I'm Americanand Jam it up are may favorites! And those fries - omg! The ribs are also something you do not want to miss!

It all started with a random choice on a food app as I Felt like eating a burger. I now can confess with all the honesty that this is the best place in town where you could go and eat a burger. The moment I tried I knew that there won’t be any other place that I will order burgers from but this one. Also, if you are into spicy food then El Chapo is for you.

Always a pleasure to go there! The food is excellent, the waiters are super kind and respectful and our food arrived in no more than 15 minutes. + decent prices! Totally recommend <3
