Don't believe the people saying it's "okay but old" - it is a 2* hotel at best which charges you 400 RON as if it was adequate. I don't know if those other reviews are fake, but it's the worst maintained "4*" hotel I've ever been to. And it's not a Romanian thing - there are good 3* hotels here, so there has to be something fishy going on. Let the attached pictures speek for themselves... My first room had the wallpaper peeling off the wall and huge visible strains of hair-fat on the headrest of the bed. See the pictures... After I changed rooms (thank you to the great staff - they are doing a fantastic job whilst being embarrassed themselves) the air-conditioning had some sort of issue and sounded like a idling diesel car. The bed-lamp is about to fall off the wall because last tome somebody touched that thing was probably years ago. How can the cleaning staff not notice that? So I changed rooms a third time - now I have no hand towel and the cleaning staff seems to have missed that a guest before me placed an empty can of washing fluid inside the toothbrush glass. Oh - and my closet has 2 coat hangers. 2!! And look at the refreshment tray placed in my room. One glass for a double room. Seriously guys - AVOID AT ALL COST. You will regret it. If you need something to get to the airport quick don't get fooled by "4*". It's not. Its a motel you find regularly along highways.

It' s an ok-ish hotel that we booked for a work trip. Pro: it's right in the city, pretty close to corporate buildings and just a few bus stations away from the city center (that means you won't have a good view from any room as it is surrounded by apartment buildings / windows / balconies, but you can walk or take a short bus ride to get places - although quite a lot of traffic between 17:00-19:00). The place could use some updates in furniture or room vibe, as it's all a little old in brown and bej. Important: request a room that's further from the elevator as it makes a disturbing sound that wakes you up in the morning and keeps you up late at night. Bathrooms need a little work too as the shower heads leak or don't work. Included breakfast was ok when it was warm. You need to wait a while for the drinks to be served to the tables, better go to the bar yourself and order them.

I traveled on business and stayed 5 nights on the hotel and I do NOT recommend. The beds are terrible, soft and uneven, weird pillows, the overall hotel need a renew. The breakfast was not even close to what you see on the pictures. Before going to the hotel I recommended to other co-workers that just tried the breakfast 1 morning and preferred to skip all other days.

Definitely not a four-star hotel. Everything long past its lifetime, clean but not quite, the bathroom vent rattled so loudly I felt like an intruder. Little did I know that I wasn't gonna be the only one intruding: the walls are so thin, I heard someone snoring throughout the night like they were right next to me! The breakfast buffet was a similarly sad affair. I do have two positive comments though. The staff was very nice and helpful. And - and believe me, I am as shocked for typing this as you are about to be - the granite floor in the shower is unbelievably pleasant to stand on! 😁

This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. We have been there for 1 night just to go to the airport in the morning. The Elevator in the 2. floor, where we had our rooms, are extremle noisy. We could hear the chairs from the other rooms. There where some guest very loud at 1am. The restaurant was not clean at the bar and the table. I will not stay there again.

Nice hotel. A bit dark colors combined with the view/environment becomes a bit depressing. Great amenities and very nice and helpful staff esp the lady at the kitchen.

Slept horribly. The walls are super thin - I could hear every word on my neighbors TV until 4AM. The jacuzzi is not functioning. Pool and shower water too cold. Water in the room also too cold. I’ve seen better 4 star hotels in Africa. Won’t sleep here again.

It's a great place for a short stay. It has private parking, so there's no need to worry about leaving your car safe. The only thing that is worth mentioning when it comes to cons is related to the water temperature at the pool. It was quite cold, to be honest.

Very nice hotel. Great service. Amazing breakfast and very tasty food. Clean apartments and nice modern design. There are minor things that need improvement though. It is too hot in the rooms and no possibility to open the windows, even if you turn off the heating it was boiling hot. The WiFi was not working in our room. The fridge in our room 400 was not working, the drinks were hot as the room itself. There was no toothbrush and toothpaste which usually are there, but the towels were clean. These small things made me give only 4 stars, otherwise I would give 5.The overall impression is quite positive and I would recommend it. Especially a huge thanks for our waiter today. He was very pleasant and polite, patient and simply a nice person. I don't know his name but he was really good 👍

Had better expectations for a 4-star hotel; the room was pretty confy but a few screws were hanging out from the walls. Unfortunately the promised Spa did not work and all we had was a swimming pool with LEDs around it which looked pretty. The food was tasty. Not any great disadvantages though.

One night (Monday) at Hotel Paradis Cluj Pros: - Clean beds linens and bathroom - Helpful staff in room reservation and calling a cab - Quiet room on third floor even on the street side - Mini fridge in the room with water, beer, carbonated juices etc. - Buffet with tasty breakfast food at restaurant Cons: - Shower above the tub doesn’t have walls and/or curtain - The tub handle for lifting help was loose on the wall and falls when pull it - Open hatch door in the ceiling for pipes visitation, remaining open from a maintenance intervention (I am assuming) - Definitely not 4 stars hotel - Old building with a specific smell - Overpriced hotel compared to the conditions: $98.55 per one night - Not the best color chosen for furniture as they look dirty - The fabric on the bed head with dirty head marks - The wi-fi password was not provided at check in - Breakfast not included in price; long line occurs due to the slow coffee machine.

Average-Low value for money. Enclosed, small, private parking area. Staff is friendly and can speak english. Pretty clean during our stay. Very expensive drinks. Varied but overpriced food. Minimal space in the spa area. Shower head not working in our room. AC doesn't seem to work. Very thin walls, no sound proofing.

I booked a hotel for my mother who had to leave Ukraine due to a current situation. The staff is incredibly helpful with everything! I spoke to a guy named Alim , very nice and professional young man) He helped me with the reservation and reassured me he will help my mum with the check-in as she speaks no English! I am so ever thankful!

Restaurant gentleman and Reception staff (4 of them I've met so far) were amazing. Don't know where they build up the excellent customer service but they're always going the extra mile. Booked couple of nights and must say my room was quite nice, the SPA is a good place where you can rest after a busy day, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Not to mention the after sale customer service, absolutely helpful. They let me keep my rental car in their car park at no extra charge until collection was sorted. Guys, keep up with the good work!

This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It is not acceptable to have poor cleaned rooms especially during pandemic. Food options are limited, and even if the breakfast is served between 7-10, you’d better be there early if you want to eat something by your choice. If not, the lady from the kitchen (very nice lady btw) will suggest you an omlette or some sunny side ups.. The price is simply not justified.

In my opinion, the hotel definitely does not meet the standards of a 4* hotel, but at most a 3*. The hotel is already very outdated and would need renovation. Some of the room amenities were not functional. The spa was partially unfinished, but at the same time already very outdated. Breakfast was good and rich, but the dishes did not seem completely clean. We have stayed in several other 4* hotels in Romania, but this was clearly the worst. Free parking in the courtyard of the hotel. Wifi in the room very slow to unusable. Hotel staff spoke good English. Location of the hotel outside the centre.
